Nice pack of interesting and good quality skincare in a funky neon-coloured pouch. I tried Grown Alchemist products first about a year ago and I’m slightly addicted to their shower gels and handwashes because they’re not quite like anything else I’ve tried with unique textures and authentic and unexpected fragrances. In fact I’d say they’re one of the few skincare companies offering products that are notably different to the average, they seem to go their own way.
This pack has a really nice face wash that’s got the same super-slippery but cleansing texture of their hand and body wash and is a nice compliment to those. There’s also a tube of lip balm that’s very concentrated and waxy and should last for ages, even though it looks like small tube at first. The facial masque really does leave your skin feeling different and the day cream is a nice protective follow-up.
The only product I can’t vouch for is the sunscreen because at this time of year we’re lucky to see much daylight let alone actual sun. It’s just a tiny tube though so probably best kept for that odd weekend in the sun, if you’re that lucky. Otherwise the Grown Alchemist range is really worth trying and this pack is a good introduction.
Although the items you receive here are relatively small/travel sizes – you’re still getting a good bargain as these products separately are rather expensive. A great variety of skincare goodness that work well for dehydrated skin.
Great pack of sample products from this expensive range for you to try each one out without buying the larger packs.
Even though they are samples they are much larger than usual samples – some of them could be full size really.
Each of the products smell lovely and go into the skin really nicely, no oily or powdery residues.

First of all, this is a nice set.
i have tried bits and pieces from this brand before and liked every single product.
this time it is not an exception.
both the cosmetics products are good and the quality of the carrier bag is good.
the set is good-looking, well-packaged, and carefully selected.
it looks like you are getting just enough and maybe above for advertised the price.
Equally, it can be a nice gift too.
I like the scents of each of the included skincare products.
I got this as a gift for my wife and it certainly is nicely giftable… with one small, yet I feel, significant note.
The Grown Alchemist products are stored in a transparent, vivid yellow, zipped bag that doubles as an overnight bag. I think it looks really great. What I’m not so keen on though is that the price tag is an integral part of the cardboard sleeve that surrounds the bag. It might be good to show what value you are getting, but it’s probably not if you are planning on gifting, “Look how much I spent on you!”.
That aside, the Grown Alchemist products are all excellent quality and you get a nice variety of beautifully crafted products, in premium, subtly designed metal tubes and pump bottle.
One other thing you may note in my photos is that a few of the boxes were pretty battered when I first got this. Nothing had leaked, but it did look a bit like someone had opened a few before it had arrived. This I’m sure is simply down to them getting a bit knocked around, but it may disappoint a recipient that they don’t necessarily appear “box fresh”.
Other than that though, it’s a great set and she’s going to love it… I’ll just take the cardboard sleeve off first.
This kit has everything you need to hydrate and nourish your skin, especially in the colder months. The gentle gel cleanser is very soothing without drying out the skin. The hydra-repair day cream is lightweight but moisturising, and it absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue. The lip balm is amazing, it smells like watermelon and vanilla and makes lips feel soft and glossy. The natural sunscreen SPF30 is a bonus, it protects my skin from the sun and doesn’t leave any white cast. The deep cleansing facial mask is my favourite, it detoxifies and purifies my skin, leaving it smooth and radiant. This kit is worth every penny, it lasts a long time and the products are high quality and natural. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to pamper their skin and give it some TLC.
This is great kit for travelling – everything you may need (maybe apart from the mask). The products smell just lovely however I’m not used to this type of packaging for creams or masks. Because of this I often end up squeezing up too much.
I really like the day cream – it moisturises well and leaves the skin nice and soft. However I’m not loving the lip balm – a bit too sticky for me and again not a big fan of this packaging here. The mask, the face wash and SPF are all okay.
Well put together selection of products from Grown Alchemist. If you are new to the brand this selection of products is ideal for trying out as the set contains a good range of products which consist of a gentle everyday cleanser for all skin types, lightweight hydrating day cream, glossy lip balm, natural sunscreen SPF30 and a deep cleansing face mask. So far i have used the cleanser which is perfect for my skin and left my skin feeling very refreshed and toned and hydrated. I have also tried the lipbalm which is lovely with a watermelon and vanilla flavour and great for soothing dry lips during the winter months. The products are presented in a lovely see through orange plastic case but the carded price sleeve isn’t that great if you are gifting as the recipient would know the value of the gift so this may have to be removed prior to gifting.
I really like the Thirsty Skin Kit! It’s a great value for the price, and the products are all very good quality. I have combination skin, and all of the products have worked well for me. The cleanser is gentle but effective at removing dirt and makeup. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or tight. The day cream is lightweight and hydrating, and it doesn’t clog my pores. The lip balm is glossy and moisturizing, and it leaves my lips feeling soft and smooth. The sunscreen is easy to apply and doesn’t leave a white cast. The face mask is deep cleansing but not irritating, and it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean.
