Foam earplugs are always going to have their downsides – falling out, and not always keeping out all noise – but these are good enough compared with foam plugs I’ve used. They roll into shapes easily, so you can squeeze them very thin to insert them. The carry case is a great idea. I like having a big pot of these and I don’t think I’ll have to buy more now for a very long time.
I will say that my ears ache a bit after using these for multiple nights on the trot, but I don’t think that’s an issue with these plugs in particular.
However, I do sleep better with them in – and you get more in the container than surely you will need in a lifetime so I have started giving them out to anyone in the family who needs ear plugs
Good quality, loads in the jar, the small carry case, which is nice touch, is metal, very well made and very useful. The buds are easy to use, a great and comfortable fit. We’ve bought these a number of times
Pros:
– You get plenty in a pack.
– Reasonable price.
Cons:
– I’ve tried similar ear plugs and occasionally these fall out in the night or have felt slightly uncomfortable.
– Not completely soundproof.
Overall:
Good purchase if you want a cheap ear plug to help with sleeping. You get what you pay for.
What more can I say other than the title? A year ago a construction site moved in next door as the entire building was getting renovated, a year later and they are still here disruption my peace at all times of the day and night.
I obviously bought these to help combat that. What I can say about these ear plugs is that if I was already asleep, I no longer would be woke up by power tools, the sound of metal being cut, or even the worst culprit – the sound of metal pipes being dropped onto concrete from a height. The fact that these plugs were able to do that was a miracle, clearly taking the edge off the sound enough to let me sleep.
Unfortunately, if I was already awake and trying to sleep, or just trying to get on with work peacefully, these things weren’t too much use. They definitely take the edge off things, so if you’re buying them for quite sounds than construction work happening next door you’re likely looking at the right product.
They’re fairly easy to put in and wear once you’ve got the knack of it, and comfortable once in your ears correctly.
Amazon is also asking me to comment on the appearance, which seems irrelevant to this product, but they are a rather garish colour of orange, construction orange if you will.
