Hands-On Video

Need some guidance on how to install the Facial Interface & Foam Replacement Set on your Meta Quest 2? Have a look at our hands-on videos.

IS THE FOAM WATERPROOF?

No, the foam is not waterproof. It is covered in a water-resistant PU leather material which offers some protection against sweat by preventing most of it from soaking through.

WILL IT IMPROVE FOV?

The thinner Standard foam is designed to bring you closer to the lens for a wider FOV. The actual FOV experienced among users will ultimately be determined by one’s face shape and size.

WILL THE MINIMAL FOAMS GIVE ME A WIDER FOV?

They can enhance the FOV as they are thinner than the stock foam, and the Standard and Comfort versions in the standard and colored editions. The actual FOV experienced among users will ultimately be determined by one’s face shape and size.

WHICH GLASSES SPACER IS THE VR COVER FACIAL INTERFACE COMPATIBLE WITH?

The facial interface in this set does not work with the stock glasses spacer that comes with the Quest 2 headset. For more room between the display and your glasses, use the thicker Comfort foam or the VR Cover Facial Interface Spacer for Quest 2.

CAN I USE THE COTTON OR SILICONE COVERS ON YOUR PU LEATHER FOAM REPLACEMENTS?

The cotton and silicone covers are designed to fit on the original Quest 2 facial gasket only and won’t work on our custom facial interfaces and foams.

This interface with the thicker Comfort foam is a perfect fit for me just like I was hoping. The stock interface by itself was too shallow and the front of my nose was hitting the plastic inside the headset. I tried the silicone cover which solved that problem but it was uncomfortable and left red marks on my face. This interface leaves virtually no marks behind and it’s very comfortable and on top of that it looks really cool too since its my favorite color. No proximity sensor problems either, just make sure the edge of the pad is at the inside edge of the interface when installing.

This is amazing!! Helps with the spacing between my glasses and the lense. I got the cute pink one and it really makes my Quest look cuter ^.^ love the feeling definitely worth the buy!!

Amazing Feels so much better than the original Meta sponge, I’ve been using this for a long while now and it doesn’t annoy me like the OEM one, this is amazing, it feels like I got a pillow around my eyes, absolutely a great purchase, this face cover is clearly beating the competition in my opinion.

We have two Meta’s in our household. We got the one to see how it worked, how comfortable it was, and how well it blocked out light. We saw it on a Meta video we were watching and noticed the guy had his quest decked out. We found out what he had and decided to try one of these. We have had it for a few weeks and love it so much we just bought a second one for the other quest. This helps alleviate pressure on the face, is comfortable and doesn’t cause you to sweat so much on the face (if you use these for long periods you know what I am talking about) and take away the light that comes in at the nose piece.

after trying multiple facial interfaces, i can finally breath. this might be the only one that has an option to put the fins back so that they dont close your nose. the sacrifice is that there’s a little light coming through from below, but honestly i never notice it once the device is on.

So it’s exactly what I want, comfort is a bit better and it’s small and form fitting. Very stylish, I love the YouTuber ThrillSeeker so of course I picked this version I also love the pink an I got the Kiwi pink bands for the hands.

Only complaint is it’s not a HUGE difference for me to think it’s worth 30 bucks. Maybe 15-20 dollars. 1 3D printed plastic piece and 2 Velcro pieces. For style an to support the creator I watch is why I justify the 30 dollar price though, so to each their own.

    Works Grea

Comfortable and easy to put on while having sick pink accent makes the headset look really cool. The lens cover is great and easy to cover the lenses while being at any IPD setting but does smudge them so it’s good to always wipe them with a microfiber cloth after taking the lens cover off.
Can’t use with Meta official glasses spacer which kinda sucks but my eyesight isn’t that bad so it’s okay could be worse for other users though.
Also you get to support Thrill so

It does not block the nose 100%, but I have had other light blockers and this one at least stays in place. I ended up putting another nose piece on top of it underneath the other nose blocker that comes with it. Now there is no light leakage and it is just plain awesome. It comes with two different pads and I’m not sure why, but I feel like they should be different. They are the exact same pad just two of them. It can get sweaty at times, but it’s really good for something being immersive. It might not be perfect but it is definitely the best one I have found so far after trying a few.

If you’ve ever used default interface for the quest 2, you’ll know how uncomfortable it can be. Even with the silicon cover, it’s too stiff and compresses your sinuses uncomfortable, as well as becoming very uncomfortable with any sweating. This facial interface feels more like memory foam and the semi-permeable cover makes it quite comfortable during long sessions in beat saber. The air gaps provide surprisingly good ventilation, although it can make my eyes feel like they are drying a bit. The only downside is that the rubber nose guard doesn’t block out the light as well as the quests native interface, but I don’t really mind that.

Great price, really comfortable compared to the original that came with my quest. The nose section to block out light is also effective, Great addition, makes all the difference if you spend alot of time on the quest 2.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI went out of my way to get the Oasis edition because the blue looks SUPER nice with the color of the headset itself, but the real win is in the facial interface and foam liner. The stock liner with the silicone cover pulled at my cheeks or forehead and was always at least a little uncomfortable, even with the elite strap/battery helping to counter-weight at the back. With how carefully I had to try and position it to be comfortable, I couldn’t align it properly for the best lens focus to actually SEE with. It was starting to feel like a deal breaker because I couldn’t use the Quest for very long without discomfort and constant adjusting.

I bought this, popped it on, and ALL of my discomfort is GONE. Every ounce of it. I can adjust the angle and tightness however I want and my comfort isn’t affected whatsoever. This thing is so comfy, and stays nice and cool. It also looks amazing, and the velcro-style attachment is really well done and makes things very easy to adjust. It also comes in a nice little plastic capsule and just radiates high quality all around. I’m so happy with this. I’d have paid much more for something this perfect but I’m grateful that I didn’t have to.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersReally like the vent and the nose shield. Light leaks in much less, and the vent works really well, I never get fogged up anymore. My only complaint, and it’s not enough for me to not rate this product a 5/5, is the foam is a little…weak? With the puffiest if the two interfaces, my face still feels a little too close to the eyepieces, and this foam ‘settles’ quite a bit over a session, so it gets looser as time goes on. Still much more comfortable than the opposite end of the spectrum, the hard as a rock facial interface that ships with the quest 2, but I suppose my dream product would be somewhere in the middle, like a memory foam type of thing.

    It’s a must buy item.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBetter than I expected! It comes with two pads, one for extra comfort and a thinner one that may help improve your field of view in VR. I thought the foam cover would attach through cheap adhesive, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out it actually uses velcro which makes the installation and swapping process way easier.

The included lens cover works as expected and it came with a sample of disposable hygienic covers which is a nice plus for when I want to let people try out the headset but don’t want it to get sweaty and gross.

Overall, pleasantly satisfied with my order. Will update if anything changes!

Simple and comfortable. Adds a splash of color too!
