At first I was very impressed with this product – so much so that I bought another 2 items from iegeek for a whole system but, last week the solar charging panel stopped charging the camera and despite doing refreshes and deleting the camera and app it was obvious to me that the product was broken. I was very disappointed as I love the iegeek products
*** Update ***
Not only did this wonderful company refund me for the product but, they replaced it free of charge due to my terminal disease. I cannot be more thankful for their compassion and interest in completing my full system by ieGeek.
I have bought many cameras over the years with having to run cables all over the house but no more this I geek solar camera is ideal the battery life lasts a long time saving time and energy to recharge I was that impressed I bought another one for my rear garden totally recommend this camera
Not the easiest item to set up but got there in the end. Camera has excellent quality pictures, but was disappointed that I can’t view continuous footage – only footage from an alert unlike the previous much cheaper camera I had. All in all though a great camera at a good price.
Purchased for my international home. First issue, it would not for pair with my phone. For some reason the next day it decided to connect. Fine once it was connected. 2nd issue, now I’m back home, it appears to lag very badly, the cameras moves position way after ive moved it, or when I haven’t instructed it too and I check it, it’s facing the wall! Very frustrating. Incant seem to be able to change the time zone as its showing the wrong times.
Doesn’t really pick up anything unless it’s right underneath the camera, but picture quality, day and night is much good! Sound quality is also good, can hear conversations happening! Over all a good purchase
My camera had an issue with charging port. Raised with iGeek support team who responded immediately and sent a replacement device within a few days. Excellent service and great product.
I decided to buy this camera due to its features, with the WiFi connection and solar charging no need to drill holes all the way through the wall for power.
Easy to connect with the app, all working well so far no complaints.
I would buy again if needed.

The only thing better than the product is the support!
I’ve owned loads of CCTV cameras over the years, but these are amazing!!
The image quality in SD is good, but in QHD is absolutely perfect.
The wireless reception is fantastic and the battery life is awesome – top that with a solar panel which keeps the battery full (even on dull days) and you have a winning package.
I now own 6 iegeek cameras (including a door bell) and I haven’t looked back once.
The cameras work on 2.4ghz WiFi, which is the standard (and has a longer range than 5ghz) so perfect for pretty much every router on the market that supports wireless connections.
The night vision is very good, with integrated LED lights that give a daytime-like appearance.
I use the Cloudedge app, that offers both a free and paid tier. I pay monthly and it only costs me 12 for all my cameras via PayPal and this makes sure that all the triggers are sent to the cloud.
There is the option of fitting a microSD card in, but I haven’t bothered with it as the cloud service is great.
3 of us in the house have the app and are able to view the cameras 247 and all of us receive alerts when triggers are detected.
You have the option of either full motion sensor activation or humanoid detection. I have the back house cameras on humanoid (stops picking up the wildlife) but the front cameras on all motion trigger mode, which works very well.
Simple to setup and easy to use. Robust in all weather conditions.
I had one small issue with one of the cameras and the support team were absolutely brilliant and so professional and made sure I was happy and did everything they could to sort the issue, which was resolved in the end.
Thank you iegeek.
Also, for what its worth, I am a Robotics engineer so did my homework before purchasing these and recommend them highly.
CCTV Camera installed without issue as instructions clear, camera works well and is responsive in relation to alerts received via app
The app is also efficient and easy to manoeuvre
Really please with purchase and will be getting another camera for rear of property
Thanks
Really easy to set up and install. App is easy to follow. Great clarity on the camera when using 5MP (even at lower res) and particularly at night when the onboard light kicks in. Waiting for better sunny weather to determine if the solar panel works to charge the camera, but the battery lasts a fair while.
I researched wifi cameras for quite a while before deciding on purchasing this one. The positive reviews were a big factor in me choosing this one. I’m impressed with the build quality. It’s feels a sold piece of kit. The picture quality is good, and being able to move and pan the image is a nice feature. I like the 4 camera view on the app, but it would be good to have more, maybe 6. I woudl recommend and have purchased more.
Good camera, easy to set up with clear instructions. No wires through walls so can be fitted anywhere so long as it’s within WiFi range and solar panel keeps it charged. Clear night vision with added bonus of lights so will record in colour. App for control is easy to use once you are used to it, and will also control camera movement. A couple of friends have already ordered their own after seeing mine in use.
Most features that come with this cctv is great and it does work but it doesn’t have continuous recording or tracking and encryption is not up to standard. It does the job.
The camera has good features, works well on the app although there is a a slight delay on notification. Holding full charge with the solar panel connected. Sound quality is pretty poor.
Picture quality is good.
I absolutely love the fact that you can rotate the camera and its range is simply incredible.
Couldn’t be happier with this product.
Hesitant before purchasing this at first as Ring is a good competitor and a popular option in the UK.
Glad I did though, picture quality in day and night is superb, can set a floodlight to come on at night when motion is detected, can change between black and white night vision or full colour or even an intelligent option that switches between the two when motion is detected.
I have a dog and when he’s in the back Garden the camera does not record him so this is a bonus as I didn’t want constant alerts, the options to change sensitivity of detection is also prevelaint should you wish or need to alter.
When fitting I just put the two brackets up against the brickwork and marked the holes and used a masonry drill bit to put the screw plugs in, then placed bracket over holes and use a screwdriver to secure the brackets to the bricks, then your camera just slots onto the bracket and is fastened using 4 screws that are turned by hand making it easy to pull of the bracket and charge inside should you need to.
Obviously I went with the solar panel but maybe in winter I’ll have to do this and it’s so easy.
Really good but of kit.
As it is solar powered it is only set to record when motion is detected. I did need to buy an SD card separately to enable recording to take place. There is an option to purchase ‘cloud storage’ via the app. but this is not something I have tried.
Installation was easy as there was no need to drill holes through walls to get to a power supply. A simple bracket was attached to the wall (fixings included) and then the unit slotted onto the bracket.
Day time picture quality is very good with night-time vision being very acceptable. I wanted to be able to view the whole of the back of the house and garden and so the camera is mounted some distance from the house, even at this distance the night vision still lets me see everything reasonably clearly.
Unlike my other cameras, via the app I can also pan the camera left and right as well as up and down to view all around the garden which can be useful.
