These were a great buy. I love the colour (and so does everyone else) but they’re difficult to colour coordinate if that’s important to you. That said, they go fab with jeans. I also wear them under long summer dresses. My only criticism would be the insole. It has ridges which, if you wanted to walk any decent distance in them, they tend to rub a bit on the soles if your feet. I suppose easily rectified by putting some new insoles in, but that defeats the purpose of the padding of the original insoles plus you shouldn’t have to do that. I bought these to use on walks in summer as a break from wearing my hiking boots based on the numerous reviews I read of folk saying they were super comfy on long walks, but I’ll choose some others to use for that. That said, they are lovely shoes and, longer walks aside, I’m really happy I’ve got them.
I drift between a 4.5 and a 5.5. after reading comments stating that the grow in width I ordered a 5 which are a little too snug however I took the padded insole out and managed to get my flat feet in with a shoe horn.
The length is perfect so I don’t want to size up but the width is snug, the tightest part is the top bit where laces would normally sit but I think it will give. I’m planning to wear them for a few hours at work to see how they go. Fingers crossed and old shoes in bag if needed.
I ordered but they come up small in length and narrow. I struggled to get my foot down in them once in comfy sole but I now now worn them yet out about. I brought them as I have health issues hoping to slip on easy definitely not if you side feet don’t buy them. I say also go up size might help. Look good but may not suit all people.
I have just recieved my size 5 pair and had it not been for a slight problem of being tight at the toes, I would be on the road with them straightaway.
Someone in the reviews described them as they are ” like walking in the cloud” , they are indeed ! I’m returning size 5 and ordering a 5.5.
They are narrow on fit but comfy once on
Elastic around the whole top of foot is a high fit.
They are not a shoe I’d say go out in but then I’m old fashioned in that departme
as said these sneakers are very comfortable, once you have them on! the stretch back gets caught on your heel making it difficult to pull them into place even with a shoe ho
I love these shoes. Comfortable and supportive from the first wearing. BUT. And this is a big BUT, if you have any mobility or movement issues. These are not slip-ons. They are extremely hard to get on when you first get them. This improves over time but for the first month or more they are very like trying to get on a pair of trainers that are tightly laced. If you have mobility issues these are NOT the shoes for you and they shouldn’t be advertised as slip-ons as that could be misleading for people who can’t easily bend over and tug away at them to get the shoes on. Once on, they’re brilliant. But be warned….
I think I can safely share that I didn’t really believe all the reviews that stated these were amazing and very comfortable all day while being on your feet, but the around thirty quid price tag, I thought I’d try them.
After attending a huge event over the weekend in London that meant a hideous amount of walking both the Saturday & Sunday, I am totally hooked and will definitely be buying another two pairs for myself.
Initially when the parcel arrived, it was late Wednesday evening, I felt nervous because I’d been suffering so much this year with awful pains in my feet when out walking, travelling and trying to enjoy sharing time with my teenager outside.
I agree with all the reviews that state the slip on elastic nature of these shoes does take some getting used to, but once on my feet, and within a few minutes only, I am a changed woman!!!
I never wanted to take them off they are so comfortable, my feet have been transformed from searing torture to beautiful feeling.
Two full days solid walking and travelling over the weekend, 12 plus hours each day, these have been an absolute godsend.
Arch support and cushioning in the sole, cleverly keeps the foot at the correct position while not restricting the toes, the weight is distributed across the center balance not along the outer edge along the foot, and not moving forward towards the toes.
It’s like a magic shoe!
I usually wear expensive Nike and Skechers, the cost being considerably higher than these. Also when it was highlighted for me that maybe I should try slip ons, my thoughts immediately fell into the trap of already feeling old because of the pain in both feet whilst trying to enjoy time outside.
I’m 53, so have the added bonus that comes with certain body things starting to malfunction somewhat. But now I’be had such a great experience wearing these shoes, I do feel quite liberated and free as I can enjoy walking without any pain.
Highly recommend these shoes to fellow foot pain sufferers.
I have arthritis in my feet – nothing seems to help so sadly my walking has drastically decreased. Then I was recommended these trainers ( and for the price it was no risk), wow! I’ve still got arthritis but I’m walking 9km a day now! They admittedly don’t give any ankle support but as long as you are aware of this, it’s like walking on big fluffy clouds! Heaven! 10/10
I love these trainers! They are super comfy. Great for playing sport or for walking in. The colour I chose is fab (grey) and seems to go well with all my jeans and my leggings. Really pleased with the fit and they are excellent value for the money. If you’re looking for an everyday trainer, I’d definitely recommend them. Also, if like me, you hate a slippy sole, these are great. They grip the floor brilliantly. I’ve also had no rubbing or blisters so all in all, a fantastic shoe.
