Needed something for my over-engineered 3070 monster, and this does the job well. My card came with a custom bracket but it blocks some of the intake airflow, which is very silly.
This is very simple to use and holds it steady, removing all sag from the card. The magnet is not super-strong, but for me that’s a benefit, as I don’t want a strong magnet in my case for no good reason.
Overall this is a decent little stand at a good price, and gets four stars.
Should’ve had this sooner! My GPU was starting to tip due to a few screws becoming loose but once I got this, instantly became more sturdy and durable. Perfect for any rig. Highly recommended!
Nice and easy to use support bracket.
It appears that it is quite robust and has given great support.
Its adjustable to si was able to get the height needed for my graphics card.
This unit is a simple black design with a single threaded screw and a nut that lets you tighten at the desired height then place under the GPU to prop up the far hanging corner.
Pretty decent price for what it is so i’d recommend.
This is a fairly basic GPU support bracket, but it’s pretty much all you really need! It is decent quality and is currently supporting an older 2070 super graphics card in my daughters PC. Easy to use and install – definitely recommended!
You’d be suprised how much a GPU sags unless you actually look and measure it. Especially the larger cards nowadays.
Very effective, is magnetic on the bottom lso It stays attached to the case while supportingk the GPU. Very simple item, unscrew the top until the GPU is leveled and secure it with the nut. Very stealthy in a black case.
Happy to recommend. Great price for a good quality must have item
I picked this up for 3070 which I only recently noticed was dangling a little lower than I’d like inside the case!
This simply unscrews to a set level and then stays-put with the bottom rubber stop. Simple, easy.
It used to be that video cards were relatively small. There weren’t any worries about causing damage just by slotting it in to the motherboard, and letting it hang. Now though, graphics cards are big, heavy beasts. Unless you’re mounting it vertically, you’re probably going to want to support it somehow.
This is a nice and simple, cheap option. The design is basic – three pieces, the cylinder, the screw and a locking nut. The main cylinder has a magnet at the bottom, so it’ll stay in place against your case. The screw can be adjusted to nearly double the length, giving you some flexibility over which slot you use.
Other products may provide greater support, but if you’ve blown your budget on the graphics card, then this will do the job of supporting your pride and joy well enough.
This unusual GPU support bracket by upHere gaming measures 14 x 14 x 70 millimetres.
The bracket is made of precision metal with part of the cylinder being able to be unscrewed so that it can be adjusted to fit in the space between the bottom of your GPU and the case.
On the bottom and top of this cylinder is a rubber pad to cushion the upper and low part it is touching which is useful.
The lower half also has a magnet which is apparently to keep the cylinder vertically in place although I found the magnet far too weak and would not even hold the cylinder if I knocked it at all.
There is additionally a locking collar which locks the thread when in the correct position.
Overall I found this GPU sag solution worked quite well and looks cool too. It is well made and original although the magnet for keeping it placed is just not strong enough so I have taken a star off for that but for the price it is worth while.
First off let me just make this clear – yes, this is just a glorified nut and bolt.
Having said that, this product has a couple of tricks up its sleeve that absolutely make it worth the money.
Firstly, the base of the stand has a magnet in it and whilst it isn’t particularly strong, it is strong enough to help it stay in one place if it isn’t disturbed.
Secondly, both sides have a rubber spacer, to help prevent scrapes and damage to either your case or your GPU.
With GPUs getting bigger and bigger, but the support on the motherboard/case not getting any better I think we are now at a time where having a support bracket is not just a nice to have but a most to help make sure your motherboard is safe.
I have seen many horror stories where the GPU tore out the PCIE slot on motherboards because of the weight and this product 100% alleviates that issue.
At only 7 (at the time of writing) this seems like a very niece support that functionally serves its purpose and doesnt break the bank. Would recommned!
I got this to stabilise my graphics card in the tower case i have. In theory it is a good idea, a strut as it were preventing your card from bowing especially when they are long and your PC is a tower type.
It works by simply twisting until the rubber pads on either end have enough pressure to hold it in place. Unfortunately this proved unsuccessful for me as the card didn’t have a large enough area to land the pad that lined up with my slightly irregular shaped case.
The theory though is sound and would work for most.
Cheap but useful solution.
