I purchased this particular set of in ear monitors, as I needed a decent and comfortable pair to wear when playing a set of Roland electric drums and still being able to hear the rest of the band play thier instruments and the vocals. They are not only comfortable, but the sound quality is better than expected, whilst having the ability to swap out the cable should anything happen to it. Over all, they look great and do the job that they where intended for, I am very happy with them and for a medium range pair of in ear monitors, you cannot find better, so I’m sure you will like them too!!
These are insanely good for the money
I’ve stopped using headphones and just use IEMs now and these are the best out of the three pairs I’ve got despite being the cheapes
But the cable isn’t great, it tangles easily and the curved parts that connect to the earbuds curve too far which can be a little annoying. Otherwise, very solid IEMs
I own many pairs of the Chifi head phones and these are absolutely great for the price. The sound is fantastic although they are a little uncomfortable for prolonged use cases.
Good for the job…nice long wire
Fit well to the ear.
My only criticism is theres not enough bass sound and might come across sounding very tinny….
Seem to be hard wearing and used for singing ear monitors and are very well priced.
These earphones are amazing quality, can literally hear all the vocal parts of music i listen to and the instrumentals to. Definitely a lot better quality than most you see on the market. Also is durable and a good fit for the ears (may not be suitable for people with really small ears as these literally JUST fit mine) so be careful of that.
What a superb set of in ears! Will more than suit me for live monitoring when I’m performing. Good frequency response, as my becoming tracks, live guitar and vocals all come through clearly and yet remain warm.
Beautifully packaged and very comfortable to wear
My only concern is connecting and disconnecting the ear pieces at the start and end of a gig as they seem a little fragile…… Probably not but it’s a concern none the less. That said for the price, I really can’t complain.

At any price these are seriously good.
At this price they just are ridiculously brilliant!
Note: They need burning-in and a careful choice of the provided buds termination (see later).
Basically they are monitors but extremely musical, comfortable and, whilst ultra-sensitive to the initial set-up (see later) they are insensitive to further movements which is essential when walking or running around.
I will not go into details here: just a little harsh score in 1/100s on an absolute scale for headphones system up to 500-600 (including matched Dac/Amp).
I am currently listening them after some 8 hours of burning-in (essential) using an iMac and the headphone exit of its Bose 2.1 system. They clearly do benefit greatly from amplification and particularly good recordings (well recorded lossless files with at least 24 bits resolution), but they are fine also with mobile phones and are surprisingly forgiving of bad recordings.
Still I would recommend a Hiby FC1 for a cheap and great improvement.
Scoring – (Note: at their price all the below are 100s)
Bass: 75 – Good extension, depth, details and clarity. Correct balance
Mids: 75 – Great dynamics and tonality.
Highs: 80 – Excellent, precision timing and notably they do not hiss
Sound stage: 70 – Congested with poor recordings but with good sources they shine. The soundstage is reasonably wide and has decent depth
Separation: 80 – Both spatial and instruments separation is quite exceptional at this price and really nice in absolute terms
Dynamics: 70 – With good sources they allow resolving faint voices, noises or notes that would be lost in 97% of systems.
Isolation: 100 – No sound leaks out and outside noises are extremely reduced.
Comfort: 95 – After initial positioning (which becomes very natural quickly), they are extremely stable, the cable is not too disturbing and the canal occlusion does not feel fastidious.
Only bettered by memory cushions earbuds
Note: 1. Run them in for at least 8 hours and 2. choose the ear buds terminations that suite you best. They affect enormously the sound!
They come with three sizes silicone earbuds.
Do not assume to use what you may know by experience from other headphones your natural size.
Tried them all!
Rather than the comfort they greatly affect the sound, like I never experience before.
With the small ones they had no bass and terrible highs. Pretty bad actually.
They were much better with the middle ones, but they really shone with the big ones.
Strangely the comfort was about the same in the three cases.
