PC Speakers,USB Powered Desktop Monitor Sound Bar with Knob
PC Speakers,USB Powered Desktop Monitor Sound Bar with Knob Volume Control,3.5mm AUX – Enhanced Stereo Sound for Gaming, Complete with Headphones & Microphone Connectivity,Plug-n-Play (Black)
These PC speakers are good for improving sound on your computer. They’re easy to set up since they’re powered by USB, and you can adjust the volume with a knob. You can also connect headphones and a microphone to them. Overall, they’re a simple and convenient way to enhance your audio experience while gaming or working on your computer.
Small and yet pretty bassy.
Powered via USB, hence either you need to have PC on or a powerbank.
Sits nicely under the monitor.
Good and clear sound.
Good for entertainment or work.
Would be nice if BT can be added, as it is only AUX in only, for both mic and speaker.
Reasonable at under 20.
The soundbar is well made, easy to set up and looks good, but it may take up a bit room on your table.
It’s loud and crisp in sound, adjustable bass / treble, a definite improvement on the PC sound.
There are lots of connectivity options which means it can be connected to almost any device.
I got this for my work laptop so I had a better speaker than the inbuilt speaker for Teams calls. It fits that purpose fine, sits nicely under the monitor and I can turn it off and volume control via the knob. Music isn’t so great on it, and it only goes so loud (it is only 10W after all), but it’s fine for generic office use. If you have a multimedia PC, you’ll want something better.
Cheap OK speaker but sound quality nothing to shout about.
Ordered for use as a reviewer on my Imac this is not so good, running on a 27″ imac my inbuilt speakers are louder and have better bass response than this speaker, the volume is only however ever so slightly lower in comparison.
In all fairness though if setup with a standard PC with a monitor with cheap low quality inbuilt speakers this will outperform the monitor speakers hands down so does have a use case that will be better suited, the speaker does look nice and modern sat beneath a monitor if you have the space and the little RGB lights are not to intrusive> the volume knob is handy however most will crank it to full and use keyboard keys to adjust the volume. bass as said is not to bad and the rest of the range performs quite good without distorting on full volume which is surprising for a USB powered speaker however older USB ports that only put out 500mA may struggle.
For the price at just under 20 i would not be disappointed from a quality point of view so this is still a stylish 5 star product, it’s just not suitable for my use case on a iMac.
Didn’t expect much from this little soundbar in all honesty, but have to say I’m very pleasantly surprised.
I’ve had a few of these things over the years, and all the ‘budget’ types have struggled quite a bit bass-wise. Usually they need a bit of help, either by strategic placement on something a bit ‘resonant’ (not ideal), or by adding another separate bass speaker (more expense).
This is the first one I’ve actually been happy with, simply holding it on my lap and listening to it without any aids or ‘enhancements’, I could hear the difference straight away compared to the others.
Flicking through my usual tried-and-trusted tracks I use for testing stuff like this, it was obvious this little bar could pick out and reproduce the sounds I was looking for. Instead of the usual ‘I know there’s a bass-line in there somewhere’, it was indeed there… coming through loud and clear.
Now, it’s not going to blow you away on any particular level, build-quality-wise or volume-wise, but it’ll certainly punch above its’ price point. This is probably the first bar of this type where I’ll be happy to place it under my laptop stand, leave it as it is without messing about extras-wise, or having to tweak the Windows equaliser.
Impressed for the price, and on a quality/value-for-money basis… an easy 5-Stars.
If you are paying 19.99 for a powered speaker, you probably want something that will do the job and that is all. That is pretty much what you get with this. It uses USB A for power (no USB C adaptor included), there is no DAC so sound is only through the 3.5mm audio jack. It has the option to plug a mic in but it does not have its own. You can also pass through headphones by plugging them in.
Sound quality is as you would expect for 19.99, lots of muddy bass, highs just aren’t but it does work and it goes loud enough but no louder. If you are going to use it a lot for music listening spend a bit more.
They have surely made it look very pompous in their advertising which although it sounds sufficient, it’s not that great.
Some of us gamers from late 90’s and early 2000s remember them PC stereo speakers which wouldn’t sound great, but was all we’ve had and it was amazing.
This reminds me slightly of that, but an improved version.
Now, it is nice and works well, and of course easy to connect to your PC (which is also where power USB goes in my case).
At the front you have a turn on/off button which also works as volume adjustment.
There are front jacks for headphones and mic separately if needed.
Volume and sound…well, I’d say average at best, but I guess you get what you pay for.
Look, it’s okay, it’s basic and it’s an entry into your world of PC gaming sound.
I have headphones for gaming and will use this soundbar when doing some work and need only an occasional sound from my PC, and thus won’t need to have headphones on all the time.
I use a wireless headest for gaming which is fantastic but quite often I’m just sat at my desk surfing the internet, doing research etc and so my headset isn’t even powered on and not on my head when I’m not gaming. It might sound daft but if I come across a short web video that I’m only vaguely interested in I’m not gong to power up my headset and put that on my head for the 20 secs of video – it’s not as quick as it sounds. So I wanted a cheap PC Speaker and when I saw this I went for it.
I’m delighfted – this is perfect for my needs.
This is is an inexpensive speaker that gives you decent and respectable sound, especially when it comes to TV and Music – it will distort if you push it too loud but the sound it gives is great up to that level. It goes loud and clear enough for me to get accidentally engrossed in a programme that I had only put on to test the speaker!
Pro Tip: The Windows store has a free app called audio switcher which enables you to assign a hotkey to easily switch between audio devices – game changer for me, considering how much I’ll be swapping backwards and forwards.
For the money, can highly recommend.
Comes in a retail box.
A very basic 10 watt stereo soundbar that has a split 3.5mm speaker and mic cable and a usb A plug for power but there is no power adaptor included.
not particularly loud at only 10 watts but it copes ok with EDM but only goes as low as 60hz so no low lows.
Does not like rock or classical too much though especially at max volume.
Now the rgb, this has to be a joke … it consists of a tiny split horizontal bar below the volume dial
that changes colour and sometimes each one is a different colour, amazing !
Overall its not bad but its not good either, but if you are limited with space and on a tight budget and dont need anything too loud it will suffice.
