an excellent charger for your EV seems to be good quality and it is easy to use you just plug it in and it works much cheaper than buying one from BMW
What can I say , it’s a brilliant bit of kit.
At 8 metres it’s long enough to plug straight in options for lower amp if using extensions, very impressed by it.
To be honest after using it I felt I could have got away with just installing a waterproof external socket and plugging it in after using the car it’s good enough to be able to do that
It’s rated at about half a fixed charging supply but that more than enough to keep you charged for just running around locally
Even just to keep in the car if your having a weekend away it’s well worth it
Just cannot praise this enough for how convenient it is
This fits and works great with my Tesla 3. No issues whatsoever with great charging speed. It’s a high quality super thick cable that is well protected but also flexible. Would recommend!
In short this is a great device for home charging, but especially for when away from home. Easy 5 stars from us!

The second thing was the thickness and strength of the cable, compared to my previous EV charger.
Also on comparison with my previous Type 2 EV charger, this has rubber dust caps attached to the end of the charger where my previous didn’t.
The cap protect the pins and stop dust and debris from entering the charging points.
A generous 5 metre cable with a waterproof rating of IP55 makes this suitable for charging outdoors in all weather conditions.
Included with the Type 2 charger is a storage bag which can be stored in the boot of the car and on hand whenever it is needed and near a mains electrical socket.

I am a novice on electric vehicles but since I was looking for a capable, well built and reasonably long charging system without having to use extension leads, this cable seamed to fit the bill.
Easy to use and so far working beautifully.
According to OH, this is a nice portable charger. Stores in a bag that’s easy to carry around. Great for a little extra ‘security’ in case an impromptu charge up is needed (who doesn’t worry with an EV?!). This has 5m length cable which is fine, though you can pay a little more and get slightly longer if needed. Do check this is compatible with your vehicle. Really easy to use. Has adjustable current (make sure and check this if you’re using with an extension cable) and does a decent job of charging at a reasonable rate.
Most EV chargers tend to be a guessing game in terms of how much it’s using and when it’s going to be finished. This however includes an LED display that shows me all i need to know and is fully adjustable to any power type. This includes a range from 6 to 8 and10 to13A. This charges at a decent speed and has so far been very reliable and sturdy with no problems. The price reflects the quality of this EV charger, But i would not want to compromise on quality, So this is definitely an investment worth having.
