Pretty standard line.
I did not notice any difference with what I was using before, it breaks just as often, which thankfully it is not too often.
It will probably enough to fill 4 to 5 spools, so it will last me a few seasons.
The price is also average.
Plenty of replacement cord in this pack offers goof value for money.
The thickness of the cords is as described, selecting the correct size means it is easy to fit.
Bright orange cord means it is easy to see while strimming and it works as good as any normal shaped strimmer cord.
This is great value for my strimmer, with 2 x 50m each, so thats 100m of this stuff, which will last me a good long while. Very easy to use and pretty standard as far as trimmer wire goes. Seems to last fairly well too. I only use about 1-2meters at a time, which usually lasts me a while anyway as long as I don’t trim too many thicker plants or hit any stones/bricks.
Comes in two colours, orange and blue. I prefer the orange as you can easily find bits that have come off when strimming.
I’d certainly recommend, its good value, and lasts.
works great to replace non existent or worn out strimmer line on your strimmer, easy to fit and works fine, seems to last a little longer than the last lot I had in it previously too.
These strimmer cords are quite stiff, more so than the stiffer than the red Hilka cord I’ve used up until now, and the blue one seems to be stiffer than the orange. This makes it a bit tough going to wind onto the strimmer spool, especially the blue one, which will happily unwind like a clock spring if you let go whilst winding.
Once you’ve got it on there and in the strimmer though, wow. Weeds that would snap the Hilka cord stand no chance against this stuff. I wound one orange and one blue (my Flymo strimmer has dual spools) to see if one would get worn down before the other, but so far they’re both intact.
I’ve also unwound the existing Hilka cord from a cordless Bosch strimmer and loaded it up with the blue stuff. There are some beefy thistles at the allotment and their days are now numbered.
I gave this to my mate who was about to start his summer strim but was lacking the cord to do so

The diameter of the line is consistant throughout and it performes perfectly

We have an old black and decker strimmer that it’s hard to find replacement cartridges for – happily though, they can be dismantled and these can be wrapped around to refill and existing cartridge easily. They work perfectly and I went to town using the orange one this weekend on all the weeds that had grown out of our patio. Super!
I chose this strimmer line as a replacement for my Titan cordless grass trimmer. The 1.6 mm is the perfect thickness, and is cheaper than a replacement I bought from the original retailer last year.
I think the twin pack with a total of 100m for 7.99 is great value, and I also like the fact that it is in two colours. The orange really stands out, which is useful when checking if it needs more on the spool.
I also have a Bosch strimmer which I use at our caravan, so I will take the blue one there to try in that machine.
The line arrives well packed and is not tangled, making it easy to wind around your spool.
I am very happy with this product.

These are handy if you need to replace your strimmer line. I didn’t realise when purchasing but these are much thinner than my existing strimmer line. I checked online and it said this size is suitable for grass. At this length I imagine it would last quite some time. I think this is good value for the length provided however it is unfortunately too thin for my device.
This is a great item two spools of wire. Will last a season out. This is made of good quality seems nice and strong.

This is such a great and cheap way to replace the cord on your strimmer. Its a lot cheaper, than buying the whole cord unit from the manufacturer, and there is enough there to last you years.
This is a great buy
You get two rolls of quality 50m, 1.6mm thick nylon line, which is great value for money. The quality of the line is fine for its use, it’s thick enough for most trimmers and will fit into the reel quite easily, with the long length this arguably makes your trimmer have a better ease of use, some by not needing to restring and reroll the line.
I reeled up the spool on the trimmer with this line and got to work and although the grass wasn’t really thick it was hacking it down really well, every bit as good as much more expensive branded lines, I’m really happy with it, especially the price
This cord is quite a lot thinner than my usual strimmer cord. However there is a lot of it for the money,w hich represents excellent value and should last me a very long time. I am more than prepared to give up longevity of the individual pieces of the cord, given the long term supply
It’s easy to wind onto the reel of our strimmer and plenty of length. I used it on Saturday and it was just the same as using the stuff from wickes but at a fraction of the price. If you are after a good wire to cut through deep grass and light bramble then you won’t be disappointed
100m of trimmer cord is a lot, and will take me a long time to use! Quality is good, the equivalent thickness of my current strimmer, is easily wound on to an empty spool and works smoothly enough. Each colour comes held together with a small cable tie, keeping it nicely in place until required.
This trimmer cord is great value, excellent quality and I can recommend!
Simple is good and this 1.6mm strimmer line does its job perfectly. Nothing flashy to describe here: it’s just a straightforward product that works exactly as it should. Very good.
2 rolls of 1.6mm grass trimmer cord arrived simply wrapped in a plastic bag.
This afternoon I’ve just wound about 2-3m of the blue cord onto the spool of my Bosch UniversalGrassCut trimmer, and it worked just fine (at least no different to the previous generic trimmer cord I’ve used).
I expect this pack should last me at least a couple of years, if not longer.
Now that Summer is finally here from Mid May 2024, our grass and borders, are going to be trimmed quite often, and this combo of light blue and bright orange nylon strimmer wire is going to be so useful.

100mtr of strimming nylon for under 8 at time of review is reasonable value for money, an extra 1 can get you twice as much if you need that much line. My grass will not care that its blue or red line instead of the opaque white colour its got at the moment.
I have only just wound my spool with my current line so I cant give a review of how it cuts yet but be sure I will be back to tell how it goes once I need to respool my strimmer.
Pleased to have this in my shed ready for use.
