This cycling helmet has a premium feel to it. The glossy rainbow design looks great, and the chin padding adds extra comfort. It’s a high-quality helmet that offers good value for money and my fussy daughter absolutely loves it!
This is a lovely coloured helmet that feels sturdy, strong and very light. It has a solid outer layer, then an expanded polystyrene inner, with a further shaped soft foam pad to make it comfortable. The cutouts travel through all of the internal layers, and there are a good amount of them, so I imagine that it’s petty cool in use.
The black strapping is the standard polyester type, and the plastic buckles all feel pretty sturdy. To the back is a dial that you can twist to adjust the diameter of the inner helmet so you can get it nice and snug, and it does adjust quite a lot. Just as a guide, I measured it as 49cm at its smallest, and 54cm at its largest.
In all this feels like a pretty solid helmet that stays put and should do its job. The different colourways mean there’s something to appeal to everyone, and the finish is really very good for the price. I got the rainbow version along with a set of unicorn wrist, elbow and knee pads for my unicorn-obsessed niece who’s nagging her mum for a scooter like all her friends, at the mo. I just know she’s going to love them, which is half the battle of getting any kid to wear them. A nice quality helmet all-round.
This helmet looks fabulous, feels excellent, and offers top-notch protection. It’s been a hit during all our cycling and scootering adventures. If you’re looking for a helmet that combines safety with a splash of fun, this is the one to go for!
This is an attractive little helmet in pastel rainbow colours and small stars. It has good ventilation to stop the youngster from getting too hot. There are two vents on the front as well as two on the back.There is also a flower vented pattern on the top of the head . The helmet is also well padded with a really comfortable chin strap as well as padding on the rim of the helmet and star pattern padding on the head part. The helmet is adjustable with a dial at the rear which allows for a more accurate fit. This is a small size helmet which fits heads 48-54 cms. The description indicates a 3-8 year old size but of course it is dependent on the size of the child. I have got this helmet to use with a scooter and a bike as I always advocate safety first when using ride ons.
WE love the style of this, the paintjobs very cool and the finish is glossy. The headband is adjustable with a twist button and the chinstraps are also adjustable, Lovely
This helmet arrived wrapped in plastic bubble wrap and seems to be free of damage. It looks and feels like it is well-made, the weight is similar to other kid’s helmets we’ve owned. There were no instructions on how to adjust the straps so I muddled through a bit to get to the smallest setting. There is a removable protective chin pad which doesn’t actually wrap around enough to cover the buckle if the helmet strap is in the shortest mode. The dial at the back to adjust the fit works well and went small enough. There’s fabric padding on the top and along the forehead – no complaints regarding comfort from my child when wearing it.
The only slight disappointment is that the product description says 2-8 years, age range further down the page says 3-8 years. My child is about to turn three and is big for her age, but this wobbled about a bit if she shook her head, mostly due to not being able to reduce the chin strap length any further.
I think this is a great helmet and once she’s grown into it more, it will be happily used. The price is along what I think is fair for a helmet. I would say this size is better for an average sized 5-8+ year old.

I think this is a good-quality helmet. In terms of build quality and comfort, I can’t fault it. The helmet is quite large, in a good way, and it provides excellent protection for a child’s head. It has sufficient padding on the inside, making it comfortable to wear. The plastic strap with padding that goes over the top of the child’s head can be adjusted using a special knob at the back. While the size is adjustable, bear in mind that it is not a small helmet. The product description mentions a starting age of 3, but I am not quite sure it wouldn’t be too large for a 3-year-old. The length of the adjustable strap can be reduced quite significantly, though.
This helmet is for heads measuring between 48-54 cm (according to the product description) or 50-55 cm (according to the product listing pictures). Please use your child’s head measurement to decide if it will be a good fit; don’t rely solely on the claims that it is suitable for 3-year-olds.
