Quality material with an overall very solid feel. Definitely recommended if you need to freshen up a controller. Keep in mind that it comes with generic buttons and analog sticks, so you might want to clean up and salvage your old ones when you’re swapping everything out – if that’s the kind of thing that bothers you. My only major complaint is the tolerance issue requiring a small piece of paper being put into the stick cavity to bring it up to height (as illustrated in tutorials). Not for sure why that’s a thing, but it is.

100% recommended for those comfortable with doing controller/retro gaming equipment teardowns and reassemblies.

    Quality material.

The x and y buttons are a bit clickier than a regular GameCube controller but everything feels relatively the same. The slide on r and l trigger is a little bit different but overall it is a quality product and probably just needs some breaking in. Very simple to install. Everything you need is included.
