I needed a new rucksack for an 18 inch laptop, picked this one based upon the reviews.
Was not disappointed. To confirm, this fits an 18 inch laptop perfectly. HOWEVER, the bag will be somewhat larger as a result. Expect to be weighed down a little more than usual.
There are numerous sections, small and large. The laptop section is reasonably padded, although personally, I would have liked to see a little more external protective padding, given the bag is much larger and has more space.
There could have been some padding between the laptop section and the adjoining compartment, but it lacks this padding , so need to be careful what you put in the adjacent compartment.
There are multiple smaller pockets within each section. makes it easier to store cables and smaller items without ending up with a mess at the bottom of the bag.
There are also a couple of smaller pockets on the outside, but these are not closed, so would not put anything secure in these .

Excellent work bag. Lots of spaces to put things even an area to safely attach keys! USB port to charge areas for battery packs too. Areas for drink bottles laptop /tablet . Really pleased would highly recommend great value for money comfortable very portable
I bought it for my son as a school bag. It is very spacious and he finds it very comfortable to carry. I imagine it would also be great for travelling.
This backpack is hard wearing and looks like it should last a long time. It has a lot of pockets that is useful to separate into compartments different items you need to take out with you. It’s large capacity means it can hold a lot of items. Very pleased with purchase.
Just what I needed, really spacious main section with the other sections having ample room too. Plenty of small pockets for smaller items. Looks good and is made with a strong outer fabric so feels like it will be durable great performance for good few years. Not been out in rain with it yet so cannot comment on that.
The other few are soo roomie. This bags pockets have pockets. I suspect this will make an excellent travel bag for even long haul trips. Could fit tonnes of clothes and toiletries and books in there and still have space.
The secret pocket at the back is a nice touch to hide important documents and whatever you fancy. Will be great to put an ice pack in summer there.
Straps are thick, well padded and very adjustable.
Opens out flat for convenience.

I had an almost identical, but slightly smaller bag like this which needed to be replaced. I travel a lot and like to use my personal bag to supplement my other baggage allowances, so I thought I would get the slightly bigger bag this time. When I first saw it, I thought it looked too big to get away with it as a personal carry on item, but is does have side straps which allow you to pull it together into a smaller format. It does fit a lot in it if you need the capacity. I calculated that it would hold more than my actual carry on if fully expanded, which is useful if you’re not flying budget, or you want to stock up in duty free. Couple of issues with it were the shoulder straps, which are made from a material that gives little grip, if like me, you like to carry it on one shoulder and the zip pullers don’t look the strongest. It was a good price, time will tell. On balance, very pleased with it.
