I don’t do reviews,but this is without a shadow of a doubt the best shaver I’ve owned.No wonder it’s no. 1 on amazon,how a certain electronics company from Holland can justify their outrageous prices is beyond me,this was only less than 30.
I bought this just for when we are away in our caravan but it has become my everyday shaver. It is very quiet compared to others I’ve used over the years, is very easy to clean as can just flick the top open and run it under the tap. Battery life is very good and easily lasts at least two shaves (I’ve not left longer than that between charges so could possibly be more). Gives a nice close shave even without using the wet shave option. Very impressed!
I’m looking for budget friendly razor and I came across with this and I ordered it first I was confused with it. But when I used it. It’s so good and efficient. The shaver feels will balanced and is comfortable to hold while shaving. The precision trimmer makes detailing easy of sideburns, and headlock allows me to get a close shave in those awkward places such as underneath the nose.
My first time using a head shaver and got to say i am impressed with how good it is for the price.
Probably would get a closer shave with a razor, but have used a few times now and got no cuts or skin rash.
Good that you can get a replacement head to save having to buy a complete unit.
4 or 5 uses in and this has done an excellent job so far. Aside from standard clippers, this is the first time I’ve ever used an electric shaver on my head so I wasn’t going to dive too heavily into the piggy bank, but I must say I’m impressed. It appears to hold all of the shavings, it is very easy to grip and it produces a close, smooth shave. It is simple to clean with it’s magnetic base and the battery life is excellent too (still on 80%)
I tried a 3-day shave, but I wasn’t truly comfortable with how it felt, even though it still done its job admirably. In future I think I’ll to a 2-day shave, as it feels a lot smoother.
If time continues to show the same results then this could be one of the easiest recommendations ever.
It worked for most of my head and then suddenly decided it wanted to retire. It still makes noise it’s like the vibration for the heads isn’t working so I’m not sure what the craic is.
I still gave it 4 our of 5 as it is clearly a rare problem going by the many other great reviews and I understand that no company makes products that work flawlessly 100% of the time.
I’ll contact that sellers and see what we can sort out .

I had been using a Pitbull skull shaver for the past few years but it stopped working last weekend. I went to buy a new one but noticed the good reviews this shaver had so decided to give it a go. It arrived this morning but because my previous shaver had broken over five days ago I thought this new one might struggle to get through that much hair. I was totally wrong, it slid through no problem at all and give a really good, close shave, right down to the skin. I had my whole head shaved in a couple of minutes and the battery was still left at 94%. I’ve been shaving my head for close to twenty years, I’ve used many different types of clippers and shavers and I think this one is probably my favourite.
I have had this shaver for over a month now and I use it almost every day and it is a really beautiful piece of kit. The build quality is superb, it shaves really well, and the battery lasts forever. It is also a dream to clean due to the way the head is held on by magnets. it comes with a lovely little travel bag. How they can do that for the price is beyond me. I find it hard to believe that a 200 pound shaver would be would be so much better to be worth the money. To be clear I have not tried a 200 pound shaver I just don’t think I need to now that I have this one. If you want to try a head shaver then you should make this one your first foray into the wonderful world of a hairless head
I have bought a few head shavers in my time and have to say this one out ways all of them for the following reasons:
1. The cut quality is great.
2. Battery life is superb
3. Easy to hold and use
But most importantly, where most other head shavers fail is the ease of cleaning this product, the whole head is magnetic and you simply pull it off and clean the whole shaver head in one go!
Whereas many others you have to open each blade up one by one and they can break easily and tbh they take longer to clean than to shave which is annoying, but not with this product a game changer as far as I’m concerned worth every penny.
Had a Remington rx5 for a while which is good but terrible battery life. Thought I’d try this after good reviews and I’m glad I did.
Pros – it’s concave in shape- why are shavers generally convex with boasts about how they will flex to suit your head? Make them concave to star with!. Rant over! Nice feel, doesn’t get hot, display great and only used a few percent per shave. Easy clean and no rash at back of neck ( unlike rx5)
Cons- not as close as the Rx5 ( maybe why my neck isn’t as red) and awkward round ears/sideburns ( all shavers have the same issue)
I’d give it 9/10 so 4.5 rather than 4, but just short of 5 as I wouldn’t be able to skip days.
