This has put my wife to work (it was a surprise birthday gift .
Before you women kick off I did buy her feminine stuff as well!
The biggest surprise was that she actually loves it!
Would recommend
Easy and quick to use… Good for home use.. the rotary belt also is of very good material… The remote does the job easily…. the weight also is just 15kg…Easy to move around….compact and silent… Bluetooth connectivity to Ur smart watch is also accurate And most importantly value for money… Highly Recommended
Its been many years since went jogging but wanted to try a walking pad. In the end I went for this one on the grounds it was also suitable for higher speeds and had the raisable support with arms. What I have ended up is jogging every morning with Ifit on the tablet (manually controlling the treadmill as it doesn’t link etc). So so glad I didn’t just go for a walking pad and now would not consider any machine without the bar and arms. When I am on speed 8 running across a beach in Thailand , you really need them. And of course you can still take a walking tour anywhere in the world. So for me hard to beat this one. And I would still chose this one over the pro-version as I prefer with arms. Fantastic!
I just received the Mobvoi Home Treadmill SE 3 in 1, and wow, I love it! Assembly went super fast, it took me less than 5 minutes. The compact design makes storing really easy and ideal for small spaces. I love how it really gets up and running fast to get into the workout in no time. It is very robust, yet silent. My cat wasn’t impressed at all and didn’t come closer, but I definitely am impressed and will be regularly getting closer. Great value for the money, really multifunctional treadmill! I would recommend this treadmill to everyone trying to find a versatile, easy, user-friendly solution for working out at home.
This is absolutely fine for walking however although it will go up to 12kph I found the belt started to slip a lot at that speed so maybe spend a bit more money if running is more your thing. If you fancy a gentle jog between 8 and 10kph then it’s fine.
It folds up nicely and is not really in the way when not in use. It’s very easy to put together, just a few minutes and you’re away. It can get a little noisy when running, nothing too bad but maybe make sure there are a couple of closed doors between it and anyone trying to watch TV.
I was pleasantly surprised at how good this treadmill is. It’s compact and ergonomic, easily folded up and I can slide it under the furniture and out of the way, the wheels making moving it very easy.
Of course, nothing is perfect, and there were a couple of things I think I should highlight:
* The setup instructions are not as clear as they should be — I’d suggest updating them by a writer who has actually set it up. However, it’s just so simple to do so, that it really doesn’t matter much, so this is probably a non-issue.
* My other criticism (again, a non-criticism, more a clarification) was connecting to the watch app. I tried a number of things and what finally worked for me was simply turning off Bluetooth on my phone just before pairing with the treadmill. It just worked when I did that and continues to work after I turned on Bluetooth on my phone again.
With the negatives out of the way, I have to say this treadmill provides exactly what I want. When working at my desk, I can use the walking mode where the handles are lowered out of the way (as shown on the pic on the left). This limits the speed to 6kph, although I have to admit that when trying to use the computer, anything over half that is rather distracting. This allows me to stretch my legs instead of being glued to my chair all day, feeling refreshed after a little walk. Since the handle with its controls is folded out of the way in this mode, the speed can be adjusted with the remote control, a really clever idea.
With the handles raised pic on the right), it works as a treadmill traditionally does. It supports speeds of up to 12kph which is quite fast, in fact faster than most people would bother trying. While the remote control works just fine in this mode, the manual controls (below) are also at hand and it’s probably easier to use these when you’re moving a bit faster. There’s also a safety cord that’s connected to a kill switch by a magnet just in case you fall. There are a couple of handy buttons, 3 and 6, that you can use to quickly select the common 3kph and 6kph speeds.
The display is clear and displays the speed you’re running, the time spent exercising, the distance travelled, and the calories burned, switching every few seconds between them (below). I like this constant update, although I have to admit it’s a little disheartening to see that the calorie count doesn’t increase at the same rate as the other values.
I can definitely recommend this treadmill. It’s sturdy, easily stored away, flexible enough to use to stretch your legs on a walk, and for a faster run. With the dreadful rainy spring we’ve had, it’s good to be able to jog a few km without also battling the elements, in the comfort of your home.
A really nice and compact treadmill for use at home. It folds away really nicely and can be used simply in walking mode without the support bar or in running mode with the frame up.
Integrates really nicely with my Ticwatch Pro 5 for syncing distance etc.
Doesn’t consume a massive amount of power although I haven’t really tried it out at top speed.
Mainly used it so far for making up my step count for the day while watching TV in the evening and it’s great for that, it’s not too noisy and is very easy to use.
