I loved playing this game as a kid and now I get to play it with my own children. My daughters are 4 and 6 but it didn’t take them long to get the hang of it. I loved watching them enjoy playing with it and it’s become one of our go to family games. For 7.99 you can’t go wrong at all.
A great price for this fun game suitable for all the family. Press the dome in the centre to throw the dice and move your coloured pegs around the board. Little ones can learn their colours, count and hand / eye co-ordination. The game is well made and robust, colourful and a game that everyone can play. We loved it and it got very competitive.
This is a new family game that we have all enjoyed playing together. So much fun. Reminds me of when I used to play a similar game in my childhood with my brother. Kids have asked to play this everyday since.
I remember this game from my dim and distant youth and it’s very easy to play. The sound of the dice “popper” is an instant throwback! Such a simple game that kids can pick it up in seconds, and it’s easy to bring out for a game on a wet afternoon. It’s pretty well built and works nicely, we had no problems with the dice popper or the play pieces and I’m hoping it will last for a good while to come.
This abeec Pop And Hop Board Game is a classic idea and a game I remember playing a version of as a child.
The game has four counters for four players and the aim it to be the first one to get all of the pieces home by moving the spaces that corresponds with the final result of the dice.
This is a simple game but it is fun for children and perfect for families because of the simplicity of the rules meaning both young and old can enjoy the game. The pressing of the dice in the centre always adds to the fun of this game just because of the uniqueness of this method.
The game is a good quality and will hopefully last a long time.
I am happy with this game and we have enjoyed playing it, an affordable and fun game for families.
This is a cheaper version of the game Frustration that i had as a child and just as much fun.
This is more cheaply made and from memory i think the playing board is a bit smaller but it is still great fun. The quality is good enough and should last a long time. The dice is contained in a plastic dome in the center of the board and rolled by pressing and releasing the dome. For some reason this is much more exciting than just rolling a dice.
The game is for 2 to 4 players and doesn’t take too long to play so it can be played with young children.
Great fun and definitely worth the money.
Pretty much exactly the same as the branded version of the game I had as a child. The dice has the nice popping sound too. The only difference is how cheaply this one is made, it does feel very fragile and the bottom is just a piece of paper slipped in rather than the solid base of the original game. Still playable and just as fun, but I don’t see it lasting as long.
Classic ‘Frustration’ style game.
The quality of everything is good. The pieces come in a paper packet, much better than plastic, and the board is bright and colourful, and the dice ‘pops’ nicely. (see my video)
My 5 year old loved playing it, and I can see this being a firm favourite for us… No batteries needed, not too many fiddly pieces, just an overall fun game to play, with a bit of chance!
I would recommend!
This is in effect a short version of Ludo – only about 25 places to travel round the board rather than about 50. So – suitable for smaller children or those with a very short span of attention.
It’s a good family game – great for getting the family together.
The dice is captured in a plastic bubble which means you won’t ever lose it, something which can happen easily with the ludo board game. It’s a pity there isn’t somewhere attached to the board to store the counters so that they don’t get lost either. As it is, you just have to keep everything in the box, which doesn’t seem to be any improvement on the board game.
Had a fun time playing this with my great grandchildren. We needed a bigger dice so had to buy 1 we bought 2 which made the game play quicker. A plus when playing with a 5 year old.