My old electric shaver was very rough on my face and would leave me with a sore face for the rest of the day. I’m 100% glad that I bought this shaver after using it a few times. The battery life is a huge lifesaver, as my old one would die after about four uses. I rarely find myself needing to charge this new one, honestly. It lasts for so long, and the actual process of shaving is extremely quick, efficient, and surprisingly quiet, unlike my old one. Additionally, my old shaver didn’t cut everything. I would often find myself going over the same little hair multiple times just to cut it. However, this electric shaver easily cuts very close to the skin and leaves me with a very smooth face without any soreness! The trimmer feature is another bonus for convenient use!
I’ve been shaving my head for 30 years using clippers. I’ve been used to it and accepted the hassle as part of my everyday life. Now I’ve seen these type of shavers around for a while now and always resisted being a bit old school and stuck in my ways. I took the plunge on this one after reading some reviews and thought if it was crap I can send it back. Straight from the box, it was charged, and worked like a dream. I couldn’t believe it. It took me less than five minutes to do my whole head, neck and face. What!!! And there is absolutely no mess either! This is such a clever little device. I can sit watching TV having a full shave instead of being hunched over trying to contain mess onto a sheet of newspaper LOL. A real game changer for me. All you need to do is gently tap it out after use and that’s it! The battery lasts me over a week before needing recharging via a USB C connection, just like my phone. So that’s great for travel too not needing to bring a separate charger. It also has a great little power-lock function so it won’t go off accidentally in a bag or whatever, draining the battery and freaking out security at the airport. Listen, I’m so grateful to the developers and manufacturers of this shaver, honestly. Absolutely brilliant and with a lifetime guarantee?!?! Superb. Outstanding. Unbelievable
So this is my first ever electric head shaver. As a result I can’t compare this to any other elecric headshaver although I recently purchased a headblade however those are apples to oranges, you can never compare a razor to an electric shaver. Up until now I was using my braun Series 7 shaver that I use on my face for my head and once a week I would use a razor on my head and face. So first off the bat this shaves closer on my head than my Braun Series 7 does. So from that perspective it’s already an improvent. It’s also quicker and easier to use on my head than my Braun. I’m not trying to directly compare it to the Braun as that shaver was never intended to shave your head as it’s main purpose. I’m just stating that it’s an improvement. For me a dedicated headshaver was never worth the investment but at this price you can’t go wrong. So for the price of this and for that reason alone it’s definitely an improvement for me. The added benefit is that my Braun shaver blades will now last longer as well because I’m no longer shaving my head with them and basically more than halving their workload. I’m only a few shaves in, so long term I’m not sure how long the blades on this will last. I might revisit this review after a few months but for now the ease of use and the simplicty to clean it all make this a definite win for me. As I said for the price I don’t think you can lose here. One major concern though is that I couldn’t find any replacement blades for this here or anywhere. So I almost returned it because to me it’s pointless getting a shaver you can’t get replacement blades for but I contacted the customer service and they assured me replacement blades will be available for it, this or next month. So that’s definitely a concern but for the price I think worth the risk. This has definitely improved my daily grooming regime. It’s easier to use than my standard electric shaver on my head, It’s faster and it’s closer. So they are all wins and at a bargain price. If like me you are reluctant to buy a dedicated headshaver then at this price don’t be. I highly recommend it. One tip if you are dry shaving… (I haven’t tried wet shaving with this yet but i rarely do that anyway) is to use a shaving oil when dry shaving on the scalp. I usually do this anyway on both the face and scalp but especially with the way you use these type of floating head shavers they really do benefit from a silicone oil like King of Shaves or whatever your favourite brand is. It makes a HUGE difference with this style of shaver for comfort and ease of use even more so than the standard foil shavers. As with foil shavers you tend to back and forth in straight lines, however with these type of shavers you tend to use circular motions and for that reason an oil lubricant on the scalp super charges these type of shavers.