We’ve been using this treadmill for a few weeks now and it’s been a huge hit with the family.
It folds easily and can be tucked away nicely but we get the most usage when it’s out and ready to go.
The kids love it and it’s great for cold rainy days when you can’t be bothered to get yourself outdoors. The emergency clip is a great feature too. I wasn’t expecting it to have one of those so that was a nice surprise.
The treadmill is heavier than I imagined. Which is a good thing because I’ve done a few runs and it’s been sturdy enough for me. My partner who is a little closer to the weight limit is not as comfortable jogging on it because it does shake around quite a bit more but he can still get a brisk walk on it and work up a decent sweat in 30 minutes. He did find the belt wide enough to walk on comfortably which was a concern originally.
I really can’t fault the treadmill. It’s great value for money and I love being able to rack up some steps after a busy day of work and after school activities.
So, following the advent of COVID I was fortunate to be able to work from home. One downside to this was that I found I spent a large amount of time sitting in one position (only moving for toilet breaks and to make the odd coffee). So, in order to improve my work environment I purchased a standing desk (from Amazon). This has been great as I try to stand for a good portion of the day. The only issue that I then found was that my step count for the day was woeful (some days only hitting 1k steps). So in order to improve things further I have purchased the Mobvoi treadmill.
I’ve had the unit for a week now and it’s been really great. The unit was very easy to assemble (all of the tools are bundled with the item – including some oil for future servicing).
The treadmill can be used in walking mode (to go under a desk, where the console arm is stowed away) or running mode (where the console is raised) . My main intended use for the treadmill is for use whilst I’m in meetings (walking mode). The setup is simple, wheel the treadmill in and plug in the mains socket and then use the remote control to start the treadmill going (+/- buttons on the remote control the speed). I tend to set the speed to around a couple of miles per hour walking speed so that I can still concentrate on my computer screens.
I’m pleased to say that the motor is really quiet whilst I’m working (I can barely hear it).
The Good:
Initial Setup was straight forward (all tools provided).
The unit seems very sturdy (solid metal frame construction weighing in at less than 15kg). But the integrated wheels make it easy to move around (even on carpet).
The unit folds very flat and is easy to hide away (I put mine behind my office door).
The motor is very quiet in walking mode – so doesn’t disturb my meetings. I haven’t tried running (yet)
In running mode (control frame up), there’s a stand (detachable) to support a book, phone or tablet whilst you run.
The controls are simple very to use.
It’s quick and easy to get out/stow away.
Great price for the quality of the unit.
Simple display that shows your speed and distance.
The Bad:
Nothing to complain about so far.
Other :
There is a companion phone app for the treadmill but I haven’t tried it yet.
As I’ve been trying to get better in shape I thought I’d revisit the idea of getting a treadmill and came across the Mobvoi treadmill that ticked all the boxes I needed and since having it for around a month couldn’t be happier.
Unboxing and initial setup:
The unit came pretty much fully built with just the side arms needing attaching.
This was a simple few minute task and the tool needed to screw in the side arms is provided. Straight away I was really impressed with the thoughtful design clearly in place here.
The arms rotate round so when folded away can be stored flat without the need to remove the arms.
You can’t underestimate the value of this design feature.
It means the treadmill can be stored conveniently folded away and then brought out when needed just by wheeling into place, the unit is light enough this isn’t a chore and sturdy enough for a decent workout without risks or concerns for safety or damage to the unit.
I’m 6ft tall and a big guy and at no point do I feel cramped for space on the treadmill or concerns for the stability or sturdiness of the product.
I’ve reached over 10km/h on the unit, this is in the living room whilst others are watching the TV and at no point did it feel the noise, other than the panting coming from me 🙂 was disruptive.
Smart features:
I’m an Android phone user and also have a wear os watch. Compatibility with these devices is important to me and was an integral part of my choice.
I have the Tic watch Pro 5 which is the perfect companion for the treadmill.
You can easily pair the watch directly with the treadmill and get all key stats for your session.
The unit comes with a non slip shelf big enough to hold a tablet.
You can then pair the device with the treadmill and use this to display the stats and even a virtual run or training.
Overall I would say if you are looking for a portable, compact, feature rich treadmill that can be used for walking or running and won’t break the bank look no further!
