I wanted this purely to make the stick figure man meme in the dark and that worked out well.
I wore it for most of the night to give the kids a laugh as they saw this random stick person walking up and down the corridor and in the garden.
This is a good kit but it obviously had items that I didn’t need for my goal so bear that in mind if you are not looking to make pre set designs.
Very happy with the results though.
These are very nice. My younger sister enjoyed cracking them with me to see how they much they glow, just the Highland summers don’t have so much dark times at night, so we didn’t get to enjoy it for so long, but these were really pretty!
I recently ordered the Glow Stick Party Costume 160 Piece Ultra Bright 8″ Glow Sticks for a party, and it was a hit! The pack includes everything you need for an epic glow-in-the-dark experience, from bracelets and necklaces to glasses, earrings, rings, a cap, and connectors. The glow sticks are ultra-bright and lasted throughout the entire night, adding a vibrant neon touch to our event.
The variety of accessories allowed everyone to get creative with their outfits, making the party even more fun. The connectors were easy to use, and we had no trouble assembling the different pieces. My favorite part was the glow glasses and cap, which were unique and really stood out.
However, I did notice that a few of the connectors were a bit flimsy and broke easily, which is why I couldn’t give it a full five stars. Despite this minor issue, the overall quality and brightness of the glow sticks were impressive.
Overall, this glow stick pack provided hours of entertainment and was a great addition to our party. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to add some glowing fun to their event!
I wasn’t quite sure initially I was going to use these before they arrived but once I saw them I realised that they could be split up amongst the kids so they could wear some on their baseball caps, as bracelets necklaces etc – infact anywhere they chose as they just stick onto the dark clothes.
The pack I received was 160 piece (not 180 as advertised) – some of this is due to reference to 2 bracelets which is actually made of 4 items but it seems the pack I received had 9 less glow sticks? Not hugely different in the end but confusing when trying to do reviews!
I think it would be helpful to have a sheet of instructions on ideas – I hadn’t noticed that the back of the packet had instructions to make the cap for instance (it had got torn trying to get into it) and it would help the kids work out what they wanted to do with them.
Much better than I anticipated and will certainly “brighten up” the twins birthday party!
Have you seen how much they charge at festivals for glow sticks ( I would senfThis set as everything you need to get seen you can make so many different glow costumes the sticks are bright and last for hours you can make everything from a baseball cap to a pair of glasses they are so easy to make just use the connectors and sticks that come in the pack

I love these. Loads of fun to have at a party – especially if there are children. They can really go to town with these as the pack includes loads of glow sticks. You are able to make necklaces, bracelets, rings, ear rings, and more – they even include a glow cap..! One use only but they last a long time. They come with loads of connectors so you can be creative..! Impressive..
In the kit, you get various items, but principally 60 glow sticks and 40 connectors. There is also a hat kit that is designated as free, but it’s really part of the overall value of the kit, in my opinion. For what you get, the set seems to have a reasonable value overall. The sticks come in a variety of colours and are easy to use; you simply snap them a few times along their length for the oxalate / peroxide reaction to start inside and for them to start glowing and its particularly effective in the dark. The sticks are not the longest that I have seen but there is enough length to be practical. I can’t compare the spread of the colours as I don’t have a second kit, but I particularly like the blue ones and would have liked more. The blues are never as bright.
Although marketed as a party costume, the set is limited to elements that can be created using hoops, such as the suggested hat, bangles, or glasses. It is all designed to go over your existing clothes and supplement what you are already wearing. Having said that, it is aimed at use in dark spaces, so the glowsticks do stand out, and with some invention, other items of apparel could be enhanced using the outlining properties of the glowsticks.
Most of the connectors are straight-through ones, and so these restrict the complexity of what you can make with the kit, other than hoops and the few other items included, such as the earrings. It would have improved the product to include more T connectors, such as those found in the hat kit. You do get some sticky labels to glue the sticks to your clothes, so you can become a slick person if the light level is dark enough.
Overall, I think it’s quite a good kit, and while some improvements could be made, you get quite a lot to play with, and the value is good, in my opinion, with the price reasonable for what is included. Once the sticks are exhausted, if you keep hold of the connectors and other elements, then you can simply obtain more sticks and reuse the kit. The included sticks appear to be of standard diameter, and other sticks should work.
There’s so much potential in this kit, wearables, sensory play and night time fun. I’m surprised how much you get in this kit for the price, there’s a lot. Enough for the whole family whatever age. All the pieces you need for connecting the sticks together to make hats, glasses, necklaces, bangles are all included. Easy to crack and light up, but only lasts a few hours, ideal for parties and short events.

Good fun for kids as well as the bigger kids there are two lengths of sticks the shorts ones are making bracelets and the others for making a hat there are some instructions one the back of the bag
Kids love glow sticks. This pack of is great for keeping kids amused at a party or special event. The pack includes a large box of glow sticks plus a number of different fittings and clips which you can use to make shapes and connect different sticks together. The sticks themselves are slim and flexible so they can be bent and shaped very easily. The only downside is because they are so slim they don’t have much of the chemical in that makes them glow so once activated they only last a few hours. Probably enough to last for a kids party but not if you are going to an all nighter!
I recall using much much thicker sticks to these on night scuba dives and they were really so you could be seen at night but not a light in itself. These are very similar but a fraction of the thickness.
However they are great for having fun and they do give a colourful glow but they are not intended to do more than that.
They are simple to use, you just bend them a little and I found just the same as with the diver type, you need to give them a vigorous shake to get the glow evenly distributed.
I was taken aback and gave myself a bit of a fright when I got up in the night and had forgotten about themhalf asleep I saw colourful lights in the room where I had left them.hahaha!
So they do give a good glow for many many hours!
I got a bit confused with the four bendy straws that are transparent and cut through but loosely connected. I thought you had to push a glow stick through them.nah! They are the connectors so you break off a bit and join two glow sticks together with a connector. The rings are for kids as they are quite small but bigger kids even oaps can enjoy the rest!
Lots of fun but they are what they are just glow sticks and not night lights. I love the fact that you have sticky pads to attach them to your clothes or anything else.
Great value for the amount you get and the price.
I say cheap things, though at about eight quid I’m a bit surprised as I’ve seen sets like this in bargain shops for like 1.99.
They work ok, though being thin they don’t contain a lot of the chemical stuff thus don’t last long.
You do get a bunch of stuff in the bag, like connectors and such, and I like the little butterflies and heart thing that you can make glowing fun jewellery out of!
Overall fun I guess, ideal for something like Halloween when the kids want to get all glowed up.
