2023 OUTIN NANO PORTABLE ESPRESSO MACHINE WITH FAST HEATING & 20 BARS OF PRESSURE
Q1: What should you do if the coffee doesn’t come out? A1: Due to the air pressure, the coffee might not be able to come out. And the coffee grounds in the water also might block the inner tube and prevent the coffee from draining. Please use purified water only. Before each operation, please use cold water to run the device once. No need to install the portafilter, just double-click the button to extract. Not only can clean the inner part, but also avoid this problem. If this happens, please turn the body upside down and disassemble the portafilter. Then, pour some cold water into the water outlet. Finally, double-click the button to unblock air pressure. This problem can almost be fixed.
Q2: How many cups can you brew with one charge? A2: The original Espresso performs at its best when you extract with 50ml of water (Get 1 shot of 30ml espresso). So I would recommend you brew 50ml every time, and get 5 cups on a full charge. But if you are going to use 80ml of water, the machine can only extract 3 cups.
Q3: What should you do if the machine does not work? (Only beeps but not running)
1. (Beeps once) Press the power button to check if the batter is low (below 2 bars). Charge it fully before use.
2. (Beeps twice) Battery Overheating Protection is on. Please wait 5 mins before your next brew.
3. (Beeps three times) Boil-Dry Protection is on. Make sure there’s water in the tank before operating.
4. (No beeps, just lights flash alternatively) Short / Open Circuit Protection is on. Please contact Customer Support for help.
Q4: How to avoid water leakage (Failed Extraction)?
a) For ground coffee:Firstly, check if the ground coffee is too full, the ideal capacity is 5-6 grams, about 80% full. Secondly, check if you tamp the ground coffee before closing the lid. Thirdly, check if you put the holder into the portafilter properly. Finally, check if you install the portafilter and screw it in tightly. b)For coffee capsules:Firstly, check if you push the capsule firmly into the holder. Secondly, check if you put the capsule holder into the portafilter properly. Finally, check if you screw the portafilter into the body tightly, or else the brew may fail.
Q5: I pressed the button but it didn’t heat, and the espresso is cold, what to do? A5: If you press the button for more than 5 seconds, it will extract the coffee without heating the cold water. Please press for 2 seconds till hearing the beep and let go of the button.
Q6: How can I puncture the foil of the capsule successfully every time? A6: First, push the capsule firmly into the holder. Second, put the capsule holder into the portafilter properly. Third, screw the portafilter into the body tightly, or else the brew may fail.
Q7: What to do if Outin Nano fails to charge? A7: Check your wall charger and see if the output is 5V/3A. Only support adapters compatible with 5V/3A. Attention: If your machine hasn’t been used for a while, it might take longer to charge. Please be patient.
Q8: Can I use the machine while charging? A8: The machine can’t operate while charging. Before long-term storage, please charge the battery fully.
Q9: How do you know if the machine is about to die? A9: If the lights flash 2 times and beep 1 time, that means it’s dying and you need to go charge it.
Q10: Can I bring it to mountain climbing? A10: Yes, but you should know that the higher the altitude, the lower the boiling point. The heating temperature will be below 96°C/205°F. I would recommend you take this machine to mountains that are below 6500ft.

For someone who drinks 1 cup of coffee a day this is ideal to take in the MotorHome and for it to not consume any power at all.
Use the Nespresso pods which keeps the mess to a minimum.
It can make espresso from ground coffee as well as Nespresso coffe pods due to two separate attachments provided (approx 6g ground coffee per serving) . Compared to Nespresso stationary coffee makers la crema is weaker, thinner but very nice. For purists and double shot lovers there is an option to buy a separate attachment allowing the use of 16g ground coffee. It is however very expensive, nearly 48 and shipment/delivery takes a few weeks. Perfect set up for coffee on the go, I use it at work daily, adding hot water, as using cold water allows only a few on one battery charge. When hot water is used it lasts easily a week making 2-3 coffees a day. Expensive little marvel of technology, worth the price in my opinion. Word of advice, that device requires specifically 5V/3A charger to work properly. Many USB chargers for portable devices are 5V/2A, it is not enough to charge, I nearly returned the item failing to charge before I got the more powerful one. It is not how many watts, it is the output in Ampere units that counts.
