Good variety of flavour to try and experience or to have ready in the house when guests are coming so they have different options to choose. Very nice flavour. Stays fresh and easy to use. Great for Starbucks lovers who also wants to enjoy the same in the comfort of home. We also bring pods on our travels especially if we know that the hotel we are going have nespresso machine in the room to keep the coffee flowing.
Good selection to enable you to try out the different blends and find one that’s right for you. The price of 16.48 (if you subscribe and save) is decent value, on a par with other Nespresso pods and similar to the Dolce Gusto cost too.
My personal order of preference:
Ristretto (10) (the best one!)
Espresso Roast (11) – I drink this long, it’s great!
Columbia (7)
House Blend Lungo (8)
Pike Place (7)
Blonde Espresso Roast (6)
10 pods in each pack is a really good number – there’s enough so that you get a good few cups of each one (because some flavours grow on you), but if you really aren’t that keen on one, 10 cups is still perfectly manageable. The worst coffee here is still light years ahead of some of the rubbish you get from kiosks at attractions up and down the country!
Also, it’s good to subscribe even though you’re probably only likely to buy this once – you save yourself a quid and you can cancel at any time.
These starbucks nespresso pods are perfectly compatible with my nespresso machine (not the newer vertuo version). Comes in a pack of 6 different blends with each strip containing 10 pods each so these are good if you like a bottle of variety and not fussed about specific tastes. The coffees are nice tasting and good, strengths, all down to personal taste really.
The pods are aluminium and good quality, Nespresso used to be the only ones offering aluminium pods. These can be recycled which is better than other compatible pods made from single use plastic although not as convenient as compostable ones.
At 23.70 for 60 pods these work out about 40 pence per serving making them about the same compared to the original nespresso pods so nothing gained in value for money but as starbucks coffees these are perfectly good and tasty.
These are really easy to use, they taste just as good as an actual starbucks.
The aroma is inviting, and the taste is balanced, not overly sweet, not overpowering, allowing the coffee’s quality to shine through. The convenience of the capsules makes it easy to enjoy a flavorful cup at home.
These capsules are a great choice for a comforting and satisfying brew, the flavour is exactly as described on the packaging. Highly recommend.
These original style Starbucks Nespresso capsules are made from metal with foil lids, and are recyclable. The capsules are well made, and pierce without issue in a Nespresso compatible coffee machine – as you would expect from branded versions.
This selection of 6 tubes of ten pods is a good way to try out different coffees, either to have a range of styles because you want a mix of types, or as a taster pack before buying particular versions in greater quantity. The pack has a good mix of strengths and lengths – from ristretto to lungo – and ten capsules of each gives plenty to make informed decisions about favourites.
Price point reasonable.
This Starbucks Discovery Pack of Nespresso coffee pods is a great way to taste a selection of different coffees to assist you making a decision on which ones you prefer. You get 6 packs of Nespresso pods, each containing 10 individual capsules. Each variant of coffee provides a subtlety different flavour coffee, the intensity is where the gap widens. For example the Cafe Verona coffee is intensity 11 which i have to say i found a little too strong for my liking, whereas the Pike coffee is intensity 7 which was a good middle ground between flavour and strength for me. Each coffee has a decent crema and tastes great. I find pulling one pod twice works well for my taste.
If you are looking to experiment with your coffee varieties, or just enjoy shaking things up a little then this pack would be for you!
This Starbucks discovery variety pack is the ideal way to try 6 different blends and experiment with different intensities from around the world.
Intense, balanced or smooth they are there at your fingertips to try out, and if you’re already a fan of Starbucks then I’d definitely recommend them.
So far I’m loving the Colombian and the Blonde and I’ve found the pods to be the same good leak free quality I’ve come to expect.
They are 80% recycled aluminium so I can feel good about that, it’s very affordable, there’s something to choose at any time of the day and it’s all very convenient.
They offer good value for money and so far I’ve found a couple of new favourites.