Easy to use, quick and close to shave and good price. First of these razors that I have tried but happy with product, I have used it a dozen times and product is working well. Charges quickly and holds the hair so no mess.

The price tags on some of the better known brand head shavers, forced me to search around. The price point of the DOAO Head Shaver immediately caught my attention, supported by its excellent reviews and product claims/features.
I have been using the shaver for a few weeks and it has been excellent so far. Hopefully the below helps someone:
Performance – no problems achieving a very close shave all around, in just a few minutes. I haven’t tried it with shaving foam yet but I can’t imagine the finish being any closer.
Noise – much quieter than I expected. Probably the quietest shaver I have used.
Comfort – definitely one of the best features for me. There is no snagging or scraping when shaving in small circles or in any direction.
Weight – much lighter than I expected and so effortless to glide around.
Charging – the shaver is really simple to charge and I can probably get at least 4-5 shaves from a full charge.
Cleaning – this is another standout feature. The hairs collect inside well for the duration of the shave and easily discarded afterwards. Being able to wash the heads is another real time-saving bonus.
Overall, I’m really glad that I gambled on DOAO and saved paying a ridiculous price on one of the other big brand head shavers. Great value for money! I would definitely shop DOAO products again.
I was in the market for a new set of blades for my existing head shaver and this product was cheaper than just that alone, so I went for it. I am really please I did. The main problem I have had with all my head shavers is how easy (or difficult) they are to clean. This one is perfect. It has enough space behind the blades to mean you could do 2 or 3 shaves and it still not be full. Great for when you’re in a hurry. Even when you do clean it, it so easy as there isn’t anywhere for the hairs to get trapped, so just running it under a tap cleans it brilliantly. AN old toothbrush is handy to get the excess out before doing that, but It’s so easy.
It is shaped nicely too, so it doesn’t end up being just the middle head doing all the shaving when on the crown of my head, so that means less irritation. I have to admit, the only area where it isn’t perfect is the closeness of the shave. It’s really good, don’t get me wrong, but I do have to go over some areas a couple fo times to get a good shave. It works fine for my whole head too, so face included, meaning I don’t need two devices.
The battery life is excellent. I can get 2 or even 3 weeks’ worth of shaving on one charge, so no complaints there. It charges over USB so any decent charger will work. It has nice digital display telling you the battery percentage. One feature I really like is the ability to lock the shaver by holding the button down until the number counts down from 3. That way, it won’t start shaving while in a bag or suitcase.
I am so pleased with this shaver; I will be throwing away all my other ones.
I haven’t used an electric shaver for years but thought I’d try again with cheap product in case it didn’t work for me.
Cheap the DoAO may be, but it’s a remarkably excellent shaver. Light, robust, easy to clean and a close shave. Best of all, I fully charged it and after daily shaves for three weeks it’s still going!

Excellent Shaver, only used once so far but very happy with how easy it is to charge, clean and the magnetic head blade part detaches and reattached with incredible ease.
The Shave itself was very good and gave a consistent finish all over my bonce, although i probably did overdo it shaving for a good 20 mins when 10 may have done, but this was due to other shavers being underwhelming in the past.
I have no doubt this will continue to serve me well for years to come. If you are looking for a very close shave (as close to bald as you can get) this is a must buy!
So i took a punt and bought a second one, and got a refund for the first broken one. Firstly the returns and refund on this item was easy and hassle free. Cost me nothing to return and the funds were back in my account when amazon said it would be there.
I am happy that i bought it again, as the second one has been working without any issues. Works better than other shavers that I have used. It give a nice close cut, that sometimes i do not bother to go the extra step to wet shave. It does not irritate my skin, it moves smoothly across my head and when it comes to cleaning it, it is just a simple matter of popping off the blades in one piece, shake it under the tap and done.
The housing that holds the blades in is magnetic and holds on to the body of the shave well when in use. Battery life seems to be good. I can normally get 5-6 head shaves out of it before recharging.
No problem telling people to buy this. For the price it seems sound.
