The controllers charge easily. I do have issues lining up the headset to charge. It doesn’t just fit which is a disappointment. If it’s not just right, it’s not going to charge.
Doesn’t take a lot of space and it does the job. It does require changing out the batteries and battery cover. I really like how it eliminates having to change out batteries for the hand controllers. Charging is as easy as resting on the base. I do have problems with charging the goggles. The goggles don’t always seat well onto the charging electrodes. Sometimes it just doesn’t connect when I put them on the base. Bumping it can easily dislodge it and stop the charging. The only way to know is if the light in the goggles is on. So instead, I just plug in the goggles with the cord to insure that it will fully charge. Good purchase otherwise.
Ich habe nach einer Alternative zum teuren Meta Original gesucht. Der erste Anbieter hat leider Die Brille nicht erkannt und somit geladen. Jetzt 20 Euro billiger sofortiger Erfolg.
After upgrading my son’s VR I knew I wanted to get a wireless charging dock so I wouldn’t have to deal with constantly replacing batteries. So far it was been amazing! Charges quickly and is a nice dock for the VR to be stored i
This is a great way to keep everything charged. It comes with new controller battery covers and batteries. You can select if the LED bar illuminates or not by a switch on the back. Best to use the charging cord and block that came with the headset. It is a little tricky to dock the headset and the controllers, but I got the knack of it. If you were bump the platform or table it’s on then the controllers or headset might bump off of charge. It would be nice if the magnets were stronger so that there was a more positive engagement of the components. I like it! Even ordered one for a friend!
If the batteries held a longer charge this product would be very close to being rated 5 stars. It is very small and takes up minimal space wherever placed. The LED indicator is nice but I haven’t figured out a way to turn it off yet. The dock seems to charge the controllers and headset quickly making it a great buy. My only gripe is my right controller seems to drop to 40% fairly quickly when I’m playing; once at 40 it seems to stay here for a while before dropping lower. Other than the mixed battery consumption, this is a great product to keep my Quest 3 charged and well organized when not playing. Even with a third party battery pack head strap I’m able to charge it as long as the head strap weight is distributed correctly for the headset to sit on the charging prongs properly. (Make sure to use a proper wall plug cube as some won’t have enough amperage to charge the dock/headset and controllers properly as the package doesn’t come with one)
Was easy to set up and get going. Also like that I didn’t have to take off my 3rd party add-on items off the controllers in order to charge. The set-up also looks really nice while everything is docked and charging. The charging speed seems good to me and I was happy with how everything functions. Really great way to keep everything together and ready to go.
A nice way to store and charge your quest all in one place. It is very easy to set up and doesnt take a whole lot of space. The Quest itself is quite compact and this charging stand follows the same idea, compact and does the job well. It allows foe the headset to be stored and charged at all times whilst also keeping it handy and accessible.
I’ve always fumbled with cables and plugs for my VR headset – not anymore! This charging dock has become an essential in my gaming setup. The magnetic connection means I can just drop in the headset and controllers. No more hassles and everything charges surprisingly quickly. The LED indicator is also super handy for seeing your charge statusataglance.
I recently purchased the NexiGo Charging Station for my Meta Quest 3.
The led light adds a nice touch and keeps everything neat and tidy.
But I’m a little concerned about the inclusion of rechargeable batteries; Will they last long enough?
Can they be easily replaced?
My son us avid Oculus Quest 2 gamer, the charging dock has been an absolute game-changer for him. The ability to simultaneously charge the headset, elite strap battery, and both touch controllers is incredibly convenient. No more swapping batteries or unplugging one device to charge another.
The charging speeds are also impressive – I can fully power up the headset in under 4 hours and the controllers take only 2.5 hours. The magnetic USB-C cable connecting to the Quest 2 is nice and sturdy yet detaches easily. And the included rechargeable batteries have saved me a fortune compared to disposable ones.
From an aesthetic standpoint, the dock looks really sleek sitting on my desk. The coloured LED lights indicating charge status are handy, and the design keeps my VR gear neatly organized. It’s satisfying having a dedicated display station for my Quest 2 setup.
On the downside, the price is a bit steep for what is essentially a charging stand. And while it works perfectly with the elite strap, it’s disappointing that it’s not compatible with controller grips which are popular Oculus accessories.
My only other gripe is the LED lights can be quite bright at night if I forget to power down the dock before bed. But overall, the charging station has made my VR life so much more convenient that the pros far outweigh the relatively minor cons.
With all the hype about the Apple Vision Pro I am seeing lots of new excitement for the Quest 3 and I’m glad to see it. The Quest 3 is great for the price and the first real VR headset in my opinion.
Having this type of 3rd party hardware for the Q3 is great and this dock is very helpful. It forces you to return it neatly where it belongs and keeps it charged as well. The LED clearly indicates status of charging.
Perfect gift for a Quest 3 owner.
As I am a Vine reviewer some of my reviews are based on free products which require an honest review. I strive not to take things I have little interest in and review at the price point advertised (including vouchers or discounts where mentioned). My criteria and markings are based on the following;
| No brainer – Top product. Not only do I really like it but it’s well worth it IMHO
| Like it – Great product and value for money. Happy with this.
| OK – Product is average. Nothing wrong but I’d probably be looking for a sale
| Hmmm – Not worth the price, functional but nothing better than mediocre
| Avoid – Very Poor Quality item not fit for purpose. Wouldn’t buy at any price .
Using this dock means that I have no longer to deal with cables and plugs each time I need to charge my device and I simply place my meta Quest on the Dock and it starts to charge immediately.
Besides the fact that it can charge my device I can also use it as storage, basically I keep it on the charging deck, and with the design of it I have to admit that it makes my Meta Quest look more interesting with the setup.
