his is a nice looking snorkel set, in retail packaging. The blue and black go well together, and it’s a very bright blue which make it easy to find if dropped in the water. the set is comfortable and easy to adjust and ideal for a bit of holiday snorkelling. The snorkel includes a float which stops water coming in when you’re under water.
My recent snorkeling experience was significantly enhanced by this snorkel set. The clarity of vision underwater was remarkable, thanks to the anti-fog design of the mask. It was a breath of fresh air not to constantly battle with a fogging lens, which allowed me to fully immerse in the underwater scenery. The adjustable fit ensured the mask stayed snug without any leaks, a common issue I’ve faced with other brands. The dry top snorkel worked flawlessly, keeping water out and letting me focus on the experience rather than equipment adjustments.
Diving into the water with this snorkel set elevates the experience. The mask offers clarity underwater, making every dive more immersive. Adjusting to fit is simple, ensuring no water seeps through. It’s reassuring to dive without the constant worry of fogging, though keeping the lenses clean is still necessary. The dry top snorkel is a game-changer, breathing underwater feels natural, without the panic of water intrusion. While the set significantly improves the diving experience, it’s the comfort and leak-proof design that stand out, making longer sessions underwater not just possible but enjoyable.
Having tried various snorkel sets, this one stands out for its comfort and clarity. The mask’s adjustable fit meant no water leakage, which is a game-changer for someone who’s struggled with that in the past. The anti-fog feature worked wonders, offering clear underwater views without interruption. Breathing was easy with the dry top snorkel, making my snorkeling sessions longer and more enjoyable. It’s a solid set for anyone passionate about snorkeling.
We finally had the chance to fully-test this snorkel mask set on a recent family holiday, when two adults and three teenagers were able to try-out every aspect of the mask and snorkel.
The mask is advertised as ‘Leak Proof’ – and we were surprised to find that it was indeed able to adapt to our different shape/sizes of faces with very minor water ingress. Size adjustment for different users was quick, easy and straightforward – with absolutely no slippage of the straps once tightened.
The mask edges have the usual ‘sticky’ texture which helps form a good face seal – but do have the minor drawback of picking-up dust and fibres. One of those testing the mask (an accomplished diver) complained about the mask fogging-up more than expected – however ALL the other users found the glass particularly clear and fog-free !
The snorkel is the usual, modern ‘curved’ style and comes with an easy-grip silicone mouthpiece. On test, everyone was comfortable with using it and all found it very easy to keep in position and to clear-out any water from the tube.
In a feedback session from all those who tested the mask set, everyone mentioned the ease of use and the excellent wide-angle view from the face glass…. one even said it was “…almost as good a view as using a full dry-top mask”. This has proved to be an excellent, adaptable, family snorkel set and is currently marketed at a very attractive price-point. If you do not want the expenditure of mask hire when on holiday, then this is an ideal set to pack !
My partner has her own snorkel and I’ve only used rentals on holiday so I got this as I’m sick of using scratched ones. It’s good, wide field of view and seems well made. I haven’t used it in the field yet, only in the bath, but it hasn’t leaked while testing.
Some other reviews mentioned fogging, I’ve never used one that doesn’t fog a bit from breathing, but a surfactant (some washing up liquid) and fresh water is the standard solution to this that I’ve always used.
Overall, solid. The glass should be particularly good value compared to plastic.
I got this to take with us to my place in Spain. We have cheap snorkel sets out there but they are not of the best quality. This item feels excellent quality, it fits snuggly and is easily adjustable with the soft straps. I have only tested it in the hot tub but there was no water entry once I’d got the fitting exact. The visibility is excellent and has a wide area to view.
This is coming to Spain with me next week where it will be staying and coming to the beach for me and my son to use. I have given 4 stars for value for money as it feels a little expensive at 29.99 but you can feel the quality you get for that price.
Snorkel and mask set arrived simply packed in a plain cardboard box!
This set is a good upgrade from the cheap sets sold at holiday resorts and features a wide angle lens with an anti-fog coating.
The mask has an impressively wide angle of view and is extremely comfortable to wear with the soft silicone type material allowing the mask to conform to the shape of your face without the leakage prevalent in the cheaper sets!
The mask strap is also very easy to adjust and coupled with the soft material of the mask allows a decent seal without being unbearably tight.
The snorkel is of a modern design and in use only allows the minimum of water to enter when fully submerged but this is also easily cleared with a minimum of effort.
A decent upgrade from the holiday resort sets!
Diving into the underwater world with this set has been a revelation. The wide-view mask offers a panoramic underwater vista, and the dry top snorkel keeps the sea where it belongs – out. The fins provide just the right propulsion. A more compact design would enhance its portability. For water enthusiasts looking to explore the depths in comfort, this set could open new doors.
