Great quality sound, I bought my son the next version up and honestly I thought I was buying that version however this headset does everything I need it to and it’s pretty comfortable. No issues at all with Bluetooth or wireless connectivity and we have multiple devices so no complaints.
Sound! The important part! Very clear, plenty loud for me but I’m sure some psychos want their stuff even louder? I don’t run them on max, no need to, they block external sound pretty dang good.
Im giving these a 10 out of 10. Compared to what some models of these gaming headsets cost, these are a solid build of purpose and functionality! Does all that I need them to do, convenient usb-c charge port, comfortable on the dome, sound amazing, and less thab $100!
Der Tragekomfort, die Akkulaufzeit und die allgemeine Verarbeitung gefallen mir sehr gut. Auch mit Brille sitzt das Headset gut und drckt nicht, wie es bei dem Vorgnger der Fall war.
Das es einen Funk- und einen Bluetooth-Modus gibt, kann das Headset mit beinahe jedem Zubehr verbunden werden, was ich ebenfalls sehr schtze.
I love the headset and I recommend it. They are super lightweight, no cords. Since I have started using them I haven’t gotten any headaches because they are not so heavy on my head
Das Headset ist mein erstes Kabelloses Headset fr die Konsole/PC, somit bin ich sehr gespannt wie es sich mit der Zeit schlgt Die Inbetriebnahme und das Update der Firmware ber die Swarm 2 App war kinderleicht.
Nach den ersten drei Stunden in Game und mit einer Xbox Party kann ich sagen der Sound war gut. Die Leute in der Party waren sehr gut zu hren und verstndlich, der Game Sound war klar und man hrten auch kleiner Details der Spielewelt gut. Was das Mic an geht gab es von den anderen aus der Party auch keine Beschwerden, ich war gut und deutlich zu hren, auch wenn ich mich jetzt wohl deutlich anders anhren als mit dem vorherigen Headset.
Wenn ich es lngere Zeit genutzt habe werde ich noch etwas mehr schreiben.
After previously owning 2 different $200 headsets and being on a budget I went for this cheaper option and im not disappointed. Its lighter weight so the band puts less pressure on the top of my head which is a huge plus over those other 2. One of which was the stealth 700 which felt like it was squeezing my whole head. I would recommend this over the stealth 700.
This headset for the most part is great, very comfortable, lightweight and the sound quality is fantastic. Unfortunately my fellow gamers say that from their point of view my sound is very very low. Tried altering the mic with no success. Would recommend for the sound quality alone.
The Turtle Beach Stealth 500 Wireless Gaming Headset is a good headset that has a couple of things going for it. The first is its amazing battery life. I have never had a wireless headset that could go for over a week between charges with normal usage. Even more surprising to me is that Turtle Beach achieved this type of battery life with such a lightweight headset. This headset is surprisingly comfortable to wear, even for long gaming sessions. Unfortunately, when it comes to audio, my praise for this headset drops off a bit. The sound isn’t bad, but it lacks virtually any bass, and the spatial aspect of the audio is mediocre at best. Also annoying to me is that if I toggle between my game and another application (such as my web browser), the volume resets to zero. Likewise, every time I turn the headset on, the volume resets to zero. It is just annoying having to turn the volume back up all the time. Despite these annoyances, it is actually a really good headset. While it would not be my top choice in gaming headsets, I have no issues with recommending it nonetheless.
I’ve always heard turtle Beach was king of headsets in the late 2000s as I grew up. Recently I’ve heard they weren’t great anymore but this pair wowed me!
The first thing I did was connect them to Bluetooth on my phone to hear the music quality and I fell in love!
For the first day I actually didn’t use them for anything besides music!!! The next day I finally connected them to my PC and just like the music, they’re awesome for gaming!
The app on your phone is really easy to use but the issue i have is the software on my PC! It says they need an update but won’t update my headset!!!
I did update them through the app but I had to connect them to my PS5 to update them through the app.
My PC still says they need an update but it’s my dongle that needs an update that won’t download!
The app sucks but you don’t really need it to make them work so I won’t knock them down for that. These are my daily headphones for music when I’m home though! They sound GREAT!!!
After using this headset for a week, I have a lot of good things to say about it. Despite being a full over-the-ear headset, it is light weight and comfortable, easy to wear for several hours in one sitting. The audio quality is great, music is sharp and clear, and the battery life is amazing. I have been using the headset in Bluetooth mode with an iPhone to listen to meetings and it works great. The headphones paired easily, connect immediately, and the mic is nice and clear in phone calls and Teams meetings. I also listen to music occasionally and enjoy how clean the audio is, highs are crisp, bass feels powerful. My only concern is that the head band and connection to the ear cups feels less sturdy than I’d like. I included pictures of the connection, from what I can tell it’s just a single plastic pivot point with a small wire running through the headband. Hopefully this is tougher than it feels because I really like the headphones and would be sad if they break.
In a sea of mediocre headsets, I didn’t expect to be impressed by these. But they’ve surprised me to the point I’m going to retire my HyperX Cloud 2 Pros and move to the Stealth 500s as my primary headset. The richness and depth of the positional audio really took me aback, and the battery life lasts me nearly a week when playing several hours a day. They also fully-charge in a couple of hours (perhaps less). The software is a bit peculiar and I wish it didn’t seemingly require use of both the PC and mobile apps for full functionality. But that’s easily overlooked, honestly. A better microphone would be welcome as I’ve had friends report the one from the Cloud 2 Pros is better, but they can still hear me on the Stealth 500s just fine. I also appreciate how incredibly lightweight they are. Priced reasonably and an easy recommend.
*Sound quality is good in both Bluetooth and wireless mode.
*After a long process of downloading the mobile app to update firmware, etc. the headset has no issues connecting to my pc and my phone with just a touch of the button to switch from wireless to bluetooth.
*Even without the use of software, it has great noise cancelation. Even with no sound playing through the headset, sounds surrounding me are really quiet.
*Mic works well, almost too well. It picks up everything around me. (A/C from across the room) But can be somewhat mitigated using the mobile app. (when it works)
*Headset fits nicely on my head and ears. Feels comfortable.
Cons:
*The “required” apps for both PC and mobile in order to get the full benefits of the headset do not work well. The mobile version only works randomly. One time it will find the headset, and the next it will sit on the connecting to your device forever, never finding it, even though I am using it to listen to music on my phone at the time. The description in the product listing says: “Swarm II Desktop & Mobile App with Advanced 10-Band EQ” The mobile app definitely does not have that. It just has the options shown in the pic.
*The pc version I can’t even get to work. It keeps telling me to update to the latest version (I downloaded directly from the Turtle Beach website), so I click on the notification, and it takes me to the update screen, which shows me that I have the latest version with nothing to download.
*The volume controls do not work if you are connected to your phone. Although this headset is not really meant for phone use mainly, so it’s not that big of a con, but just something to note.
They have good audio quality, and they are lightweight. Although they do turn off automatically after a few minutes when no sound is being played. Overall, very nice. Would recommend buying these.
Time will tell but so far these are very comfortable – the strap at the top means there’s very little pressure on your head. Ear cups are very comfortable and light but block out all sound. App is really handy for changing the EQ settings, the superhuman settings is really handy and I like that you can turn up the footsteps noise. Great buy!