Usually when the battery of my Meta Quest is around 10% and refer to put it on the charging dock and in around 1 hour it reaches 90% and I consider this to be a very fast charging process.
Play charging dog is convenient to use and it also looks nice because it matches the colors of my Meta Quest.
I recently recieved the NexiGo Enhanced Charging Dock with LED Light for my Oculus Quest 2 and it has been a game-changer for my VR gaming experience. This charging dock is a great all-in-one solution that makes charging and storing my headset and controllers a breeze.
The set-up instructions were easy to follow, and I had everything up and running in no time. The charging dock fast charges the headset via a magnetic clasp while it sits on its cradle, which is a big plus for me because I don’t have to worry about fumbling with cords or plugs. The rechargeable batteries with covers for the handsets are also a great feature.
One thing I love about this charging dock is that the LED lights tell me at a glance when each part is charged, so I always know when everything is ready to go. The dock keeps all my bits neatly stored and charged in one place instead of all over the floor, which is a huge relief.
The build quality of the NexiGo Enhanced Charging Dock is top-notch, and it feels reassuringly expensive. I’m confident that I made a good investment with this product, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to streamline their VR gaming setup. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this charging station.
This charging dock is perfect for the my Quest 2 and its controllers. It’s designed to charge your headset, elite strap, and touch controllers simultaneously, it cuts down on wires heavily and makes it all so neat.
The LEDs indicate the charging status, so you always know when everything is ready to go. The sleek design looks great, and the coloured lights add a bit of a high tech vibe.
The rechargeable batteries are a more than welcome bonus. The dock works well with the strap, and the magnetic cable has a strong connection.
I was worried after reading some of the other reviews, so had my fingers crossed while testing ours out for the first time – however, ours works well and charged quickly and without an issue! Very pleased. It’s working well so far and is very nice quality overall – sturdy and efficient. Very pleased
The item arrived on time, packaged well and as described. The item is very good quality and is described accurately. The item is not overly big so doesn’t take up a lot of space. This would also make a great gift.
I’ve had a number of NexiGo products over time, and always find them well built and fit for purpose. I’ve a low usage VR owner, so I have had no problems with charging time, as I tend to keep it charged overnight. The headset fits comfortably snuggly as do the handsets, and it keeps your VR tools all in one place.
I’ve taken one star off as there are cheaper alternatives that will do the job, but if you want brand confidence, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose this.
I was a bit worried when ordering this due to all the 1-star reviews, but after trying it out for myself, I don’t think they are warranted. Yes it has some drawbacks, but it does work, and it is also a cool way to display the headset.
The biggest problem with it, from my perspective, is that it really only supports the Quest 3 in its native configuration. If you have silicone controller covers, pro grips, a different facial interface, or even a silicone cover for the native facial interface with a nose guard, then it can be difficult or impossible to charge the headset or controllers. It does work with elite-style straps, but the charger is also fairly reliant on the headset being front-heavy to keep it docked, so if the elite-strap adds too much counterweight, or you’re unable to prop it up, then it won’t easily stay on the charging points. I did manage to get it to work with a silicone facial cover, but not one with a nose guard.
It also has a less than stellar charging speed, probably doing somewhere between 10% per hour, but if you use the cable that came with the Quest 3, instead of the cable that came with the charging dock, the speed improves to somewhere around 20% per hour. Still not lightning fast, but perfectly fine if you just want to dock the headset at the end of the day and let it charge overnight, which is good enough for me.
The controller charging points work well, although they will say the controller is fully charged, and then within the headset it will say they are anything between 60% and 90%, but that could be down to the Quest measuring voltage based on the original supplied batteries, rather than rechargeables.
It has to be said though, that all these complaints can be leveraged at any other charger on the market, even the official Meta one, because they all rely on you using the native configuration, and magnetic induction charging points are natively not as fast as a direct USB-C connection.
This docking station for Meta Quest allows you to charge your headset and controllers at the same time all in one location, reducing the need for so many cables and helping keep things a bit neater and tidier.
Charging status can easily be gauged by the built in light, displaying orange when it’s charging and green once fully charged, which comes in handy to see at a glance.
So far, it’s done an OK job of charging without any drops in power or major overheating from what I’ve noticed, so I’m hoping this continues.
It does seem to take quite some time to fully charge everything though, so be prepared to have to leave it overnight or throughout the day.
All in all, it’s a decent dock, but has drawbacks.
Not sure why some of the reviews are quite negative on this charging dock station for the quest 3, but from my testing it does the job well. It’s compact, inconspicuous and flat – and looks cool. After letting my headset run down to close to 5%, it took around 3 hours to charge back up over 90%. My controller batteries were around 50% and charged up to 100% at some point (I did both simultaneously so don’t know how long that took).
This comes with rechargable batteries for the controllers which is a nice bonus – I hate disposable batteries and try to use rechargable only for everything.
So not sure what other people are doing wrongbecause I haven’t had a problem?

So I viewed other review about this not charging so went in with low hopes, but so far it’s charging fine, I think the issues lays with the amp put put as I noticed it get slower the higher the charge so 0 to 30% was 1hr, 0 to 85% 2.5hr then it started to slow so 85 to 88 about 30mins. This makes sense that if the base unit out puts lower amps as the more charged a battery is the harder it is to push more electricity in.
More test to do yet to pin point this.
I used the OEM wire and charger block
The controller battery fit fine the left one shown fully charged and green light on the base and the right one long 50% charge in the headset but still a green light on the base.
The covers are a bit tight and snug I found but ok.
Other issues I had was the headset has a different headstrap which tips the balance and can disconnect the charging (could also be causing the slow charging)
