I bought another brand of these which was 5 for 10 and they did not work with any of my external drives. Get these instead even though they cost a little more.

These angled USB M&F connectors are excellent, well made and excellent quality. The connections are solid with no ‘wobble’. They are brilliant in tight spaces as they protrude a quarter of the distance from the USB port compared to a standard straight plug. I can’t recommend them highly enough for connections where perpendicular space is restricted.

These come in handy for all those random old devices and accessories for which I can never find a cable.

I have a couple of old external 2.5″ portable hard disk dives that are still useful for making OS Backups or occasional file transfers, and I can never find the cables for them. Even when I do find one, the next time I go to use it it’s missing again! I think because I only use them occasionally, so these help out, since they’re easy to keep in my top desk drawer and find.

They’re well made, the aluminium casing is good, and the connectors fit well. Using a random USB C cable, my drive, shown above (It has yellowed over time), was recognized straight away, and copy speeds were the same as I’m used to with that drive, I’m pretty sure it’s only USB 2, so 480Mbps max. I’m not sure if Mini USB is limited to this speed, but I’m guessing it is since it’s an old connector type. In any case, the speed is fine and should be for any Mini USB device.

I have various other items with Mini USB connectors as well, such as lights and an old mouse.

For a two-pack, the price is very reasonable, and the quality is excellent. It might be better if they were shorter, but I’m not sure if that’s technically possible.

I am happy to have these, now I keep one at home and one at work and they have sold my issue, another problem solved!

I put some pictures showing them in use.

As inline USB 3.0 to USB 3.0 connectors these look and feel good enough for the money

These just add to the connectors that one needs to keep in a draw to cover all eventualities.

Primary role is for connecting/extending a USB cable for data or power or data & power.

All seemed to work ok and reasonable value for money

Images show how received and what was in the box

Note: The standard sized UK plug/adapter is used as a size reference

Like many people, I still have some things that want to be charged via a miniUSB port.

This enables me to do that while only carrying around a USB C charger.

Not ran into any issues so far and they seem to work ok. I got these as they are useful for turning my USB cable plugged into the back of my pc from being able to plug into a device (e.g. a phone) to being able to plug something into the cable (like a USB stick) which is handy. It can also be used to join 2 cables together.

Clearly not USB IF tested and certified which is why they aren’t using the official USB logos for 40gbps and 100w (and in fact the 100w isn’t shown on it anywhere which is irritating because in a years time I probably won’t remember what power these are rated for).

There’s not too much to say about an adapter. It’s a nice quality utility device, snug fit at both ends and reassuringly solid. Looks smart too.

I still have a couple of older devices that use this type of connector and it’s useful to carry an adapter in case I can’t lay my hand on the correct cable. I always have USB C cables as nearly everything comes with that connection nowadays.

Even comes with a spare. Full marks.

Not much to say over these adaptors except they are of decent quality with good connections (not gold plated) and they convert a USB A port into a USB C male.

Strongly made and should last a while if not abused.

Useful adaptors at a decent price.

One of a wide range of choices of adapters, I chose these to use my tablet usb-c port with a USB-A extension cable. They are simple adapters of good quality and offer a handy alternative to dedicated cables.

USB 90 adapters, one to face up and another to face down (or left/right). I use one to redirect the mouse/keyboard wifi dongle sticking out the front of my PC to face down rather than projecting 40mm outwards and catching on everything.

Not a lot to say other than if you need to change the direction of a USB port then get a pack of these.
