I wanted a short section of hose to extend my existing pipe by a couple of metres, and this is exactly what I have been able to do with this 3 metre length of standard plastic hosepipe. I have a much longer hose on a reel, and by attaching the extra length to the reel to plug into my outside tap, I have been able to move the reel further and my hose now reaches the front garden from the tap at the back of the house.
The hose itself is well made and should last a reasonable amount of time. It was tightly coiled on arrival, and is a bit stiff and inflexible, so it does need to be uncoiled and the kinks removed before use. It came with connectors, which so far have worked fine, and I have not had any leaks. The price is reasonable, but not cheap, so overall, for what I wanted it for, it has been a good buy.

PRODUCT: Garden hose pipe, 3m / 9.8ft and 3 x connectors (2 female push fit and one male).
FUNCTION: This arrived tightly coiled within a plastic bag. I could see before opening the bag that the inner part of the coil (the part that was the tightest wrapped) was badly kinked. The hose was just too ridged to be coiled that tightly. My worry was that this would impede its performance.
Having set up the hose, it does work but I haven’t managed to manipulate the deep kinks out yet.
As a budget option, for connecting two sprinklers, or extending your existing hose, this does do the job and it comes with the connectors you’ll need too. At the time of this review the hose was 9.99 which I think is reasonable.
I needed an extra length of hose to connect two sreeinklers together and so ordered this set.
For the 3 meters I needed it didn’t need to be a non-kink fancy pants hose pipe and this isn’t but that isn’t to say it isn’t decent quality – it has thick, nylon reinforced walls so that is good enough for me.
This set comes with two female push fit connectors and a male connector which was exactly what I needed.
After daisy chaining the sprinklers together it means I can water a much larger area of garden without needing to move them about . The connectors are of good quality and don’t leak so – far so good.
This had everything I needed with nothing wasted – I needed/used every connector and I’m very happy.