These are ideal if you want to look like a rock star with the funky ear pieces.
I use these as In Ear Monitors for djing with a wireless transmitter and they’re a game changer!.
Decent bass, clear highs and no distortion, they’re also very comfortable for hours at a time.
The earbuds I originally used were the ones packed with my phone. Those too were solid, but the problem I had was the fact they didn’t have the soft rubber cushioning at on the end of the buds , and since I spend a lot of time working on my laptop I feared the solid ones would change the shape of my earhole, weird I know. They also fell out a lot when I went on walks or jogs which were annoying.
However I can’t stress how these earbuds combat the difficulties and the nitpicks I had with my previous set, these are comfortable, stylish and really good quality, the wire is a good length and the mic has good quality, only problem I had was the static it had when I turned my mic on, might’ve just been me probably. The crystal see-through earbuds are very nice and compliment well with my attire. The hooks for the ears fit well and it felt weird at first but I soon got used to them. I love these earbuds and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a cheap set of good looking earbuds.
Had them for a few hours and already tested them and they are amazing. The bass is incredible, first IEMs for me as a music producer I need an alternative listening method for mixing and mastering, this does it for me!
I’ve never used in ear monitoring before so have just bought a Legato MS-1 to try it out. My hearing is at a stage now where once the band starts going for it I just can’t hear my guitar in the mix. So, I’m hoping that this will sort that problem out. But then come the actual ear buds and what a minefield that is! Again, I didn’t want to spend a fortune only to be disappointed so I read the reviews and thought these sounded reasonable and at less than 20 quid they weren’t going to break the bank.
To say I was disappointed on first listen was an understatement. They sounded cheap and tinny, yeah, like a lot of ear buds in that price range. I couldn’t believe how bad they sounded so I thought I’d better double check whether this was normal with IEMs as opposed to ear buds. One guy gave a list of models and said he found all of them tinny and lacking bass and one of the replies said it sounded more like the guy had a fitting problem than all the IEMs being bad. So, I pushed them quite a bit further into my ears and WOW!
They came alive! The better fit brought out all the bass that seemed lacking before and they sound amazing. Exactly how durable they will be being made of plastic, I’ll have to wait and see but in my experience with ear buds, the wires generally break quicker than the actual ear piece. These are incredible value for money at less than 17 quid. I’ve had Sennheisers and Shure ear buds that cost 10X this and had a similar sound quality and yes, when they packed up it was due to the cables breaking.
I haven’t worn them for a couple of hours on stage yet so I can’t comment on the comfort but they seem okay. Overall, I think they are an excellent entry into the world of in ear monitoring and for the money, they’re very hard to beat. And, I’d rather have these as a set of cheap earbuds to listen to music with than cheap Sony’s anyday!
Excellent sound quality. I can pretty much have the volume on nothing and still hear amazingly. They’re also very comfortable to wear, considering they are quite large. They also cancel outside out very well. Lovely colour too! Just what I needed for online video calls!
Extremely surprised by the sound, mids lack a tiny bit but it still sounds really good. The only problem with this is there is a background hiss but you can’t hear it along as audio is playing.
The headphones sound great and create a very good seal which is useful for blocking out background noise. However, they are a bit more bulky than expected so they can be uncomfortable to wear for long periods.
I’ve spent about the last 30 years looking for the perfect low cost earphone for in ear monitoring and mixing my band while playing keyboards. Decided to give these a try after reading tons of reviews of dozens dual driver earphones. These seem to fit the bill with the majority of reviewers. Seems true though; these have an abundance of clarity, volume and bass (as long as you use the correct sized ear gels). I use massive silicon ear gels from Amazon which give a perfect seal and thus, hefty bass.
Anyway, back to these earphones. Apart from the annoyingly self-tangling lead, these are great. Used them for a gig tonight and noticed much higher frequencies than I’m used to, all with a good deal of bottom end power and punch, with no distortion. Worth getting another pair as backup.
