A great little pump. I have had the Nano for about 5 years and it’s still going strong, but I wanted to try the Nano 2. It’s a bit more powerful, but is still quiet and sticks well to the outside of the tank. You need a non-return valve for safety, as with all pumps. I can highly recommend. Nothing to go wrong, as there is with other pumps. You just clean thr air intake hole with a pin now and again and that’s all the maintenance that’s needed.

Had just bought a supposedly quiet air pump but, alas, it was not so tried this thinking that even if it did not work it was not too expensive. Much easier to use! Sticks on the side of the tank instead of having to find somewhere nearby but closer than the filter and is as quiet as a mouse!

Quiet little pump for an airstone or small additional filter. Hums but isn’t noisy. Has a strong sucker to attach it to the outside glass. UK plug. Comes with a clear plastic 1m tube. Buy a one way valve though (not included) or risk electrocuting your fish/destroying the pump. Would recommend. Would have got 5 stars if a one way valve had been included (1.70 from my local aquarium shop)

I was using an Interpet Airvolution 1 (second hand, included in a bundle) which made plenty of bubbles but by God was it noisy. Even wrapped in sponges it was really loud. So I bought this for my Fluval Flex 57 litres. It’s really neat and small, sticks well out of sight on the back of the tank and I can confirm it is very very quiet. Bubble-wise, it’s going into a 12″ air bar which is a bit too much for it to handle. It doesn’t make the same curtain of bubbles the Interpet did. However, it’s still okay in my opinion and the gentler stream of bubbles is more suited to the tank I think. Maybe in the future I’ll swap it out for the included air stone. But for now it’s okay. I’ve got it set up with a smart plug to come on between 9am and 6pm. Overall, very happy with the quietness and satisfied with the bubbles. I’d definitely recommend this pump.

Bought one of these for a 60l tank and have since added a 70l tank. Was very pleased with the improved environment in the first one after installing the Nano air pump so had no hesitation ordering another for the new tank. Great improvement in tank health and cleanliness. Keeps algae at bay. Very, very easy to set up – just make sure you have an additional power socket nearby.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersWell i have to say i was not expecting much from this pump as i have brought 3 over the past year and they have all been noisy even the ones that have said they are quiet have turned out to be as bad as the others, they vibrate so much even standing them on an old t towel made no difference, so yes i have been very unhappy, so i thought i would try this one, and what a relief it is, something that has a little hum on it that works so well, its not hugely powerful, but produces some lovely bubbles with the stone provided and i have stuck it on the side bottom of my tank as the plug lead is not that long, it works superbly!!!!!! at last peace, just so so happy, and i would recommend to anyone who has had the same problem as i have, you will not be disappointed, thank you!!!