I’m a big fan of grown alchemist and I have used quite a few of their products before but not any of their skincare so this was a really nice kit to try out their range.
It’s great for travel and the bag it comes in is definitely going to be used on my next trip away.
The biggest product is the facial cleanser which is 200ml it has a super fresh, zesty sweet scent and is great to use in the morning or after you have taken off your makeup. It’s super gentle on the skin and leaves it feeling clean without drying it out.
The next biggest is the day cream (65ml) which usually retails for 35 so you’re basically paying for the cream and getting everything else free. It smells really good, sinks into the skin straight away and really helps to keep the skin hydrated throughout the day. It’s probably my favourite product out of everything in the kit.
The deep cleansing mask (20ml) is great for cleaning out your pores without stripping the skin and making it feel really tight.
The lip balm (12ml) has a vanilla watermelon scent/flavour and is probably my least favourite in the kit because you do need to use your finger to apply it and squeezing it out of the tube is annoying to get just a small amount. It is a good lip balm though, I just wouldn’t repurchase this product.
The sunscreen is nice and for it being zinc oxide based it isn’t too chalky and leaves the skin looking dewy. You might not like it if you do have a darker skin tone. It works well under makeup as well and doesn’t cause it to pill or rub off.
Overall this is very good value for money as you get three full size products, two travel size and the bag all for the price of one of the full size products.

The set comes with 5 skincare products and features Gentle gel facial cleanser(200ml), Hydra Repair Day cream(65ml), Deep Cleansing Facial mask (20ml), Natural Hydrating Sunscreen SPF30 (10ml) and Lip balm (12ml). I was first introduced to this brand last year and I’ve already tried most of the products in this set. The only new thing for me is the clay mask.
The gel cleanser is amazing. It feels nice and luxurious on the skin and is very easy to wash off. The area feels clean and soft after use. The day cream is so hydrating without greasiness or heaviness. Really lightweight but packs a moisture punch. Once you put it on, it immediately melts into the skin and gets absorbed. The sunscreen has a really light feel, unlike those sunscreens you wear whereby you cannot wait to take it off. It absorbs easily into the skin and leaves a non-greasy finish. It can also be used as a daily moisturiser. The lip balm is a thick balm but spreads easily and leaves lips feeling softer and moisturised. My lips have been quite dry lately so this has helped. The clay mask is great for pore uncloging and a deep clean. My face felt soft, fresh and glowy afterwards.
Overall, this is an amazing gift set to treat yourself or as a gift for a skincare lover.
I have been using Grown Alchemist products for a good while. I have been very impressed by their quality and performance, with the only downside being that they tend to be a little expensive – particularly if you buy a single product in isolation.
I have had mixed kits from Grown Alchemist too – and that is a better value option. The quality is still there, but the kits represent far more appealing value.
This thirsty skin kit is another winner.
There is a great selection of products and the quality is impressive. While 42.46 is not exactly loose change, you do get an awful lot for your money – and every product performs like a premium product, so it delivers value too.
Whether you are buying this to pass on as a gift, or as a travel pack, or simply to treat yourself to a range of quality skincare products, this meets the brief.
A complex set ideal for traveling or especially to be given as a gift considering the packaging in which it is delivered. For those who still wonder if this is original, each container came sealed, so without a doubt they are the right thing.
The lip gloss has a delicious fruity aroma, I feel like eating it off my lips, and the lips shine hydrated for hours, I apply it alone but also on top of lipsticks.
The sun protection cream has a shiny finish, but not a pleasant smell, but a rather heavy one. The mask has a creamy, clayey texture, pleasant smell, it does not remain in a thick layer on the skin, only a whitish trace, it dries quickly in just 2 minutes, and after rinsing the skin is squeaky clean.
The moisturizing cream is the one that can be found in the largest weight among the tube containers, it is amazing, penetrates the skin more difficult but once it enters the skin actually changes its appearance, it instantly becomes much brighter and the skin smooth, the perfume is a floral-oriental one in my opinion.
The cleanser is in a large, regular size, I really like that, it has a gel texture that quickly foams in contact with water, deeply cleans any traces of makeup and the dominant note is the rose flower.
Overall, it’s a luxury set, top quality that includes all the care needs of a woman in a small package, I can’t but give it 5 stars, I recommend it with great confidence.
I am in love with these products!
My skin is combination – I tend to get an oily t-zone and dry cheeks.
Firstly, I love the packaging – it’s sleek, simple and the tube products are sealed by foil, which you break with the point in the lid.
The face wash is full size and smells divine. After one use my skin felt clean, smooth and soft.
The moisturiser is also full size, has a subtle fragrance and say well under my makeup.
The lip balm is full size and again smells divine and e at ly how you would expect watermelon and vanilla to smell. I love the sheen it left on my lips and how soft and smooth it made them look and feel.
I will repurchase all of the above!
