It is a nice crawling crab at a good price that works well as a toy to enjoy or as a gift item. It has a WOW factor when used for the first time especially when it does not move forward or backwards but when it moves to the side (just like a crab). It has nice design and good colours. This crab can crawl, have lights and good sounds that attracts kids. The quality is good for the price and the size is about right. Highly Recommended!

This is such a good idea! My friends little one is developmentally delayed when it comes to crawling so I thought it would be a good idea to try this little crawling crab out.

It has definitely improved his movement and I think before long he will be crawling. He is entranced by the sound, the bright colours appear to catch his eye, it looks good and he finds it so funny and entertaining.

We found that it moved better on a hard wood flooring, it isn’t great on carpet but still definitely worth it.

The sensory toy is in the shape of a crab with 6 moving legs. It moves sideways with moving legs, like a crab, and stops before hitting objects by means of sensors in both sides. It has flashing eyes and can play repetitive tune, which can get a bit annoying after a while, but the tune can be muted. It is rechargeable using an included USB-C cable.

It is made of a good plastic material with no sharp edges. The control buttons are under the crab above the legs, which is a bit awkward, because when you are turning it on and off, adjusting the speed and the sound the legs are moving.

It moves really well on a hard floor, but struggles on carpet.

I decided to order this toy crab for my 10 month old and I’m glad I did as she is absolutely mesmerised by it! However be aware that it can become annoying for adults! The toy arrived boxed and comes with a USB charging cable and instructions.

The toy is very light in weight and comes in a bright orange colour with red claws and grey legs. I really like that this toy crab is rechargeable instead of having to use batteries. It also thankfully comes with the option to turn off the repeating music it plays over and over and over!

Once powered on, the crab goes crazy and begins crawling about everywhere in different directions with it’s legs going wild. This toy crab also has a speed button which allows you to slown down how fast it goes.

This toy can keep your child entertained for ages as they seem so entertained by it! I think the snapping noise it’s legs make also adds to the entertainment value. You obviously need to be careful with younger children. My baby has managed to catch it a few times and then attempts to put it in her mouth. There doesn’t appear to be any bits that could be a choking hazard, but all the same, best to put it back on the floor and let it move off again.

Overall it definitely managed to get on my nerves but my baby loves it. So much so that we got her two so they can both go off in different directions. Great fun, decently priced and very entertaining.

Baby loves it! Lots of stimulation with the colours, sounds and movement. It’s a cute critter and definely keeps little one amused! Good little toy at a good price. Would make a nice gift!

This is a fun toy. Comes with a USB cable so great that no batteries are required. Easy and quick to charge.
The legs are a bit creepy when they are still moving around and you have it in your hand to change the settings or turn it off.
The colour of the crab that I received is orange with red claws, which is great for any girl or boy.
There is a switch underneath to turn it off and on and the option to have it with sound or not. There is a separate button for speed control. The USB port is also on the belly.
The eyes have flashing lights in them when it is moving. The crab goes from side to side changing direction when it nears an object. This is controlled by sensors on both sides on the crab. It worked perfectly on most obstacles it comes across. However, avoid any reflective surfaces. we have a metallic fridge and the sensors on the crab didn’t recognise this so it didn’t change direction.
The crab needs space to travel as it can get stuck between small areas , like corners of rooms and door thresholds. Works on both hard floor and carpet but travels better/quicker on the hard floor.
I prefer it with the music on, it is great fun. I got this for a newborn that can use it in a couple of months when practicing tummy time and crawling. We tested it at home and our 3 year old thought it was hilarious.

It seems reasonably robust but I guess the weak parts are the crawling feet and the gear wheel. Very disappointingly though It didn’t come with any instructions but looking on the underside I discovered a slide switch, a USB type C charging port and a button which I found changes the speed from slow, medium to fast. The toy came partially charged and so I was able to test it out immediately. The switch is a three position one which is either off, on without sound, or on with sound. Having switched it on it worked perfectly on our tiled kitchen floor, and also on one of our carpeted rooms but not in another because the pile was obviously too thick. When it is running it crawls sideways as a crab should with its eyes and body lighting up as it goes and of course the sound is optional. It managed to avoid hitting anything due to the built-in sensor so that when it senses an object it reverses and moves away, although on occasions it did get stuck.

To recharge it a cable is provided but no power adapter and during the process a red LED comes on, and then goes off when fully charged. According to the description on the web it should take 2 hours to fully charge and then will last for about 40 to 60 minutes of constant use.

Overall I think this should be perfect for my three year old Grandson, and I’m sure he will get a lot of fun out of it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works ok except on thick carpet but no instructions

Never mind the kids. I wanted to keep this. Well-made, it feels like it will last, and smooth to the touch. It has three speed settings and scuttles sideways around the room in a highly-comedic fashion. The sound quality is good. But I found the music very repetitive after a relatively short period. Parents will be glad to know you can turn the music off. It is highly cute and I was very tempted to keep it for entertainment value – but the cat was not amused. It is now on it’s way to a colleague’s newly-arrived nephew. 🙁

Even though the tune is repetitive. My 4 month old loves it. It encourages tummy time and helps him develop his neck muscles with its constant movements.

It’s rechargeable so no excuse of losing the batteries.

My cats also love it. One tried hunting it until it came back. She panicked.

It has sensors on each claw so it avoids bumping into things.
