Extremely simple to setup and then automatically keeps connected every time. I have been using it for two weeks now and has never let me down. Used in my Skoda Yeti 2017. Very pleased.
I have returned two previous adaptors purchased as they either didn’t work or worked intermittently at best. This one set up perfectly first time and has connected pretty much instantly every time of using since. So far so good. Long may it last.
Mounted it on my e46. It works pretty good and although the led stays on while the car is off, it consumes almost no energy from the battery. For my surprise, it came with 2 cables for attaching it to a motorbike battery, I used them and a dremmel to put the old 12v outlet somewhere on the central console. I am really happy with it.
This is an amazing product. Two USB sockets on the top support fast charging (shown in the image, also phone notification).
I use one cigarette lighter socket for dashcam, without any issues. The other one is still free to be used as an extra. The main charger stays in place inside arm-rest box. I did not have any issues, like disconnecting when driving etc. You just need ro press it tightly to charge, then it will stay in place.
So far I am happy with my purchase, would surely recommend it.
Very easy to install. Didn’t realise connectors were supplied, but actually didn’t need them. Replaced worn out cigarette lighter socket in my daughter’s Fiesta and she loves it. Charges her phone and satnav, and the blue light is a bonus 🙂

I bought this to install in my car as I don’t ever use the cigar lighter that was there before – only a usb adaptor. Made sense to move on with the times and do a little update!
It was super easy to install – there was very little room in the cigar lighter socket area, so I had to file off the plastic tabs on the back of this. If you have lots of room at your point, then you won’t need to make any adaptions! It was simply a case of securing it in and connecting the wires!
The volt meter does appear to be quite accurate and the USB sockets charge up 2 devices very quickly. The unit does become quite warm when charging 2 devices, but it does cool quite quickly. Would recommend this unit for its ease of installation and features.
I needed a car outlet that had some level of configuration due to tight space in my car and the need for having a number of charging points. This charging unit is perfect, has flexibility to move to an appropriate position needed. Plenty of charging available. Really good unit.
