Toen hij uit de verpakking kwam zag ik onmiddellijk dat het ‘kwaliteit” was. Hij is gemaakt uit staal en moet opgehangen worden via gaten boren en vast schroeven. Dit proces verliep vlekkeloos en de wall-mount is stevig. Heb je een PS5 slim digital edition dan heeft hij wel het ‘kussentje” nodig dat je moet plakken op de wall-mount: doe dit zeker, zo gaat je toestel namelijk minder bewegen en hangt hij net dat ietsje steviger. Het ‘stukje” dat je er bij krijgt voor je controller(s) en koptelefoon op te hangen vindt ik van een slechte en goedkope kwaliteit: dit is gewoon plastiek dat je in elkaar klikt. Dit had ik ook wel verwacht in staal te zijn, maar bon. Al bij al een goed product. Ik ben tevreden!
Prior to receiving this PS5 bracket the idea of mounting my PS5 up on a wall had never crossed my mind. What an excellent idea! With a mount included for the controllers the PS5 and all its accessories it keeps the desktop clear. The listing states that being on a wall aids ventilation. I can’t see how, but there is an unmentioned advantage to the unit being wall mounted. Less dust, fluff etc will be drawn into the PS5, which will improve ventilation and keep heat levels down.
This is a strong well made piece of equipment, powder coated to provide a long lasting finish. I do have a small quibble though. Not a fault of the bracket in any way. It’s the wires that will unavoidably trail down the wall. I assume Auniq have the same dislike as they miss them out in all their photos? Still, it’s a small price to pay to get your PS5 a permanent home up on a wall out the way. And less chance of ruining it with a spilt drink-unless you hurl you’re can at it in a moment of elation-or defeat!
The metal frame is well built and even though it is quite flexible along it’s length, it is still strong enough to handle the ps5 in its bulk. Box ships with everything needed to set this up and should be a breeze, fairly priced…recommend
