Love this thing. But you can only do a certain amount of pasta or it will spill over the top. It would be better if it wasn’t half the size of a pot. But would definitely recommend it was exactly what I was looking for.
This is a great gadget, no more food falling out the pots into the sink. Really easy to use for everyone as kids are using it to, quick to use for anything you need from spaghetti to even noodles.
So easy to clean by just tossing in the dishwashe
Everyone one should have this. It makes
Pouring grease into a jar instead of down the drain so easy. The clips are a little stiff so it takes some strong hand strength but isn’t impossible. You will love it. I do. Lol
Pleasantly surprised by how well this works. If the pot is too large or small then it doesn’t work great, but for medium sized pots works really well. Easy to use and clean, does what it is intending to well, was a no regret purchase.
Works great and fits on a lot of different pans perfectly. I often can’t hold a strainer and a full pan at the same time but with this it’s not a problem!
The only slight down side is that the clips that clip onto the pots and pans are just a tad bit difficult to open, I’m ok with it but I imagine someone with arthritis would have difficulty.
Bear in mind also, that it needs to clip onto what may often be a hot pot or pan, so burning is a possibility if you’re not careful.
But it works so well that these two points don’t really matter to me, and I can now get rid of my annoying, hard to clean, overly large colander! 🙂
We use this all the time! I can toss it in the dishwasher and it doesn’t take up a lot of space! We drain water from pasta or rice and the fat from a pan of mince. I think this is one of the good “kitchen gadgets”!
Perfect kitchen tool. Would always burn myself when straining vegetables so this is an absolute lifesaver. I’ve used it on various sized pans from big to small and it does the job every time. Would recommend.