Love the coffee that this machine produces. It’s compact, convenient, quick to boil (3 mins) and makes a top quality coffee every time. Pricey but worth every penny. Used it for 6 months without any issue as yet. The only thing I would say is I would like a way to deactivate the bleeping as in public places (on trains, at stations) the noise does draw attention and I feel I have to explain what I’m doing. It goes with me in all my trips and has saved me a fortune on take away coffees. Love it.
Firstly, I have given this coffee maker 4 stars due to I would have liked a larger water tank to hold more water. However, when I make a coffee I will boil two lots of 70mls of water.
This Outin Expresso Coffee Maker is made of quality materials and is very robust you only get what you pay for Quality.
I bought this because I work nights as a carer and can now take this to work with me so pleased.
This Outin Expresso Coffee Maker comes in a nice sturdy box the contends are well protected (see pictures provided).
I’m am very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend it for people on the move like I am.
I’m a happy customer thank you
Bigger than it looks in the picture, however it makes superb expresso I use boiling water and charge it around once a month weather it needs it or not! Have used it with cold water a few times and can get a double expresso in under five minutes out and about. Boiled water for three doubles despite not starting with a full charge.
Fantastic bit of kit so much better than my old branded hand press !
Used this on a walk with my two lads. We managed 3 cups of Nespresso coffee with one charge and because it was using capsules it was easy and the coffee was like it was brewed at home. Not tried with lose coffee as yet.
No need to slum it with instant coffee when camping any more. Easy to use and simple to clean if using pods. Battery can last a long time if using boiled water from another source.
I use this everyday at work, main with preheated water and the capsule holder, I can’t fault it. Excellent value for money, perfect coffee every time. I also grind my coffee and although the cleaning is a little hassle it give a great freshly ground coffee. Brilliant for days away where there’s no barista coffee available.
Well made does everything it claims to do. For me I need to do 3 runs to get the amount of coffee I need for my fix, buy buying additional pods from outin direct this makesa it easy. Just pre load all the pods and start making. I use pre boiled hot water to speed up the process and 50ml shots to get a good crema. If you use cold water you will get 3 * 50ml. Value for money? Cheaper buying direct but I wanted the bolt on Amazon 4 year warranty. 10/10 I am sure there will be upgrades as time goes on and I will be buying them.
Bought this for our camping trip,I honestly didn’t expect much for something that can be charged off the car. But it is amazing, same quality coffee as I get out of my nespresso machine at home, lovely frothy top. So easy to use, the battery lasts ages as well if you put boiling water in instead of cold. You won’t regret buying it, if you love a good cup of coffee.
To be honest, I was somewhat sceptical about this. I take my coffee seriously. I have an upcoming 10 day mountaineering trip, so my curiosity won over my preconceived notions and I bought it.
I’ve only had it for a day, but brewed 3 cups. One with a Nespresso pod (which will be the use case if I’m hiking/camping), one with ground Arabica/Robusta blend.
I used cold filtered water. In all instances the machine produced pretty good brews. Much better than some high street “coffee” shops!
Fair warning – you need to be realistic about your expectations. It will never match up to a domestic high-end automatic, or a manual lever espresso machine – the pressure is just not there. Here’s the big “but” – it’s smaller than a water bottle, it’s light and it can brew an espresso at the touch of a button!! You can make an espresso, in the mountains, miles away from civilisation if that’s not a 21st century marvel, I don’t know what is!
Goodbye instant coffee (which is just an abomination and should be banned by the Geneva convention).
The build quality is fantastic. The product feels very sturdy and I feel comfortable taking it out on the trail. The packaging is beautiful and the instructions are considerate and thorough.
Keep in mind, you need a 3A charger! (Not included).
Hats off, a beautifully executed concept and a welcomed travel accessory!
Very good and well made machine. Used so far with Nespreso pods and does a good job. Does take a long time to charge amd you get about 3 cups per charge with cold water. The claim 200+ cups with hot water I seriously doubt, nowhere near that in fact single figures. Very expensive for what it is but, does it good.
