It’s quite extraordinary how good value this inspection camera is. For 22 you get a camera with a decent backlight, a 1m flexible head, a 10cm display and a rechargeable battery. It works very well as a cheap, useful tool to have around the house.
I needed a device to look into a wall cavity in my bay window area that was getting damp. This camera probe did the job perfectly in showing where water was getting in. Unfortunately the cost of fixing it will be far more than the price of camera.
The whole package was great not used yet but easy to charge once I found an old charger – surprising value is how I would put it ideal for my uses.

This industrial endoscope is a lot of fun! It’s extremely useful too; providing visual access to so many nooks and crannies around the home. I ordered the 1M scope, which is great, but it could definitely be a bit longer. I recommend going for the 5M, or at least the 3M.
It works very well and is easy to use. The scope attaches to the top of the device, and there is a metal strip that lines up to help you connect the pins accurately. I advise using some caution here as they are quite thin and likely to bend easily.
The picture quality is okay – I’m not 100% convinced of the 1080 pixels claimed. It’s certainly clear enough to get a good idea of most situations I can imagine using it for though. You can dim the light too, which is helpful in smaller places where you may get some glare. You can also adjust the contrast and colour, and the most useful thing is the ability to switch the camera around to give you the best view no matter the camera angle.
The scope itself is pretty awesome, you can bend it however you like and it will hold in that shape. Extremely handy, recommended.
It comes well packaged.
You get the main unit with a decent 4.3 inch screen and a sturdy handle. You also get the flexible snake 1080p camera with built in LED lighting that plugs and screws into place to be secured to the screen as well as 3 accessory attachments, 1 hook, 1 magnet and 1 mirror for peering around corners.
The camera works really well in tight spaces as you can push it through small nooks and crannies.
The camera quality, though good, its not great and so can be a little hard to make out what you’re looking at sometimes.
The only use case I’ve had for it so far was looking for my wedding band under the furniture and was able to find it under my bed. Great use case 🙂
At the listed price of (21.99) Its an easy recommendatio
Useful inspection camera for those awkward to reach spaces.
1080p on a 4.3 inch colour monitor, plus B&W mode, enough for most jobs plus a light.
It’s a meter long and can bend and snake around obstacles as expected for this type of tool.
You get 3 handy end tools…Magnet, hook and side mirror included, plus it runs on a 2000mAh rechargeable battery with an estimated 3.5hr runtime.
This doesn’t support fast charging and it is recommended you charge the battery every 3 months or so to keep it in good shape with a low vault 5v, 1A charger.
The image is really good and you have the option to rotate the screen display 180 degrees, which is very handy as you can’t easily adjust to this rotation when in hand in cramped spaces such as an engine bay.
It feels good in the hand and has operational buttons you can control using your thumb. With zoom, brightness, contrast and led light adjustment, you can do about anything required from it.
CONCLUSION:
Aimed at the ametuer DIYer at an affordable price.
This is advertised as a 1080P endoscope and my feeling is that its not actually 1080P, however I also don’t think thats actually a major issue. The image quality is very good for the class of device this is, and theres a variety of adjustments possible to let you tweak the image when you have the item you need to identify lined up. One thing I would like to have seen is a shorter focal distance, you get the best focus at about 20mm from the object, however quite often when trying to identify something where you need a camera like this, by the time you find the item youll be closer than 20mm, and it can get a bit blurry.
The battery life is OK but not great, however its not like you need to be getting 3 hours out of this for trying to locate wires in a wall youve drilled a hole in, or finding a lost fastener down a bore. Charging via USB-C is fast and Ive had no issues with it running flat when not in use. (It arrived fully charged which is always a good sign)
The construction is a mixed bag.. This is a very lightweight Endoscope, the main body is very light plastic construction and theres no way this is IP67 rated. The actual camera and its bendy body feels like its probably IP67 rated and it well constructed.
Theres no way to output to a PC even if you connect a proper USB-C Cable to this it doesnt do video output mode, which I thought it might as its clearly a dashcam type chip inside here, which means theres no way to capture images or video. You get live output on the LCD and thats all. I think thats reasonable in this products cost range.
