ALASKA BEAR Natural Silk Pillowcase, Hypoallergenic, 19 momme, 600 thread count 100 percent Mulberry Silk with hidden zipper (50 x 75 cm, Taupe)
Washing and Care Instructions:
1. For best results, hand wash silk pillowcases inside out in cold water, using mild neutral liquid detergent. Detergents formulated specifically for silk will keep the silky-softness of the fabric.
2. Do not soak dark-colored silk for more than five minutes. Wash separately and do not mix with other harsher fabric as it will break down the more delicate silk fibers.
3. Avoid tumble-drying. The heat will change silk dramatically and cause the loss of softness/sheen.
4. Wrinkles in silk should disappear with time, and so ironing is not recommended. If you must, be sure to use a low setting without steam and iron on the reverse side of damp silk, which may bring some of the sheen back to the charmeuse front side.
5. Always take off your make-up and mascara before you go to bed. Not only would your skin benefit by being able to breath, rest and recover, but the white pillowcase would not stain. (NEVER use bleach products, it turns the silk yellow!)

I am enjoying my pillowcase, cool to touch throughout the night. Nice on skin. Quality materials. Have washed once to date and happy that the quality seems to have remained the same .
Bought for my daughter who has very curly hair, and moves around a lot in bed. Since using this pillow the effect it has had on her hair has been really positive. Her hair is much less knotty and tangled in the morning. The material seems good quality and the silk is very soft, she is a very sensory seeking child and so enjoys this. The pillowcase washes well and has been in the tumble drier once by mistake and it’s actually still as good as new. I love that the pillowcase has a zip on it too. Wasn’t the cheapest on Amazon but glad I chose this one. Highly recommended- will be buying myself one too.

Sadly, I was missing my hair tie. Very sad about that, judging by the quality of the case, I think it would have been awesome. Great customer service from the seller to resolve this. I did notice that the case is too big on my pillow despite it being a standard size fit, so should have fit my standard pillow. I have to fold it over at one side. I turn in the night so I feel like the case twists and dislodges my pillow if that makes sense. I also really dislike the zip feature but because the case is big I can fold the zip part. I do think overall that this case provides value for money. I have actually purchased another to give my sizer as a gift, I would recommend this case.
