JSAUX Silicone Grip Protection Case Set Compatible for ROG
JSAUX Silicone Grip Protection Case Set Compatible for ROG Ally, ROG Ally Grip Skin, ROG Ally Thumb Caps, Back Button Sticky Pad, Silicone Sleeve Set, Asus Rog Ally 2023 Accessories- PC0201
Q1 . Will the Touch-sensitive Thumbstick Caps wear off its color ?
A1. The Touch-sensitive Thumbstick Caps is made of conductive silicone, enabling it to trigger gyroscopes through capacitive touch. It contains conductive particles inside, and minor color fading is considered a normal occurrence.
Q2 . Is it compatible with Thumbstick Caps ?
A2. Due to the shorter length of the ROG Ally joystick, using Thumbstick Caps and silicone covers simultaneously may cause slight interference, requiring a bit more force to activate the joystick during operation.
Q3 . What is the different between Touch-sensitive and Non-touch Thumbstick Caps ?
A3. The ROG Ally features capacitive thumbsticks that can be activated by Touch-sensitive cover to control gyroscopic aiming, which is a great aid during gameplay. Non-touch thumbsticks do not trigger the capacitive thumbsticks.
Fits pretty snugly but the front near the screen sticks up a bit and just makes it look like its not a good fit. I really didnt want to cover up the back so as not too restrict airflow and too not make it feel more bulky and heavy. This case is thin, comfortable, protective, and non obtrusive. PS it looks great with a clear back plate like from jsaux or handhelddiy.
Everything fits, the back buttons take some prep to get right, just make sure everything’s lined up before fully sticking them, top cover is the only reason I got this, but the grips are super comfy and protecte the ally when setting dow
But the thumbsticks don’t stay on. They fell of as soon as it went into a bag. However the case itself is probably the best for the ally. And it cuts really easy if you have some thing in the way such as a battery bank like I have. : )
The sleeve fits the Rog Ally pretty well and does not cover airflow. The four buttons immediately next to the screen are harder to press because of the sleeve leaving them deeper. The main face buttons are the same, feeling weird because they feel too deep from the sleeve. The slot around the face buttons create a boundary immediately that sometimes makes it hard to press them in. Overall I can deal with the shallow menu buttons and the sleeve itself feels great but the border around the face buttons really feels odd to me.
The thumb grips and m1/m2 back button grips feel great. You will have two back button grips for each side, match the shape and they should place fine.
Last thoughts… I feel like the bumpers and triggers needs their own grips with the difference of the sleeve now. I added the extra back button grips on the triggers (they do not fit perfectly) but it does feel much better.
Great product if you
– remove all the silicone around buttons and sticks like in the picture
I even added a bit of clear CatTougue grip tape under the palm area (under the silicone, attached to the device) to elevate the palm area. That does a ton for me and keeps the device looking clean and comfortable. Was rockin the Skull and Co grip before, but I think I’m going to be using these more often with the alterations. They have some issues out of the box but are easily altered with a pair of scissors.
The fit is very snug. The cutouts leave enough room for thumb sticks and buttons to be pressed effectively. There is just enough rubber padding to fit larger hands. The pads do not cover the air intake, so not heating issues.
The thumb stick and button pads are also well fitted, I don’t see them coming off.
It’s solid case. I’m actually shocked more reviews weren’t done.