I recently picked up the Mobvoi Home Treadmill SE, and I’ve been using it for a solid two weeks now, and I have to say, I’m thoroughly impressed. Let me break it down for you.First off, assembly was a breeze. With just the handlebars to attach using the provided tools and a clip-on tablet/phone holder, I had it up and running in no time, literally within five minutes. They even throw in some tubes of lubricant and maintenance instructions, along with a small remote with basic treadmill controls, so you’re all set for easy self-service down the road. The build quality is very good and sturdy, a mix of metal and hard good quality plastic. It’s very durable and has hidden wheels at the bottom front; I was able to push and move the treadmill with ease. The belt is very grippy and tight. This treadmill surprised me with its versatility. Want to take a leisurely stroll while binge-watching your TV or PC? No problem, just fold down the handlebars, and it’s like a walking pad. But when you’re ready to kick it up a notch, raise those handlebars, and you can go for a good jog or run. This is a slim, portable treadmill; you can fold it up, slide it underneath your bed, or place it against the wall and save space. And let me tell you, the speed range is pretty good, and more than enough for me, but a reminder, this is not a full-size gym treadmill; the running belt length is slim/shorter, so don’t expect to sprint like an Olympian. For reference, I’m 173cm in height and weigh 13.5 stones, and I don’t find it a problem.Safety is always a priority, and this treadmill has got that covered too. It won’t start unless the safety tether clip is in place, held there by a magnet. So if anything goes awry, the tether will pull the magnet, and the belt stops immediately, giving you peace of mind. The LED screen is at the bottom, near the belt; it’s clear and easy to read, displaying all the essential stats like speed, calories, distance, and time. Changing the speed is a breeze with the plus and minus keys, and there are even shortcut buttons for quick adjustments. Plus, you get a handy remote control for added convenience. Now, let’s talk about the noise level. This thing is surprisingly quiet, even at higher speeds. I have it set up upstairs in a bedroom, and you can barely hear it from downstairs. And let me assure you, the shock absorption on this treadmill is very good, making every run feel smooth and comfortable. The treadmill seamlessly integrates with the Mobvoi Treadmill app on my smartwatch. It automatically detects when I start a run and tracks everything from heart rate to pace to distance. And once I’m done, all the data is uploaded straight to the Mobvoi Health app for easy access and analysis.Ultimately, if you’re seeking a practical solution for your home workout needs without sacrificing space or quality, the Mobvoi Home Treadmill SE is value for money and worth every penny.
*UPDATE* Be aware that this treadmill can cause electrical interference and affect household WiFi.
It doesn’t affect my main system as that is fibre broadband. But for my husband’s work computer we use a booster to carry the signal. The treadmill causes electrical noise and slows the computer down. Very frustrating. It’s basically caused by the power cable to the treadmill. As soon as the treadmill is switched off, the WiFi is working again.
Treadmill is on 1st floor of house, home office 2nd floor.
So please bear this in mind if you work from home and use boosters/extenders. I’m currently in the process of trying the treadmill on the ground floor so that it uses a different circuit to the booster.
Contacted the manufacturer. Will update.
For the price range, this treadmill has impressed. The quality is high.
Very quick to set up initially (less than 10min).
Easy to store. Just release the brake and it’s folded in seconds.
Handy stand for tablet use ect .
I love this treadmill. Very happy.
One thing to add, the manual advises against using on a carpet (motor can overheat). So I would recommend using on hard floor or a mat over the carpet to be safe. I’ve got very thick carpets so I’m not risking it.
Be aware the plug supplied is very short. The manual says to avoid plugging into an extension so bear this in mind.
I’m now working from home 3-4 days a week and not getting a huge amount of exercise during the day. I saw this treadmill from Mobvoi and thought it would be perfect for using during calls or breaks to get my steps up and get some exercise in while I work.
The treadmill was extremely easy to assemble. I managed to do it in about 5-10 minutes. It’s so compact but also has a good length of walking/running pad that I don’t feel my feet are slipping off the end. I’m 5’10” and I feel like there’s loads of room for me. It’s really easy to fold down and stow away too. One handle at the side and it folds down and under our TV unit. It could easily stow away under a bed too.
If you just want to use it as a walking pad you can keep the handles and front of the treadmill down and just use the remote control which is a great addition to have, but if you want to jog/run you can have the handles and front controls up and have a bit more stability. I like using the wrist strap for the remote control when I’m using it as a walking pad so I’ve got the controls at hand if I want to increase/decrease the speed. It’s really quiet too. If I’m on a TEAMS call for work I like to have the front controls up and use the tablet holder for my phone and can join a TEAMS call and have both my hands free. That’s a great feature which I haven’t seen before. I’ve also used it for my tablet and watched a TV show or a virtual walk/run while I’ve been walking or jogging. It’s really simple to use with either the remote control or buttons on the front.
