This barrow is not only sturdy but can carry a large amount compared to other barrows..one slight flaw is the tyre is very thin and I had a puncture so in all honesty it needs to have a solid tyre for durability.
Worthy of owning. The straight wheel bar works for parking the barrow on its nose. My suggestion is to put some tape over the holes in the handles to stop rain getting in when it’s parked like that.. Nose down, handle up.
Plastic barrow is sturdy. I’ve used it for large fire wood and it’s good.
Very pleased. Glad I went for this and not the cheaper metal shallow barrows
I can recommend this product and the seller. I thought parts were missing but I am a mechanical numpty. On closer inspection and contacting the seller I realised that the wheel spindle was threaded and it bolted to the wheelbarrow directly and not to a bracket DOH! Y
The seller was helpful, prompt and patient. All the holes lined up and it was fairly easy to assemble. The exploded diagram could have written instructions to help but that’s nit picking. If I can assemble it by myself anyone can. Highly recommend.
The wheelbarrow arrived on time it was easy to assemble . It looks strong enough for garden use , I loaded it up with stone and it handled that well tipping easily.
Bought this to replace an old cheap barrow on which the metal framework had cracked in several places leaving it very unstable. This one appears to be much more robust (thicker frame struts) and yet still light enough and easy to manoeuvre. The pneumatic tyre makes it much less prone to spilling when carrying heavy loads along a bumpy path and gives a nice smooth ride. Straightforward to put together although it would be easier with two people when tightening the bolts that are deep inside the barrow container. Have already carted around ten barrowfuls of garden soil and was able to control the unloading by tipping it onto its “nose”. I’m very pleased with this purchase.
Absolute pain in the backside to assemble as the holes don’t line up exactly and one of the frame bars came a bit bent, but the barrow is sturdy and functional. The bin came a bit scratched up too but it does the job and can carry 100kg with no problem. Not pristine, but think it’s worth it on the whole given how much cheaper it is than in shops
Quite easy to assemble although two of the countersunk screws (Allen key hexagon bolts) were a little tricky to fit. Imagine barrow frame is like an “A” frame in plan view – the forward transverse plate joining the tubular parts forming the wheel fork is angled and has dished apertures for receiving the countersunk Allen bolts so that when fastened the plastic basin is pulled into the dished part so that the Allen bolt sits flush with the interior surface of the plastic basin. However until the plastic basin is so pulled in by the fastened Allen bolt, the Allen bolt presented through an aperture in the barrow basin does not emerge sufficiently through the dished aperture in the transverse plate to apply the hex, nut, flat washer and spring washer. After half an hour or so of not succeeding with parts supplied, I solved this by substituting a 10mm A2 stainless nylon insert M10x1.5mm pitch “lock nut” for each hex nut and dispensed with the flat washer and spring washer. Great capacity light weight barrow now ready for use and looks great.
