Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersIf you use these as recommended ie 4 times a day when the pollen count is high, they are very effective. If you wait until your eyes are already itching and watering, then these will just add to the pain when you put them in.

I always rely on these eye drops during the summer months when grass pollen is high. I use whenever I feel I need them and they work well. I buy them every year. Reputable brand

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI get such watery stinging eyes in hayfever season, and even watery eyes any time of the year if I’m wearing liquid eyeliner. My eyes are extremely sensitive so it’s good to drop in just before bed and then as I wake up. Unfortunately even dropping this stuff in my eye can make them red and sting a little but once that clears up I have no problem all day.
The optrex spray for on the go and this as a first and last thing, great combo

I’ve used cromoglycate eye drops for my hay fever eye symptoms for years. Oral antihistamines don’t completely control the itching. Until now, I didn’t know Optrex had a version. These drops stop the itching within a few minutes and prevent it entirely if I put them in first thing in the morning. Previous brands would sting for a few seconds when I put the drops in; with Optrex, it’s barely noticeable. I will repurchase it.

I was sceptical. But my eyes really itchy and dry and uncomfortable. I can not stop rubbing my eyes. But then the skin around them got so painful and can’t take more pressure from rubbing. So the discomfort and itchiness gets worse. But after one use. The itchiness gone.after one use— Left eye still feeling bit dry but no itchiness anymore which feel sooooo good. Thank this drop makes my life bit bette

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI sadly suffer quite bad with allergies. This past week my eyes were super sore, more so than usual, watery, itchy, red and swollen and was bothering me quite badly. I ordered these drops late on and they came the next day, really fast and good service. I used the drops and they didnt sting which some usually can, within a few minutes they started to feel a bit better and less itchy, after a little while they had stopped hurting and itching completely which enabled me to stop rubbing them making them sore. The next day they wasnt as swollen or as red. I would recommend these drops to people suffering from allergies/hayfever.

During grass pollen season, my eyes swell easily and feel gritty and sore. These drops help give relief.
I’m awful at putting drops in so I squirt onto a clean tissue and then then wipe just inside my eyelid. This seems to work well. Not a magic wand but a big help to keep me in work

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is the first year I’ve ventured into getting eye drops for hay fever and these have been a very helpful in dealing with itchy eyes. A few times a day I’ll get itchy eyes and after using these, I get itchy eyes less often and can usually use the daily dose to deal with the itching.

The drops did use to sting but I’ve started to put them in the fridge to keep the liquid cool. They sting the eye every now and then but I think it could be due to me applying it incorrectly, though it still makes the itching go away. Very pleased with the product!

I’ve done a lot of things to change my immunity to seasonal allergies – diet, exercise, nasal spray and nasal washes. I pretty much had sinuses under control but could never fix the eyes – always burning itching swollen eyes that ached from so much rubbing. These drops get rid of all that too! [Someone said the drops burn – I find they only burn if you’re in the middle of an itch attack and so anything you put in your eyes will burn OR they need to change the bottle as it may be expired/compromised.]

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was prescribed the medicinal version of this by my optometrist via a local pharmacy, after having developed an allergy of some sort to something unknown, resulting in the underneath of my top eyelid to resemble the ‘cobbles of Coronation Street’!

Since finishing the pharmaceutical drops, I bought this as the problem have reappeared some weeks later. This Optrex version has provided the same relief of the discomfort and has cleared up the feeling of having something in my eye.
