Love this sturdy little puzzle – my toddler loves everything to do with Farms and I bough him this to help him learn his words – great for strengthening the pincer grip too!
Have had it for nearly a year and it’s holding up well, and it’s also something that he’ll still go back to to play with.
Bought it for my wee boy and he loves taking them out and trying to get them back in (with practise he’s now very good at it). Also helps with learning the animals and their sounds.
I bought it for 5 something on prime sale and think the price is definitely worth the puzzle.
My granddaughter is 14 months old now and just about worn this puzzle out (and similar puzzles from this supplier). The peg boards are so much better for little ones as they can pick the pieces up easier. Just mind when they’re on the ground – can be like treading on Lego if they pieces land peg face up
My son is nearly 2 and this is one of his Birthday presents but I got it because he was enjoying playing with it at a playgroup. The pictures are under the puzzle pieces to easily find where the pieces go, also he was saying the names of the vehicles as he went too.
The puzzles are bright and sturdy, and I’m sure they’ll be enjoyed for years to come.
A well made, lively coloured board puzzle with pegs for ease of lifting the pieces for tiny fingers. I can’t comment on durability as I haven’t given this to my grandson yet but it looks sturdy enough. Has an old fashioned, comfy look that reminds me of the ones my own boys loved. I’m confident that a toddler will love this.
My little one really enjoys these and they are pretty good quality. The reason for the 4 star is my daughter has chewed a bit at the duck and the picture has come away a bit. I would prefer if they were a little more toddler mouth proof!
Value more the money. Lovely looking peg puzzle, I’ve bought it for Christmas. I wouldn’t buy another though. As I bought it for my 15 month old and he likes to chew on things. The pictures on the pieces are a thin sticker and easy to scratch off. The edges around the pwg pieces are a bit rough also. You could get a splinter from it quite easily. For the money it’s good though. I would recommend them for children who don’t chew on toys. Keep them away from liquids x
Great value for money for a wooden puzzle. The board and prices are nice and thick with little pegs to make it easier to pick them up. A bit disappointed as even after only a few uses the pieces and holes in the board as chipping round the edges so looking a bit worn and sorry for itself already. But great apart from that and my boy loves it!
The reason why I don’t give it 5 stars is the fact that in one of the corners, the board seems to have received a heavy bump as the corner and the front of the board are tarnished.
It’s purely cosmetic and doesn’t affect the usability of the puzzle, but still, when you receive a really nice piece like this, it’s just ugh to open and find this damage. Why can’t people handle items with care instead of just throwing it around like the planet had infinite ressources. One of the downsides of capitalism, I guess. Then again, capitalism gave me this puzzle which is surely a steal at this price.
It isn’t the best quality, but at that price I can’t fault it. My 2 year old were able to put this together so fast, and loves making the animal noises. However, she also likes chewing on it, as the pictures show. The good news is that it doesn’t seem to be made of anything harmful, so she is probably just getting a bit extra fiber in her diet. (I guess she’ll like bacon and egg, her favorite chews are the pig and the chicken.) The bad news is that obviously this isn’t the most solidly made jigsaw. No choking hazards though, it is not like big bits are coming off. I would still recommend it, but be aware that it is chew-able bordering on edible.
