Worth the long delivery estimate. I got this within 10 days of ordering. Kids are so excited to use it. It’s massive can easy get a few good size floats in there and numerous children.
when its made its really sturdy ,great value for money (i got it on a deal) ,the last bit to go together was a struggle but got there ,would recommend
Fast delivery amazing isn’t the word out straight up easy to do it’s getting filled up even tho there’s a thunderstorm be ready for tomorrow’s hot weather really happy with it.
Amazing pool, lovey and sturdy – was a little apprehensive at first as have always had steel framed pools, this mostly still is steel only the corner connectors are plastic but still very sturdy, it copes with 18th old lads messing about in it so a great buy 🙂
Easy to assemble 1 hour tops to put together on my own
Used all summer with filter to keep water clean which is important as took 15 hours plus to fill via hose
Emptied at end of summer long slow process especially the last few inches of water from bottom of pool
Dried and cleaned and put away in originall box
Got out this year put together again if anything bit faster than last time as knew what I was doing only to discover halfway through filling it approx 8 hours signs of water leaking from somewhere underneath
I have this on astro turf which I swept and hoover both times before erecting pool so bloody angry that pool is leaking after only one use my only positive is I didn’t pay full price but after 2 years but only one use you are given no opoption to return item
To be fair I also own a Intex 6 ft easy up pool and use this sunny bank holidays as its much quicker to assemble and take down no frame just inflate top ring anf fill with water and have used and reused for many years so may be just unlucky with the Intex pool but having only used once be that use 6 weeks long there should be an option to start a return conversation
Update on earlier Review
I must be fair and update review i have since been in contact with Amazon and after explaining my issues they did in fact agree to a full refund so think it is important this is made clea
In most respects this ‘Prism Metal Frame’ pool is a more upmarket version of its predecessor – the quality is generally better, the design is nicer, the frame poles are thicker and sturdier. However, there is one respect in which the design of this pool is inferior to its predecessor – but this will probably only affect you if you are setting the pool on ground which is sloping slightly.
At this point I need not say that setting up the pool on ground which isn’t perfectly level is not advisable – it is something warned against in the product manual. So it seems unfair to criticise the pool based on its performance on slightly-sloping ground. However, my patio does slope very slightly to allow drainage of rainwater etc and this is the only space I have in which to set up the pool (on top of foam matting).
The previous Intex pool I owned had plastic pins inserted through the top of the frame at the T-joints which prevented the horizonal members twisting inside the T-joint (see attached picture) and ensured that the frame did not ‘skew’. This pool does NOT have those pins and instead relies upon, well… friction. The result is that over the course of about 3 months, the pool has gradually subsided more and more over in the direction of the lower side of the patio as the frame has slowly skewed to this side. Obviously the legs at this side of the pool prevent the pool liner from leaning over beyond a certain point but it looks unsightly and has worsened the visible difference in water levels between one side of the pool and the other. I just wonder why Intex deemed these pins to be redundant on this model…
BOTTOM LINE: Fantastic pool, just make sure it’s on completely level ground!
This was easy to assemble and seems really sturdy. The kids love it, plenty of space to float about on lilos. We’ve got a cover which keeps the water pretty warn and a small chlorine dispenser so no green stuff growing. We are set for the summer, really pleased..
Ideal pool size for teenagers bit on the cold side when filled. Got heater but does not heat the pool to a warm state 3 days to get to 19 degrees. Besides all that excellent pool kids are happy with it and it’s British weather here also.
