Good little find my integrated tracker. Pretty basic, but does the job. Feels cheap in the hand, but chuck it in a bag and forget about it for a year and it works well. Location is fine, not down to the millimetre but fine for a good 10-20 metres.
Overall works very well, no complaints.
These are very simple to set up, the pinging works fine if it’s in direct line of sight but hiding it somewhere seems to be a hit and miss. The accuracy is OK for a very generic location, but if you want pinpoint accuracy then this isn’t that accurate. I’d instead opt for a slightly more expensive and reliable model known for accuracy if that is of concern.

A lot cheaper than an AirTag and does the same job (minus the precision finding although since I’m using this as an antitheft solution this is actually a bonus for me). Also being the same size as an AirTag it is compatible with all accessories which is great too! Would definitely recommend
This looks and feels very similar to the Apple Airtag, same size so will fit Airtag keyrings etc. Was very easy to set up in the FindMy app. The limited testing of tracking the tag seems to be similar, although I would prefer to use a real Airtag for more valuable items. It comes with a standard CR2032 battery which is replaceable when it runs out, and changing it seems fairly simple.
I don’t think it is waterproof but neither is the apple one. I have a good case protector because with electronics and water you cannot be too sure anyway! So definitely worth the money.
This is almost as good as Apples own smart tag, and works just as well in my tests.

Build quality, was excellent but not on par with Apples smart tag, but to be fair it was close
Materials used again was really good, and I would imagine would outlast your mobile phone
This is a very small device and so easy to slip and hide away anywhere, without even knowing that it’s there.
The only thing that I didn’t quite like about this was the fact that you could remove the battery so simply and quickly, personally I would have preferred the battery removal to be as complicated as it could get, so if found, the battery wouldn’t been an easy job to disable this tracker !!
Now this has got a water seal in the screw door to access the battery, but as I’m very much into tech, I really can’t see this being that water tight, so it might be a good idea to stick with the real deal of the Apple tag if you are planning on using this type of thing on your cat or dog as a tracking device (or anything that could come into contact with water)
Now I’m not saying that, if this gets a little wet, it’ll be no good, but if it’s going to get a good dosing of water, then I honestly think that this will be the end of this tag unless you can find a waterproof tag case that will fit it nicely
NOW ….. For the cost of 16.59p, this is just half the price to Apples tag, so it really is still a very good buy, especially if you need to buy a couple of these, which would match the same price of just 1 of Apples tags ( @ 29.99), so in all fairness, this is still a real bargain of a buy.
This managed to track my wife on her shopping outing and it was extremely accurate (tbh scary accurate) and I think that this would be absolutely ideal to hid on your child, whilst out and about, as it could be very much a life saver !!
So can I recommend this ??
At 16.59p, most definitely YES, it’s reliable, very accurate, and a very much, a peace of the mind, especially if you have children.
Comes with a teeny tiny print instruction leaflet but was simple enough to get going by just removing the protective strip on the included button battery. Feels quite lightweight as back and front casting is entirely plastic. Not sure if the famous brand’s stainless steel backing makes it much more robust. Haven’t had time to test distance capabilities yet: beep is pretty quiet so might be muffled in a pocket more than about 15 metres away but range is claimed as 40 metres