I feel like there’s enough spring in the shock absorbing pad that I’m not getting sore knees or joints from the constant pounding which is ideal as my knee joints aren’t the best from running marathons when I was younger.
This treadmill can also connect to your smartwatch via the Mobvoi treadmill app so it logs everything on your watch.
If you’re like me and looking for a walking pad to use while working or a really easy treadmill which won’t break the bank then I can definitely recommend the Mobvoi Home Treadmill SE.
I recently purchased the treadmill from Mobvoi and have been very impressed by its performance and features. The assembly process was simple, requiring minimal effort and time to set up the machine. With only the handlebars needing to be attached.
One of the standout features of this treadmill is the quiet motor operation, which helps achieve a distraction-free environment for my workouts. Whether I’m jogging or running, the smooth and consistent motor performance enhances the overall experience. Additionally, the user-friendly controls, accessible via both a remote and console buttons, provide convenient options for adjusting speed and incline settings on the fly.
Key Features and Benefits:
– Easy assembly process with minimal effort required
– Quiet motor operation for a peaceful workout environment
– User-friendly controls via remote or console buttons
– Seamless connectivity to smartwatch for tracking workout data
– Sturdy metal frame for durability and stability during use
– Convenient folding feature for space-saving storage
– Inclusion of tablet holder for entertainment during workouts
– Safety tether clip for added security during intense exercise sessions
Connectivity to Smart Watches, the treadmill can link to your TicWatch (tested with a TicWatch 5) and directly save workout information to your health profile; additionally you can configure TicHealth to sync with Google Fit
The treadmill’s sturdy metal frame ensures durability and stability during more intense workout sessions. The inclusion of a convenient folding feature allows for space-saving storage when not in use, making it an ideal choice for smaller living spaces. I particularly appreciate the tablet holder, which enables me to enjoy entertainment or follow workout routines on my device while exercising.
Despite some minor issues I encountered with belt tension adjustment and visibility of the LCD display, the overall performance and features of the Mobvoi treadmill have far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this treadmill to anyone in search of a practical, efficient, and reasonably priced workout solution for their home gym. With its thoughtful design, connectivity options, and user-friendly controls, the Mobvoi treadmill is a useful piece of kit.
I’ve had a treadmill before but this one is significantly more compact, despite the walking/running area being the same, full size. It’s also much quieter than my old one, and the handles fold down very easily for storage, so I’m really happy with it.
ICan definitely recommend, it’s excellent value. Other great features are that it connects automatically to my (WearOS) watch and uploads data.
Seems very sturdily made, and it looks the business as well. Great to get some exercise in the privacy of your own home, or just when the weather is bad.
Compact treadmill for home workout and limited space. The treadmill comes in a well packaged box with manual, tools and lubrication bottle. The treadmill comes pretty much ready to be used out of the box, the only thing that needs to be assembled are the handles which is very easy to install and clearly shown on the manual. There is a tablet holder which needs to be slotted into the frame which is straight forward, just make sure to face the rubber side towards you, as it is used for gripping the tablet in place. Then the kettle plug needs to be plugged in which has decent length. The treadmill has a safety tether clip which attaches under the tablet holder magnetically. The treadmill will not start without this safety feature and should be used by clipping it to your t shirt while running at high speed so that if you come off the treadmill the treadmill will automatically stop as soon as the magnetic safety tether is disconnected. The frame is made of metal and feels very sturdy. The best thing I like about this treadmill is the handle design which can be easily rotated and overall support frame can be folded down for walking mode without having to dismantle the handles. The previous model mobvoi treadmill had handle which needed to be removed for walking mode. The bonus on this version of treadmill is that the treadmill can be connected to your android smartwatch which was not available in the previous model treadmill that I owned from mobvoi. The previous model only had phone holder where as this one has tablet holder which sits nicely on the groove, I think you can place your phone as well but I need to test it with phone as it is not clamped down and does not slide in on the groove with phone case. I like the fact that Mobvoi actually thought about resolving all the problems. Make sure to read the manual if you have any problems and lubricate as instructed, sometimes the belt might get loose and drift to one side which is common on treadmill after several use, which can be fixed easily by adjusting the left and right tension with provided allen key. I think the smartwatch watch app can be improved by integrating and syncing the treadmill data with Samsung health app and Google fit app. The treadmill has maximum speed of 12km/h when the frame is upright position and 6km/h when the frame is on down position for walking mode. It comes with remote which can used during walking mode as the frame will be down where the control buttons are located.
I wanted a new, not so expensive, light and silent treadmill for some time and couldn’t decide what to buy. When I came across this treadmill and saw the specs, I thought this might be it, and I was not wrong.
