I’m no expert in darts, but my brother-in-law is an avid player, and according to him, these are pretty good. The integrated design combined the flight and shaft into a single piece, which enhances durability and reduces risk of flights becoming detached during play. The plastic feel robust and well-constructed. It has a stable flight, resulting in more consistent throws.
Installation is straightforward, the shaft fits securely into the barrel. All in all, a pretty good product for excellent price.
Mission darts is another great brand when in the world of arrows. They’re often more affordable than others but still come packing some top quality stuff and these flights are no exception.
They’re sleek and smooth with no rough or sharp edges from the mould. They screw in to the barrel beautifully and offers a pretty secure connection at least with the few different sets I have so I wasn’t constantly tightening them.
Come in a nice package and overall look great when flying and when in the board. Would definitely recommend these. 4/5
These flights are fun to use and for the most part a well manufactured product. I ordered the slim versions in white and so far am very impressed with them.
Some moulded flights I’ve had in the past I have found the 2ba thread isn’t always the best but with these I found them near perfect.
They feel nice in the hand and fly to the board extremely fast. With the slim design you may find your darts enter the board tail down. This can be easily negated by changing your grip on the dart to nearer the rear of the dart.
Two minor gripes with these flights is there appears to be a small moulding defect near the actual flight. I have another set and the defect doesn’t appear on it so I can only asssume its a one of defect which happened during the moulding process.
The other gripe isn’t really down to the flights but the condition they arrived in. The amazon box was clearly damaged and partially open when it arrived. The box the flights was in was clearly flatened and had taking a pounding. Luckily the actual flights were completely intact.
I would say I recommend these flights as an alternative to the more expensive versions on the market but at nearly 8 a throw these are just as expensive.
Quality 4/5
Durability 4/5
I am a fixed flight user and have most recently been using K-Flex so I have been looking forward to using these since seeing the Mission launch on YouTube.
Unlike other reviews mine arrived nicely packaged and in perfect condition. They screwed in without issue and are nice and straight with a good amount of flex.
They appear to be a two part moulded system as you can see where the two parts connect on the stem. I’ve not found that this causes any issues with the trajectory or flight of the dart.
The wings of the flight are definitely thinner than the K-Flex and this is where opinions may be divided – as they’re thinner they won’t suffer so badly with deflections but the flip side is that they will damage more easily – so it’s a decision on what is more important to you. As of yet I’ve been playing with them for nearly a week without any noticeable damage.
Throwing wise I normally use a No 6 so had to adjust to the slim style and found that they fly faster and more accurately but with less room for error. At the currrent time of writing you also get more choice than other competitors with you being able to get a No 2, No 6 and slim all in the 3 different lengths. As such theres something for most dart players.
Colours wise they’re limited at the moment to black, white and clear. I’d really like to see some other colours and preferably different ones to competitors.
If you’re a bit of a novice Dart Player like myself who gets totally fed-up with your Flights flying out of your Stems (normally when the dart comes out of the board), then these “Mission” 2-in-1 Combined Flights & Stems could solve this issue? I chose the Longest “M” Stem Length Size as they’re more suitable for the way I hold my Darts and my throwing grip. They appear Well Made and ensure the individual Flight Fin Angles remain at the correct 90 Angle. It took me a few weeks to decide whether to try these out, as at first I thought they reminded me of the cheap plastic darts you use to get as a child, but thankfully these are nothing like them – In fact, even some of the Professional Players now use these for a more consistent throw! Price wise, I think 7.95 is Very Reasonable for them and although I’m pretty sure they won’t turn me overnight into a “Luke Littler”, overall I’m really pleased with them! Thank you.
I wanted to try these with my ‘ton machine’ darts as I’m getting fed up with my flights popping out when there is a queue to play at the pub.
The ones I had (in the photos) are the medium length. They weigh 1.6g each. Weight distribution is as you’d expect and the screw into the dart shaft is accurate and tight. Early impressions are that they fly well and can take a beating, though I did note they generate some static electricity but that is unlikely to affect play.
I’ve been using K-Flex from Target as everyone has become obsessed with darts and the worlds gone darts mad. I prefer a fixed flight for sure, no messing about making sure stems are tight and flights are pushed on. Just simple but effective fixed flights. I was excited to try these offerings from Mission which are their take on the fixed flight bandwagon. I’m pleased to say that they’re very good, a negative review I saw said they had some that weren’t straight and didn’t screw in well. These ones were fine, I think there is a bit of residue on the thread for the flight but if you’re half minded with mechanics like me you’ll screw the thread the opposite way until the thread bites and then screw it in the normal way. I didn’t have any issues screwing them in and they appear straight as can be. I’ve photographed one side by side with Kflex and there isn’t a massive difference in appearance. I can say that the actual wings of the flight are maybe a little thinner which I don’t think is a bad thing as they’ll give more when it comes to deflections etc. Whether they wear the same we’ll have to see. The cut slots down the shaft is slightly different but looks to be trying to achieve the same thing and guide a dart to its target than than away from it. They look good with a little ‘m’ mission logo etched in too. I’ve tried the number 2, slim and number 6 flights and they’re all top drawer quality! Feel great weight wise when throwing and I’m happy to keep using these and would rate them as highly as others. I’m particular these slim flights look amazing in clear but I can’t throw as accurately with them. Otherwise fantastic quality and no negative points to raise!
