They seem to work, we’ve caught quite a few moths in them. The only issue is I accidentally ripped the hanging hook off one of them. The cardboard is very thin and ripped extremely easily. Would be better if the hooks were made of thicker card. Only improvement I’d suggest.
After a very bad year of moth damage to some clothes I started using these mothout traps.
I hang them in my wardrobes mainly but also at top of my Velux windows where I have seen them coming in. Very satisfying to see the dead moths stuck to the traps. Last year, no damage so I have now set them up again. What a relief!
Great service with lots of advice. The packs can be used flat or assembled with the luminous sticker, I have found both effective. The packaging is excellent. Follow the instructions especially if you have pets as the surface of the trap is extremely sticky but this is remedied with additional strips which are provided to stop nosey paws etc. Useful lavender bag provided which I have placed in my jumper drawer or could hang in a wardrobe.
As a lover of antique textiles, living in a place with a year-round mild climate, clothes moths are my mortal enemy. Pale backed clothes moths have been plaguing my area for the last few years. I’ve tried all kinds of moth traps at various prices, including expensive “professional” ones from pest control companies. None have come close to these for catching pale back clothes moths (Monopis crocicapitella). I’m on my second purchase of these and pray that they are never discontinued!
PS: Placement truly counts when it comes to effectiveness. Placing multiple traps spread around a room will cause for too many pheromone sources and the moths will be less likely to fly into a trap. Instead, place traps at different heights where you see the most moth activity. 3 traps in a column: at ceiling height, another at eye level and one 8″ off the floor, using tape to adhere them to whatever surface.

When I opened the first two packets two moths appeared as if from nowhere and they promptly became stuck to the trap
I could hardly believe it, I hadn’t completed the assembly of the trsp and they were already attracting moths. They work so incredibly well and there is no odour or nasty chemicals to harm himans or pets, and the knowkedge of the manufacturer is really impressive.
The traps are catching moths in my home and saving me a lot of money by preventing the moths ruining my clothes and soft furnishings.

I have bought these traps to monitor whether there are any hidden moths in my wardrobe as I have recently found a moth in my room. I have been using these for only one week and haven’t caught any yet but I look forward to seeing whether this changes.
This pack is absolutely superb! The instructions are easy to follow and give a full break down of what you need to do to get the best from the products. It also tells you a little about which moths these are suitable for. The lavender bag is perfect size for hiding behind things, but big enough to emit the beautiful lavender smell that the moths hate so much. The traps are simple to use and can be stood up or hung which is great depending on where the moths are. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and feel a lot better now the moths are being dealt with. It’s hard to believe that such tiny little things can cause so much destruction!
My third purchase of these excellent traps which are now in every room and clothes cupboard in our house. Overall I can’t recommend these enough and have been delighted with the product.
After suffering from losing hundreds of pounds of expensive sweaters and other woolen garments to moth holes there was no choice but to declare all out war on these critters. I bought many different brands of mothballs plus numerous insecticide sprays, but none seemed to be completely effective in getting rid of the moths because there is no way to treat every surface or space. Now when any moth appears it ends in one of the MothOut traps and the problem seems to be finally solved. They also have the added benefit of trapping all other household bugs and creepy-crawlies if you leave them at floor level – particularly effective for silverfish, although spiders which one doesn’t want to trap, I guess are used to sticky surfaces and seem immune.
They are individually packaged in a sealed foil packet and assemble in a few seconds. The inner surface is *incredibly* sticky so while it’s effective at trapping bugs, one caveat is that you do have to be careful not to stick the sides together when assembling, once you tear off the protective plastic. Another plus is that there’s absolutely no smell from them, which is important in bedrooms etc, and they can be discreetly tucked out of sight.
