Maintenance and Care Tips:
- Empty the water in the water pipe: After each use, be sure to drain the water in the water pipe. This prevents water from accumulating inside the pipes and reduces the growth of bacteria and algae.
- Stow your water hose: Use a reel or hose reel to stow your water hose so it doesn’t drag on the ground and be exposed to sunlight. This prevents water pipes from wearing out and aging.

Garden Hose Pipe Spray Gun and fittings.
This spray gun set makes a good starter kit as it has all the fittings that you need to connect to a new hose pipe.
The fittings attached to the hose pipe easily and did not have any leaks which is always a good start. The tap adaptor also was a good fit.
The spray gun clicks into the fitting and away you go. There are 10 spray pattens to choose from all selectable by turning the front ring.
A nice added touch is the supply of 4 spare O rings in case you damage one over time, and the connection starts leaking.
I have had a few plastic spray guns over the years and I find that they can easily be damaged by frosts and any water inside becoming frozen. Therefore, I would always recommend storing them indoors over winter to avoid such damage.
Overall a nice set.
Our home area has mains pressure that pressure washers pointless. The snag being that it tends to destroy poor quality spray heads. This one looked a little basic but so far it has survived and held the water OK. The hose adapters do their job OK as well.
So why lose one star. Mainly as the number of different sprat patterns seem pointless and it’s just a gimmick to add a sales feature. A jet and a couple of spray patterns would cover everything one needs a hose for so all the others just mean a lot of turning the head to get back to a normal jet and more joints to potentially fail.
This was really easy to attach to our existing garden hope – I just removed the existing single nozzle. This one gives me 10 different spray patterns to use – great for clearing up / watering / cleaning etc.
It’s cheap and does the job but In terms of longevity and sturdiness I am not convinced it will last for a long time, but only time will tell!
In the box you get the watering gun, 2 x hose ends (1 with auto stop), a hose connector, and some replacement rubber seals for when the ones in the items fail. 9 of the 10 watering patterns work fine, except the the soaker watering pattern, which just allows all the water to just dribble out the rose straight onto your shoes. The quick release connectors are a bit stiff to use, but do the job of not leaking very well. The gun has a flow rate screw on the back, as well as a flip down piece to keep the trigger engaged for periods of long use, to save you from having to keep the trigger depressed. It would have got 5 stars of it was a 9 pattern water gun.
At just under a tenner this spray gun works like most others do, it has an overall flow rate, a trigger to start and stop the water and clip to hold the trigger open. There are a number if common spray types too.
Included in teh package was a number of seals for the various connections in the box, Hose to Hose connections, male/female connectors and a tap connector etc
It doesnt have the feel of the more expensive named brands but it seems to work ok for now.
Hard to go wrong witht he price.
This is an excellent spray gun. It seems well made; fairly robust and it offers some additional features that other spray guns don’t. It also comes with a useful range of connection accessories and some spare silicone washers.
It is slightly bigger than any other spray gun I’ve used but it is more comfortable as a result. It fits my hand better and just feels that bit more substantial; especially the trigger. Like all the other similar products you can lock the trigger open to save you having to hold it open. This one has a nice feature, which is perhaps just a happy accident but may well have been designed that way. I discovered that with a little flick of the wrist you can lock and unlock the trigger very easily using only one hand. It’s a small thing but it does make using the gun a wee bit easier.
There are 10 spray options most of which are standard on all hose guns of this type. However, this one offers some I’ve never seen before and which are quite useful. For me the most useful is the verticle option which gives a narrow “blade” of water and is great for reaching hidden areas. I found it to be good at flushing out spiders from behind the glass of my van’s side mirrors.
Accompanying the main head are some accessories to help you with fitting it to various types of tap, for example. However the main hose end connectors are only suitable for standard plastic hoses. I have one of those latex core, expanding hoses and it would be virtually impossible to use one of these to replace the factory fitted ones should you need to.
Apart from that minor issue over the connectors this is a very nice bit of kit. It works very well and is comfortable to use. At 9.99 it seems very well priced and I am very happy to recommend it.
This spray nozzle is made from plastic and is very light. There are plenty of different spray settings, and they all work well. I am using it with an adapter on an old pump sprayer and it works great with no leaks. Better than carrying a large watering can around .
The “trigger” movement feels a little loose, and I’m not sure how long it will last in regular use. For 9.99 (at the time of review) it’s a little expensive for plastic construction but it does come with various adapters and spare washers so…