Assembly is almost not needed. Only the handlebars need to be attached and you’re ready to go. All tools (you only need an Alan wrench for this) are included and it took me less than 1 minute per handlebar to attach. If you want to use it only as a walking under-desk treadmill you don’t even need to assemble them. It’s still OK to have them as they fold neatly so you can go between walking mode and running mode in a pinch. You also get a few additional tools to tighten the belt if needed or to lubricate the belt as per the indication in the manual.
The motor is way more silent than I imagined. Not sure why, but I was expecting it to be a bit louder than it actually is.
Control can be done with the included remote or via the console buttons. Console has Increase/decrease speed, start/pause and stop buttons plus predefined 3 km/h and 6 km/h buttons. I did not think I would ever use those 2 predefined speeds, but I do, and feel that it makes sense to have them. The main display on the treadmill is nice and big that shows the expected time spent, speed, distance travelled and calories burned.
Another nice addition compared to my previous treadmill is the connectivity to my watch. After initial pairing, it will start recording the session automatically without any additional actions on my part. Distance, speed and duration are recorded by the treadmill and heart rate, steps and calories burned, by the watch. When you finish the run/walk you get additional info about your session on the watch like pace and time spent in “warm up/fat burned/aerobic/anaerobic/dangerous” zones.
I’m very pleased with this treadmill and really enjoy using it.
Purchased this about a week ago now to try and get a bit more exercise while I work. It is perfect for fitting under my standing desk to walk as I work and yet small enough to pack away when needed.
Setup was really easy and from unboxing to walking in less than 5 mins… The best feature for me is the fold away side handles on the support bar, something previous models failed in as they were not easily removed. These ones simply fold over and are then sitting tidily along the upright of the support bar, which has also been improved… The locking lever is now far easier to use with the bar up and flat.
Connecting to my watch was really easy too and shows all the key information you would need as you walk/run. The remote control makes starting the treadmill with the bar down is a real game changer, remains to be seen how easy it is to lose though as I seem to have a remote-control black hole in our house somewhere.
I’ve had several treadmills over the years and have always found them to be too loud when in use, and whilst this one is still not silent, it is certainly the quietest one I’ve had, when in Teams meetings while walking my work colleagues can’t hear a thing and I don’t need to have my tablet or the TV turned right up to watch something while walking either.
If I had to make one small criticism of this model, that would be the fact that it seems the speed can only be set in increments of 0.5 km/h, earlier models allowed a more precise setting of 0.1 km/h increments, I’m sure I’ll get used to it but my “go to” speed was typically not a whole or half measure!
The Mobvoi Home Treadmill SE comes pretty much assembled, with only the handle to attach it’s up and running within 5 minutes. You even get some tubes of lubricant and maintenance instructions so you can easily self service the machine. This treadmill is more versatile than I expected. With the handlebars down, it’s a perfect walking pad for getting my steps in while catching up on shows. But raise the handlebars, and it transforms into a proper running track, with a decent speed range that even lets me push myself. You won’t be able to start it until the safety key is in place, this is fixed in place by a magnet. If this comes off then the belt stops immediately, an important safety feature.
The LED screen is nice and big, and it shows speed, calories, travel distance and time. Speed is easily changed using the plus and minus keys and there are also some shortcut ‘3’ and ‘6’ buttons as well. Very easy to do whilst running, plus you get a remote control to make it even easier. The built-in phone stand and Bluetooth speaker are great for keeping me entertained during workouts.
The machine is much quieter than I expected even at the higher speeds, and it’s works really well if not on a solid floor. Ours is upstairs in a bedroom and can barely be heard from downstairs. The noise level is just above normal conversation level. It feels good to run on as it gives plenty of shock absorption. The running belt does seem a little on the short side, but I think that’s a good thing for a home treadmill. Anything that helps to reduce the weight and storage size outweighs the need for a longer belt. I’m 180cm and I don’t find it a problem.
The Mobvoi Treadmill app from the Google Play Store on my smartwatch instantly recognizes the run has started and keeps track of heart rate, steps, time, distance, calories, pace and speed. These are sent real time to my watch so I can record all my exercises. At the end of the workout you get some more stats like step frequency, maximum step frequency, maximum heart rate and time in each heart zone. This is then uploaded seamlessly to the Mobvoi Sports and Health Data Platform so I can check my results.
Overall if you’re looking for an indoor treadmill that’s solid, space-saving, versatile, and quiet that won’t break the bank, look no further. 5 stars from me!
