This product was insanely easy to install it took about 30 minutes to finish the shell replacement and came with multiple colored buttons for your choice of customization. The product doesn’t feel cheap and actual feels a whole lot better than the original shell. As far as internals I do prefer using the original screws but the replacement screws work fine just be careful not to strip the inserts. Also had a print defect for internal screen double sided holder, it didn’t fit the frame right so it blocked the screen a little more than preferred so just reused the old one and everything was fine. All in all a 10/10 replacement shell!
It looks amazing and real cool. Arrived fast and had all parts to replace from my current handheld. Only issues are two: it’s so glossy its a fingerprint magnet for real. Second is the slot where the game cartridge goes into is super tight. I had to scrap the print off the inside sides to help with that.
I love this shell! The plastic feels high quality and I love the matte texture. However there are some small problems I ran into. One of the screws stripped but considering there are fourteen screws on this thing it’s not a big deal (plus it comes with some extra screws!) I’ve had some bad experiences putting OEM screws in aftermarket shells so I wanted the try the included ones. The screen lens is a tad small for the funnyplaying ips kit but again, not a big deal. And the funnyplaying buttons fit perfectly. Plus I used a funnyplaying battery compartment door which also worked.

The shell is supposed to be ready made for IPs screens, and it is except there was a slight white outline which meant that the cut shell was a little large. The other issue I had was sliding in a GBA cartridge was very tight. And I had to really muscle it to get it out. So after some trimming I was able to get the cartridge to fit better. That shouldn’t be necessary with a brand new shell. Other than that it’s a great looking shell and the finish feels really good in the hands.
I shell swapped many GBA’s years ago and they were very hit and miss quality wise (usually miss).
This shell/case/housing, whatever you prefer to call it, is probably the best quality you can find.
Die Qualitt ist 1a ohne Mngel! Die Hlle fhlt sich absolut hochwertig an und das ist sie auch. Selbst die Kontakte fr die Batterien sind mit dabei. Es wird also alles auer die Platine und Bildschirm getauscht. Absolut top!!! Der Zusammenbau ging ohne Probleme und alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Mein alter Gameboy aus meinen Kindheitstagen erstrahlt wieder in neuem Glanz. Was fr eine Freude!!
Decent replacement shell. My only complaints are that I had to spray the screen area to prevent a Grey spot from showing while looking at the display. However they didn’t spray enough around the lense area, and that area is too big allowing gaps. Use your original screws or find good replacements. The screws sent with it were horrible and stripped while putting the shell together. Hopefully this company can remold their equipment and find better hardware to send. Using included buttons and pads, it feels the same as another GBA, I have sitting next to me for comparison.
And before anyone asks, I ensured that the included glass screen was the same size as the one I installed for a custom look.
