Minimal packaging but arrived intact. It is a two part waterproofing when you want to go to the beach or in any situation that may damage your devices and valuables.
No fogging observed when I placed the phone in it. The imaged.were clear and no blurring. No water leaking in despite lots of splashing while taking pictures.
The belt bag is handy when you want your valuables like keys and cards with you while you walk in the beach. No leaking observed here too. The belt bag is slim and lightweight but I will not recommend overfilling it as it may compromise the waterproofing ability.

This is a really handy slim set. Originally I was thinking of it for just beach use but it can be useful for so much more.
The waist bag can also be a cross-body bag. I think it is also slim enough to wear underneath clothing to keep essential items hidden on holiday; passport, holiday money, credit card. Not just holiday either, it could be a really smart idea for busy-city use too where there are an increased number of bag thefts and pick pockets. Making sure you’ve got your driving licence and credit cards hidden out of sight gives peace of mind.
Then you also get the phone pouch. I did the tissue test first and sealed a tissue inside, folded it over and dunked it in a sink full of water. I was pleased to report that it came out perfectly dry. I don’t go to a beach much so I think this will be most useful for using my phone in the rain. Especially great for people who play games that involve walking around such as Pokmon Go. My son was always worried about using his phone in a little drizzle, but this solves that issue, AND makes it safer from drops or snatches too, buy it being around his neck!!
I tested my iPhone 11 Pro in it and it fit in with the thin case on it. The touch screen still worked too which is just so handy. I am really pleased with this set.
I like how rainproof it all seems to be. Here it rains a lot, and I like to go out jogging and stuff, so this product ensures my phone will be safe no matter how hard it rains, and it is all quite easy to wear. Also, although the bag is small and rigid, there is room for everything I normally need when I’m out.
I recently purchased the Travel Essentials waterproof phone pouch, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! As someone who loves to travel, having a reliable waterproof case for my phone is essential, and this product exceeded my expectations. Not only does it keep my phone completely dry, but it also fits a wide range of devices, including my iPhone 15 Pro Max .The IPX8 rating gives me peace of mind knowing that my phone is fully protected, whether I’m lounging on the beach or exploring underwater. Plus, the pack of two pouches is incredibly convenient, allowing me to keep one as a backup or share it with a travel buddy. Overall, I highly recommend the Travel Essentials waterproof phone pouch to anyone looking for durable, reliable protection for their devices while on the go!
During my quest for the ideal solution to keep my essentials dry and safe on beach and pool days, I stumbled upon this waterproof bum bag and phone pouch pack.
Robust and Thoughtful Design: The bum bag, crafted from sturdy plastic with a fabric waist strap, presents a practical and generous size capable of accommodating items like money, keys, and phones effortlessly. The highlight of its design is the triple pressed sealants, akin to those on a food bag, ensuring a watertight closure. The audible “click” when each sealant locks is a small but reassuring detail, indicating a secure seal. Further sealing is achieved by folding the top thrice and fastening it with a hook and eye strip.
The extendable strap is a thoughtful addition, making it adaptable to various waist sizes, enhancing its versatility and user-friendliness.
Phone Pouch Excellence: Equally impressive is the phone pouch, which showcases a robust construction, especially with its hard plastic top and secure clips. The transparent section, designed for the phone, not only offers sturdy protection but also does not compromise the touch screen functionality. My phone remained fully operable, a testament to the thoughtful engineering of the pouch.
The inclusion of a user guide on a cardboard insert within the pouch is a nice touch, providing essential tips to maximize protection for your device. The lanyard, which easily clips onto the pouch, offers additional convenience, allowing for neck carrying or secure attachment.
User Experience and Value: Using these products during a beach day proved their worth, safeguarding my belongings against water and sand, while offering peace of mind.
Considering the dual offering in this pack, the price point is remarkably reasonable. The value is evident not only in the quality and thoughtfulness of the design but also in the practicality and durability of the materials used.
Final Thoughts: For anyone seeking a reliable, well-designed solution to protect their valuables and electronics from the elements, this waterproof bum bag and phone pouch pack is a standout choice. Whether for beach outings, poolside relaxation, or any adventure where water and sand are factors, this pack is ideal. Its blend of functionality, durability, and affordability makes it a must-have for outdoor enthusiasts and casual beachgoers alike.
A great two piece waterproof phone pouch and bag perfect for watersports enthusiasts. The phone pouch is a good size and seals securely and passed my waterproof submergence test. The phone can be used through the plastic although a little tricky. The bag (which has a webbed adjustable waist strap) is worn like a bumbag and has a triple seal before the opening then rolls around itself again and velcros securely closed. The fabric is quite a firm vinyl-like material and seems pretty robust. I really like the convinience of wearing this when I am out kayaking as I can relax knowing my phone, keys and cards are secure and on-my-person at all times but won’t get wet. Recommended.
The Travel Essentials Waterproof Twin Pouch System is a two-part system designed to keep phones or other equipment/wallets dry on the beach. It consists of a sealable black pouch with a waist strap and a transparent phone case with a lanyard. Both are made of a vinyl material that feels like a good quality inflatable lilo/beach inflatable.
In testing, the pouch and case successfully protected my iPhone XS Max (without its case) from water. This is crucial, as beaches and electronics aren’t exactly best friends. The manufacturer recommends testing the seals before each use, which is sound advice. However, doing this every time at the beach might not be realistic. I recommend minimising the number of times you open the pouch and ensuring it’s free of sand and water when you do open and close it.
The phone case’s touch sensitivity still worked ok for me through the clear plastic. Face ID doesn’t seem to work with it, but that’s okay.
