I am pleased with the tracker. It’s easy to use good battery life and with good support if you have technical difficulties. I will probably buy another one soon. Good valve.
I bought this to use a car tracker, for security, and also when it goes into the garage I can get alerts when they move the car or test drive it. You can even get notifications if the car gets bumped. The tracking ability of these devices is awesome, I’ve had the non 4g version for over 5 years and the 4g version is even better, it will direct you to the exact spot your car is parked. The battery lasts for months and months and it’s small enough to hide where you want and also has a really strong magnet. I also have smart tags but this is far more reliable and also gives an exact location. I like that this is also usb c charging, I would definitely recommend, great value for price!
After trying a cheapo GPS tracker I realised that my network provider doesn’t use 2G so it didn’t work. The amount on sale that are 2G only is vast so something to consider when looking for a tracker. Found this item which is 4G, popped the sim card in and within 30 seconds the blue and yellow led flashed showing it was working. Sent the sim card an sms code from my phone and got a reply straight away with a link to Google Maps. Clicked the link and I’d say it was accurate to within 2 metres!!! Brilliant. This unit is slightly larger than the 2G trackers but fine for me and it’s intended purpose. Not checked the magnet or checked it’s water tight as claimed as I’ll be using inside only.
Great device.
Currently using in my caravan.
Strong magnet and easy to hide away.
I can see the location of my caravan in real time within a couple of metres.
Bought this for my mobility scooter. It requires an activated phone SIM to receive the GPS signal.but only uses your credit when the scooter is moving.other wise it seems to stay on standby I think without using credit or very little. I’m still testing it but up to now it’s been excellent. Battery seems to be quite good to. only used approx 30 percent in about 6 weeks. Should give out a battery warning at 20 percent.then it’s time to recharge.accurate GPS up to approx10-15 metres.very pleased with this product.
I’m still testing the device but so far ir seems to work really well. I’ll know more when I take it to Spain later this year, but definitely good value for money.
This was so easy to setup and track our new car there is a good Youtube video on setup and use down loaded the app which is great the app works really well glad I bought i
Bought this product a week ago and I was having difficulty in setting up. Before I could reach out for assistance, the seller had already emailed me to ask about my experience with the product. The seller gave me a WhatsApp number and guided me through the set up process and also followed up continuously to ensure I was happy with the product.
Good customer service and product is also good. It serves its purpose.
This unit is robust and well made. Well presented in a box with a storage pouch when not in use.
Setting up was pretty easy too, and unlike some Chinese software and apps, this one worked well, was easy to understand and operate.
I originally bought one of these 4 years ago as a tracker for my motorcycle. It provides a subscription free option for keeping track of your vehicle. The battery life is very good – lasts about a month or two depending on use. The unit itself is palm sized and fairly easy to hide within your vehicle, I wouldnt however rely on the magnet if you at attaching it underneath your vehicle, I use strong velcro to keep mine in place.
I bought a giffgaff sim for the tracker and stuck a tenner on it 4 years ago – I’ve yet to need to top it up. It provides reliable tracking and has other great features such as geofencing and vibration alarm. You can track it via the tkstar website or the very useful app which is free to download.
The setup procedure isnt particularly easy- but most of the trackers I have purchased have come with decent instructions. I ended up writing a blog post with a guide on how to set these up, to make things easier for my friends who had bought them. http://hardtailchop.com/tkstar-gps-tracker
4 years later I now own 5 of these trackers! 3 for motorcycles, one for the car and another model (which looks like a rear light) for my bicycle. The customer support is particularly good and they have been able to add all of my trackers to the same app so I can track them easily.
I’ve recommended this tracker to many of my biker friends as a more cost effective option to the subscription based models – and they are also very happy with the product.
Will definitely buy more of these if I require them.
