Gaming on the go it’s never easy when you have to travel with the whole dock. This is a great idea for an alternative that let you use all the functionality of the original dock. It’s small and safe spaces. Personally, I used a refurbished dock from Nintendo to get the main components. The assembly instruction are a little confusing. There’s sometime ask you to remove pieces which are included in the kit, so make sure to watch it fully before starting the disassembly. Both regular and OLED models work perfectly with this.
Un producto de muy buena calidad, destaco que s se siente la diferencia en cuanto a que no se calienta tanto como cuando la usaba acoplada al dock original.
Lo unico medianamente complicado fue el desarmar el dock original para extraer la placa, de ahi en ms todo es super intuitivo en el armado, an as el video tutorial en la pgina de eXtreme Rate result de bastante ayuda.
I looked up the YouTube video by extremerate. It was the perfect visual manual. I bought a refurbished switch dock and refurbished adapter from Nintendo to make my desk/travel dock. (I kept my original to stay plugged into my TV.)
I disassembled the dock and assembled the extremerate dock all in one go, following the YouTube video step by step. It works fabulously and takes up very little space compared to the original dock!!! Now I can travel with it or leave it on my desk. I recommend getting sticker tweezers or very fine-pointed tweezers if you’re particular about sticker placement, like I am.
The kit comes with everything you need (tools and parts) AND extra pieces in case you lose them. Definitely take your time with this so you don’t skip steps or misalign some part. Once you snap the covers into place, it’s hard to disassemble. So, be sure!!
Una nuova scocca che sostituisce quella della dock della Switch totalmente, pur senza togliere ad essa alcuna caratteristica. Stile molto pi bello dell’originale, spazio decisamente ridotto. Nel pacchetto sono presenti due diverse mascherine per le porte, da scegliere a seconda che usiate la dock classica o quella della versione OLED.
L’unico problema forse la necessit ad abituarsi ad una maggiore attenzione quando si inserisce la console, perch questa deve fare bene contatto. Tuttavia in nessun caso questa scocca graffia o danneggia la Switch.
Procedura di montaggio un po’ complessa e lunga, ma niente di trascendentale. Tuttavia, la farei comunque eseguire ad un adulto, perch il rischio di danneggiare qualcosa c’. Tale procedura comunque reversibile.
Man muss, wenn man die Switch mit einer Schutzhlle verwendet, den Gummischutz am Ende weg lassen. Sonst hat die Switch keinen richtigen Kontakt mit dem USB-C-Stecker.
Der Zusammenbau war ziemlich einfach. Zwar habe ich auch ein bisschen Erfahrung mit Basteleien, aber das hier ist relativ einfach. Man muss nichts lten oder so. Das ist eine gute Arbeit, um sich mal mit solchen Arbeiten vertraut zu machen, bevor man komplizierteren Dingen gegenbersitzt.
Der einige Nachteil hier ist, dass man die JoyCons nicht mehr einfach mit einer Hand rein schieben kann, weil dann die Switch zur Seite kippt. Also dran gewhnen, dass man beide Hnde bentigt.
Ein Nachteil, der definitiv in Kauf zu nehmen geht. Dafr bekommt man was vernnftiges.
Die Anleitung auf Youtube ist sehr gut. Damit sollte es jeder hin bekommen, der einen Daumen hat und einen Schraubendreher bedienen kann.
Muy buen producto, reduce el tamao del dock original en un 80%. Pero hay que tener cuidado al cambiar la placa del original a este. Es un buen proyecto, pero s hay riesgo de dejar inutilizable un dock.

Ich bin wirklich beeindruckt von dem “eXtremeRate AiryDocky fr Switch”. Das kompakte Design macht es extrem portabel und bequem fr unterwegs. Es ist erstaunlich, wie leicht es ist, meine Switch-Konsole in diese Dockingstation einzusetzen und aufzuladen. Das kleine Design bedeutet jedoch nicht, dass an Qualitt gespart wurde. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig und robust, und ich habe das Gefhl, dass es sicher ist, meine Konsole darin aufzubewahren.
Der Preis ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Im Vergleich zu anderen Dockingstationen auf dem Markt bietet der “eXtremeRate AiryDocky” ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhltnis. Ich habe das Gefhl, dass ich hier eine hochwertige Funktion zu einem erschwinglichen Preis bekomme.
Die Tatsache, dass sich das Dock nicht berhitzt, ist ebenfalls bemerkenswert. Ich konnte meine Switch problemlos aufladen, ohne mir Sorgen um berhitzung machen zu mssen.
As one of many that’s invested substantially in the Switch ecosystem, I have an Oled and an old Dock. And although the Oled fits, it’s tight, and the anti-scratch pads I had in place were coming off the Dock.
This was such an easy process, though I do recommend using a tutorial if it’s your first try, as I did.
It just highlights the wasted space of the official Dock, which was probably just to give it more of the ‘home console’ look anyways.
Well worth it, compatible with docks oled and og, and it looks as official as Nintendo’s docks, with the same black/white with gloss trimming.
This is a brilliant dock enclosure, and the video on their YouTube channel makes it really easy to build.
I couldn’t fit my Switch in my TV unit because of the height needed to lift it out of the dock, and now it’s just right.
The dock is a little bit light, meaning you have to hold it still to take the Switch off, but I superglued a load of pennies to the inside of the top housing, and now it couldn’t be better, you can remove the Switch with one hand just like the original dock.
Brought this for its compact size but i am overwhelming imoressed ! Beautiful little kit it is. I used an original switch dock to make this instead of pulling apart my limited editon oled dock and works beautifully with any switch ive tried ! Perfect portability without the worry of potentially bricking your device using others brand docks
I was expecting that nasty cheap plastic for the shell but it was very nice and high quality, though the little IO backplate did feel a bit cheap. The screwdriver that came in mine was broken and unusable but I had my own so not a big deal. There’s an online video showing every stage of how to deconstruct the original Switch dock to remove the required boards and how to reassemble inside the new dock shell, so it was a relatively easy job. Just take your time and you’ll be fine. Now I have a small and portable dock that I’m 100% sure won’t brick my switch. My only complaint would be that I can barely see the LED on this case, if there are lights on in the room you won’t see it at all. But that’s an aesthetic thing and otherwise it works and looks flawless.
Muy fcil de cambiar los componentes de tu antiguo dock de nintendo a este nuevo, la calidad de los materiales se ve muy bien y se siente igual, compre el transparente y quedo muy bien no se siente flojo.
Lo recomiendo al 1000% si ya no quieres tener ese dock feo de nintendo

-utilizas las piezas de tu antiguo dock, as que no daaras tu switch con cargadores terceros.
-facil instalacin.
-viene con todas las herramientas necesarias en la caja (tornillos, desarmadores, shell, etc).

-que no supe de este dock hasta que me contaron de l. 🙁

Qualitt:
Das Gehuse der Station ist stabil und robust. Alles zum Zusammenbauen war dabei. Es dauerte allerdings ziemlich lang bei mir, bis ich alles fertig zusammengesetzt hatte. Alle Einzelteile sind gut verarbeitet und passen ineinander. Ein rundum toller Ersatz =)
Fazit:
Nach dem etwas friemeligen Zusammenbauen, bin ich doch sehr zufrieden mit dieser DIY Station fr meine Switch. Hier ist allerdings wichtig zu wissen, dass man nur umbauen sollte , wenn man versichert ist, da man manche Originalteile nutzen muss. Fr den Zusammenbau selbst, hat der Hersteller auf seiner Seite das ganze als Anleitungsvideo verlinkt.