Although I haven’t tested it underwater yet, it feels like good quality(better than the ones you buy on holding), the mask fits onto the snorkel with this clasp so it dosent move around and is secure. The mask also has tempered glass instead of plastic which is another nice feature. Overall would recommend.
I do like this item. The shape and adjustability around the head and fitting is very good. The glass appears to be very strong and is well embedded. I couldn’t detect any leaks and it appears airtight. Fogging was ok, not the best and not the worst.
The snorkel has a filter on top to stop debris going down the snorkel into the mouth. The overall quality seems pretty reasonable for the price point. Recommended for most areas you would use this.
I’ll start by saying I haven’t tested this properly ‘in the wild’ but I did ask my 14vyear old son to try and drown himself in the bath last night and he survived so it seems to do what it’s supposed to do!
We like the design and colour – it looks modern.
The mask fitted well and was easy to adjust to get a watertight seal.
The snorkel can be clipped to the side of the mask (I recommend this).
My son said there was a bit of a ‘new rubber / plastic’ smell from it when first using it but I guess this will dissipate over time.
We live by the coast and are looking forward to trying this on the two days of the year we can get into the water without freezing to death. Really looking forward to taking it on holiday and doing a bit of snorkeling in warmer waters.
Value wise, I’m not convinced it’s worth the current price, at time of writing, of 24 after discounts. This would be at the higher end of what I think it should be – although if you wait until you are in holiday you’re likely to be paying extortionate tourist rates for less well manufactured items.
Whilst I’m no snorkeling expert I have found these very comfortable to wear.
They feel well made and won’t snap at the slightest touch.
The retail packaging that they came in was a little plain, but who wears the box, and I have to say a lot better packaging than my last ones, horrible to get into, and they were a lot more expensive than these.
Whilst it does say these are leak proof, so far I have found them to be just that, but I have found unless you wet them first before you put them on they will fog up easily, despite them saying they are anti fog, or maybe that is just me and my eagerness to get in the water and my breathing technique.
Aside from the fogging (really is probably my fault) they are as suggested super for scuba, they are comfy and when I did wet them they were super clear and a treat to wear, some googles when you wear then they leave an indent on your face, with these I didn’t notice any of that, probably down to the fact you really don’t have to have then that tight so as not to let any water in.
I do like them, yes I do, Can I recommend them, yes I can wholeheartedly.
I’ve tried a few different snorkel and mask sets out recently and this is a another good set.
Two minor points that are worth mentioning:
The black portion that comes into contact with your face, nose and mouth of the mask and the black portion of the snorkel (the bit that goes in your mouth) are both very tacky/sticky and so in the time I had them out they were picking up loads of dust and other dirt and sand. Because the colour is black this does stand out quite a lot (I’ve had a previous mask with similar design where the equivalents parts were grey and although both sets were just as tacky as each other it certainly wasn’t as noticeable on the grey).
The second is that compared to other sets I’ve tried this one wasn’t seemingly as anti-fog as others I’ve tried but it was tried out on a particularly cold day, which didn’t help (and shouldn’t be taken as definitive yet).
There are plenty of good points though. It’s super comfortable on the face and in the mouth as the parts are really flexible and so form a really good seal around the face too.
The other major positive is that this mask is about 1cm wider for each eye compared to the last mask I’ve tried and although that doesn’t sound like a lot it makes a real difference in the water with a much wider peripheral field of vision.
The colours looks great and the strap adjusts easily too.
Overall this is a really decent set at a reasonable price in a very crowded field of snorkel and masks at the moment.
This snorkel set will come in handy during the summer while on holiday and has worked well while testing it so far.
You get the snorkel itself as well as goggles, both of which feel sturdy and well made, so id expect them to last a good number of years even with regular use.
The snorkel is relatively comfortable in the mouth and allows you to breathe fairly easily, with the valve closing when submerged to prevent water getting in.
The goggles have a wide view and allow you to see clearly with minimal leaks as the head strap is adjustable to get a good fit.
All in all, it’s a good set for the summer.
I should begin by saying that I am far from an expert on snorkelling gear. I think the last one I had was when I was 7… so 30 odd years ago. Having said that, I do have experience with other types of goggles/visors (Paintball/motorcycle helmets).
This does seem well made and effective. I’ve not been to the sea with it yet, but tested it in the bath and I was able to breath fine and could see what was going on. Edit: I have now used it in the sea and it performed great.
It has a tempered glass lens.
This could be poor breathing technique, but it does seem to fog up easily hence the 4 star rating. This could be par for the course with these though, I am not sure if they would usually have a thermal lens (dual layer not thermal vision) or anti-fog coating. Edit: in real world use it didn’t fog up at all, it was brilliant.
Has a valve on the snorkel which prevents water getting in when submerged, but still allows exhaling. This may be a standard feature for a snorkel, but could be worth mentioning.
