I was shown this product by my daughter and just had to buy to use with my grandchildren. So easy to use and wash and so versatile with your own choice of flavours. Grandchildren loved them and I loved the price!
They seal well and are easy to push up when eating. There is also a recipe card that comes with it. The only downfall is that if you’re making a yoghurt/fruit based product, the seeds can get stuck at the bottom so they need a bit of an aggressive wash to get to the bottom but using hot water and squeezing the sides clears it out. Would recommend to anyone who wants to make the change to a reusable product.
These are good as my toddler is obsessed with ice lollies and I can make them out of squash so it’s actually just a drink, the teen also makes them out of tango or other fizzy drinks. Not it’s intended purpose but my toddler also loves matching the colours to the lids and taking them on and off
They don’t leak no matter how much the kids turn it upside down! Great moulds and do the job well. The range of colours are helpful to avoid mix ups.
As expected. No spilts on the seams like I’d seen in some or the reviews. Very pleased with them and the lids do well to hold the mixture in without spilling
Great item. Easy to use and clean, and because they stay flexible, it’s easy to ‘break the seal’ between the frozen lolly and the mould.
I just poured liquid in and froze – the lollies came out solid dense ice which wasn’t great, nothing like the Calypo’s I was trying to mimic. After 2 minutes Googling I saw that alcohol lowers the freezing point and that you could add cornstarch to stop it freezing so solid. I didn’t have corn starch so I used what I had, corn flour. I just use a little cornflour along with a dash of Disaronno (the only alcohol I had in the house!) and shake with whatever juice I’m using to mix. Now they come out nice and ‘flaky’, easy to just take apart gently with the teeth. Fantastic.
So easy to use, wash and re-use
Child’s hands don’t get too cold straight out the freezer!
Re fill with whatever you choose then freeze.
Also make good emergency ice packs.
Used these to make smoothie ice lollies with my daughter. They work well, the lid stays on when in the freezer which had been a slight concern and the lollies slide up easily once slightly warmed making for easy eating. The only downside to them is trying to get them completely clean at the base as it’s quite narrow.
Silicone so easy care and malleable so you can squeeze the popsicle out. We’ve done coke ones and cocktail ones so far.
A big pluses for me is the fact that they’re individual and have good lids so you can even lay them horizontal in the freezer.
Tip: don’t fill to the top as they might leak during freezing/expansion.
I saw these at my friend’s house and bought a set as soon as I got home. They are excellent. The kids just pour fruit juice in and can enjoy the lollies. My husband is making cocktail ones this weekend for the grown ups – happy days!
I use these to make ice pops for my teenage son . I was spending a small fortune on ice lollies , but now I fill these from a cartoon of fresh juice and they are a lot more healthy too . Freeze well , wash very easily , leak proof . Highly recommend
Easy to fill and clean. Although som of them do leak with no good reason. I’ve checked all of them before I’ve put them in the freezer . All were filled the same way, not completely filled up in order not to leak so not sure why that is.
The product is good, easy to use and the amount of liquid is enough. The only little detail is the cleaning since is a bit hard to get to the bottom of it (due to the shape) and then I advise to let it dry for at least 24 hours, open and upward position in an place with plenty of air to allow properly drying to the last drop… this will avoid unpleasant smell in the future. But all in all is a good product!
I bought these for toddlers and that was a mistake. They just slide right out in their mighty grips, one shot out just about killed the cat, I don’t like the cat so that’s fine. Absolutely great for adults or anyone with a smidge of strength control. They didn’t leak in the freezer but I did try and keep them propped up. The colours are good and the silicone seems thick. Ended up buying little moulds with handles for the tiny hulks and I enjoy these while they fight over theirs.
I like these, the only slight downside is that they could be a tad bigger. They are flexible, and appear well made. But as new I can’t comment on life span, but I don’t think that it will be an issue. The stoppers fit well and prevent leakage. But take care not to loose them!!!. I like the way that they can be placed in the freezer horizontally or vertically and they don’t take up much room. You can use them to make flavoured ice for drinks and when needed the ice can be taken out of the mould and cut into desired pieces. Would I buy them again, Oh Yes & especially so if they were a little bit larger in size. Come on the Manufacturer, please make them a Tad larger?
These took a while to get to me, but arrived just as I was blending a watermelon so, perfect timing. As you can see from the photo, I stood them in a jug. It made them much easier to fill and to clean up any spills. I washed them by hand before using as recommended but was pleased to note there was no smell, vwhatsoever, even before that.
I checked for leaks and only by tipping it completely upside down and shaking, did the lid start to come loose. I stacked them standing up in the freezer. The bottom part folds over for them to stand on. That slightly confused me as I thought the juice went right to the bottom, but, it all went well & exactly as it should.
They’re not exactly cheap compared to plastic ones but the quality is so much greater it is well worth the difference.
