Far beefier than the standard cpu clip, also the size of it allows better thermal dissipation due to more mass and larger contact area with cooler plate. Easy to fit, Recommended.
Keeps your PC tidy looks good but once you put in your cooler you won’t be able to see it….. Keeps paste from getting in your cpu…… Good for that…
Bought for a new AM5 build after watching several YouTube videos. Not sure if it’s needed as I did not notice any temp differences when idle on an AM5 AMD 7800x3d with an Noctua NH-D15. One thing it will do for me is to make cleaning up and re-application of thermal paste in the future a lot easier as the exposed surface mount components on the AM5 chip are now covered.
This was good and did as stated BUT came in a pack (no boxed version) with NO thermal paste as shown in pics. May be a bit of a rip off with package version.???