The construction seems decent for beach use, especially when sealed and kept away from sand. However, I have some concerns about the straps on the larger pouch, particularly where they attach to the vinyl. These may be susceptible to tearing if handled roughly, so avoid overloading the pouch and take care.
The larger pouch also features multiple seals, presumably to increase the chance of at least one closing with a perfect seal and remaining closed.
My first impression based on aesthetics of these pouches was that neither feels particularly premium, but functionality is the priority here. On that standard, these inexpensive pouches can do what they were designed for. In my tests, they did their job of keeping out water. However, I don’t know how long they will last. But if they last a beach holiday, the extra 10 or so spent seems like decent value.
So, a reasonably priced solution for beachgoers. They look potentially fragile like they won’t last a long time, but hopefully, they are more long-lasting than they look. If these pouches provide added protection and maybe allow you to capture underwater photos you wouldn’t have gotten otherwise, then they are good value.
Good combination set, with the phone pouch and the water proof dry bag for other small items.
Both survived a half hour submersion, without any sign of water intrusion on the kitchen towel I placed inside to test.
The dry bag has a triple zip lock, then folds over and Velcro attaches back to itself to give a seal that looks like it should work well. With the elasticated buckle strap, easy to keep with you.
The phone case took my Samsung Galaxy A32 5G (6.5 inch display) without its case and I could operate the phone without any issues. Having tested a number of these type of cases I personally prefer the ‘seamless’ type, without the border which this one has.
Both will be useful in an upcoming holiday, for use around the pool, to secure the phone and other small valuables. Both well-made items that are confident they will do the job they are designed for.
The material of the set looks quite cheap, but it works as said. The pouch material looks very basic, and has 3 layers of zips. After zipping it, you have to roll it up and lock with the velcro tape. I am not worried about the opening it seals properly. However the plasitic material is not sturdy and it looks cheap so need to be careful to avoid ripping it with anything sharp.
The phone case is quite small and it is difficult to put the phone in because it is very tight. It is like a thin flat pocket without any room for the thickness of the phone, so it is very tight for putting a phone. After inserting the phone, you can seal it back with the lock. I tested it in water and it is waterproof. Again the material is thin and not too sturdy. I can only say you get what you pay and this is kind of low end quality.
[Waterproof Phone Pouch]
Two pouches in this set, one clear one for the phone, and another for your wallet etc. They’re well made and I’m pretty happy the seals will do the trick, though the phone case seal is a bit chunky for my liking, I guess that’s necessary to ensure the seal on such a valuable item.
The case fits my iPhone 13 Pro Max, *just*, although it was a little snug and tricky to put in, I can use the phone through the plastic ok, though the face recognition doesn’t work and it’s hard to swipe up from the bottom of the screen so this really is about on the limit of what you could put in there.
The bigger pouch is made of a strong vinyl, much like an airbed or something, and it’s got a roll-over flap with multiple seals in. Not especially stylish but it does the job and I’m pretty happy it would withstand all but total immersion in deep water and will be fine for the intended use on the beach or watersports.
It’s large enough for your wallet and a few small items but probably wouldn’t want to over-fill it in case that caused it to break the seal or get damaged.
These are reasonably priced and provide a simple and effective solution for protecting your devices so I’m happy to recommend them.
This is a set of a waterproof bag together with a waterproof phone pouch. The bag makes a good impression. All seams are strong and tidy, either welded or in case of the waist belt sown 2 or 3 times with no loose threads hanging around. The triple zip lock and the sturdy Velcro ensure that no water can penetrate the seals. The belt measures (max) 33 in/84 cm, the bag 11 in/28 cm, for a total of 44 in/112 cm.
The phone pouch was totally waterproof in shallow water when I tested it. The phone could be operated whilst in the pouch without any problem. It is as well made as the bag. The phone pouch is attached to the lanyard by a strong and sturdy hanging hook, which can swivel freely. The lanyard could be a little wider, it is only a little over 1 cm wide, but it was ok when I tried it.
All in all this is a sturdy and well made waterproof bag together with a waterproof phone pouch.
It is very accurately described on the seller’s page with not much to add. Well made and very spacious – the phone pictured has a 6.6-inch screen in a thin case. Both the drybag and the phone case look watertight to me, but I have not tested them in real life. The lanyard is exactly 45 cm and I would struggle to use the phone and take pictures without taking the case off my neck. The lock is tight but bulky and I doubt a 7-inch screen phone would fit in easily as the opening is narrow.
Overall the brilliant handy travel kit I would recommend.
The phone case is not for large phones. Mine is a 6.7″ in a medium case and it was tight getting it in and out. That’s the first thing to consider. It does flag this in the product description in fairness.
The pouch has 3 seals and then it folds over 3 times and Velcro’s down. It feels pretty secure and is a decent size. I will use it for my wallet and keys. The phone case seals as all of these do. 2 levers pull the black edges tight together. There’s no revolution going on here. If you’ve had one of these before this won’t surprise you.
I put tissue in both pouches and submerged them for a while. I squeezed them to try to make the air come out as if they were sat on but they held fast. The straps on both feel good quality. Neither case has the buoyancy floats that some cases have so if you drop these with any weight in they will sink.
Touch works on the screen very well. It won’t read your fingerprints though so you’ll need a PIN when using the case.
This is a really good set. Very useful on a holiday. I think the price is fair. They don’t leak. I would have liked a slightly bigger phone case with the buoyancy pads but I like the addition of the pouch a lot.
A good set. I will get a lot of use out of it. I received this free of charge to review as part of the Vine Programme. Would I spend my own money on it? Yes I would.
