This little Melissa and Doug sensory toy is one of my baby’s favorite toys. She likes to touch all the different textures and really seems to be attracted to the red color of the strawberry. The toy is very nice overall and has been easy to clean so far. I would highly recommend it.
I know this toy is aged for newborn and older but although it is safe for that age I would say it is more appropriate for minimum three months and really more realistically six months up. Overall the toy is a little bit bulky for tiny hands to grasp. The teether ring on the back of the strawberry is easy to hold but not necessarily for baby to bring to mouth successfully. The front plush layer of the strawberry is puffy and plush but doesn’t give any sensory feedback ( I wish it crinkled, rattled or squeaked). The green leaves at the top of strawberry crinkle but they aren’t as easily grasped as the other parts of the toy.
My favorite thing about this toy is the mirror in the middle! My baby, like so many others, loves to look at herself and this is a great way to have a mirror on the go tethered to her carseat, stroller, etc to keep her entertained. It does have a velcro strap but I find that using a toy tether makes it easier for baby to play with since it gives it some room to move around.
Looks great, baby loves the bright colours. Difficult to clean properly. Has a teether attached but couldn’t really go in washing machine or dishwasher and it would take some drying out if it was hand washed. The ribbons are also fraying. Baby loves it but not sure I would buy again.
My son absolutely loves this toy! It is versatile to keep him engaged, uses bright colors, has a soft and durable material, and would make a great gift for any new mom/baby. I am very happy with this toy!

This soft, fun little plush toy has multiple functions. It attaches easily to a car seat or stroller, and babies can look in the mirror, crinkle the material, or just plain shove it in their mouth (always a favorite with infants!).
This is cute, soft, colorful, I love the mirror. There is crinkly paper in the strawberry tops. The tag is huge, but thats sometimes the case for baby toys, at least it is silky soft. My 4 month old likes this toy, but mostly when I hold it for them to look in the mirror. The teether is great, and has different textures, although I think a lot of those textures are similar to each other.
This is adorable and versatile, the fabric is so soft and brightly colored, the teething ring is very soft and flexible, exactly what a baby needs for chewing, and the mirror is ok. But the velcro on the strap is just one-sided, so I’m going to have to sew a connecting piece of velcro to create a secure hold, or it will be unusable for the stroller or carseat, or it will be lost.
Melissa & Doug multi-sensory peek-a-boo berry toy for infants is colorful, adorable to look at and the fabric used is super soft. It should keep a baby entertained for some time, and I am sure that textured teethers will taste and feel wonderful. I am able to attach this toy to the stroller using the velcro strap for a short 3 inch attachment or, if I want a longer attachment of 6 inches or more inches, I can use a pacifier/teether clip that I have in the baby’s drawer

This is a lovely little toy I recently purchased for my grand baby. I love the variety of sensory experiences here – the strawberry leaves crinkle, the strawberry itself is very plushie and soft with the little seed indents addition to the texture, the mirror panel is smooth and shiny while the silicone ring is textured, flexible and easy to grand and hold on to. The velcro loop is meant to easily go around carseat or toy bar, however there is only one single velcro pad on it that is supposed to “grab” on to fabric but is practically not very secure and comes apart easily with minor force. The toy is light and I find it is best attached by the silicone ring to a pacifier clip of some sort. It is pricey for what it is but super adorable.
