My golden retriever needed an operation on her foot and these were great to keep the bandage dry. Once the bandage was removed these shoes helped my dogs foot get better by keeping it dry and allowing the wound to heal on short walks. My dog didn’t mind wearing the shoe as it didn’t make any sound and stayed on her foot well.

We have purchased these multiple times for our 8 year old medium sized German Shepherd who weighs 34kg. She has DM this causes her to knuckle her back feet causing cuts. Size 7 shoe is a perfect fit.
We have a 6 year old small Golden Retriever (34kg) she doesn’t need protective shoes but to help with sizing size 6 would be required.
Our 9 year old Newfoundland (58kg) also doesn’t require protective shoes but for sizing he would require size 8 .
We have purchased multiple brands of shoe in the past and these are by far the best.

Brought these to help protect my dogs back paws after he had a little injury and to make it more comfortable for him to walk whilst they were still a bit sore.

Make sure you measure your dogs paws correctly to ensure enough room for paws to spread whilst running around. Sizes are accurate.

The straps still work despite bring worn throughout the winter, in the rain and through some mud. I can’t say if they’d last if your dog is a mud monster because he doesn’t like to splash around or flick dirt up everywhere.

I love the colours available, I went with red because his colour theme is red so looks great to match his boots, collar and lead.

The boots are perfect for the winter, coming home and being able to take the boots off and not have to wash his paws off everyday is a game changer.

Also good for if it’s really cold and icy, they will protect their paws from ice burns.

For people who have to take their dogs out in summer and can’t avoid pavement, these will help but just make sure to take them off when they get to some grass since I imagine their paws could get pretty warm in them.

    Great product in general.

I bought these to replace another brand which wasn’t a good fit. My dog broke one of his claws which is sitting at a 45 degree angle so I wanted a boot which had a bit of room so he could go outside for walks without worrying about the claw getting damaged further. They’re more than what i paid for the other set but they are worth it as they seem to be comfortable and sturdy. Would recommend if you’re after a good set of boots which will last. On the plus side, I have 3 spare if he manages to lose one!

Good value, good quality but sizing is an issue, even measuring my greyhound feet as advised when adding a liner or bandage it does not fit comfortably. Maybe only wear them when no covering but paw pads still need protecting.

I used the size guide and my dog falls in between 2 sizes so I got the bigger size and they seem to big. I’m happy with them for the price. When it snows my dog loves to play and she gets burns on her paw pads so these will come in more handy in the winter. My dog doesn’t like to wear them though even with treats at hand she walks like Michael Jackson with these on. It’s good to get them used to shoes alot earlier in puppy stage but your dog can learn to wear them regardless of age.

Way too small for a Bernese Mountain dog, but if they had fitted (fit?!) then they may have worked. Very sturdy, good quality materials, good look, reflective strap and strong Velcro. The Velcro strap could have been longer too but that’s all issues to do with the boot being too small for my dog. I do think a longer sock part of the boot, reaching higher up the leg, would help the boot stay on.

Theses boots are well made with a soft interior and two good Velcro straps. I would have liked them maybe 1″ longer for a better fitting up her leg. The size 8 fits my 40kg chocolate Lab quite well and stayed on during a walk/ run in the woods. It fits over the dressing the vet put on after an injury she suffered. They also wash well. I put a thin plastic bag over her foot before I put the boot on as the dressing she has on her foot was not slippery enough to put it on without moving her bandage.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI spent quite a bit of time measuring my dog’s paws and ordered the right size. He is a chocolate labrador and needed a size 8 so it is important to take the time to measure properly. The shoes are a perfect fit and my dog seems to find them comfortable!

I have a very active dog who runs chases the ball and skids alot. The shoes stay on perfectly and that is one of the most important things.

The shoes are water resistant but if the foot is immersed in water then water can get in. they are find in the rain.

I am so pleased with these shoes, they do the job excellently and I can highly recommend.

My vet recommended boots like these as our bull terrier is suffering from an open wound on her pad. These are great for slipping on for trips to the garden. Our dog took to using straight away. In the pack you get 4, 2 left and 2 right. Sturdy velcro to keep on and reflect tape handy for nights. They wash up with a bit of washing up liquid as paws are smelly. Been using for quite some time and still looking good. We did as per instruction draw around paws to gauge the size needed.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWe bought these for our Leonberger bitch, weighing 63Kg. Size 8 just big enough. They seem quite good quality and durable. Not that easy to get on securely, mainly due to the size of her paws and her long fur. One strap is elasticated so is much easier to pull tight, I have suggested to them that making both straps elasticated would be better. And a longer body, more like a sock, would be easier to secure tightly. Once we do get them on though they do stay on for normal running etc, but may not stay on if the dog is playing with other dogs. But then no protective boot would stay on in those circumstances I guess. We have had a cheaper set and these are much better. For the money, a fifth of the price of some, I think these are very good value.
