I don’t go hiking personally, however, we do go for walks and this is also very handy for theme park visits.
It has excellent storage, plenty of options for putting things. I really have no bad things to say about it.
If I was pushed, the material is perhaps a little thin so I’d expect it to wear quicker than perhaps some sturdier ones.
This back pack is a good quality product. Built quality is good as well.
This back pack has plenty of space inside. It has got side pocket for your drinks. Its good for the people who go for hiking. They can store enough stuff inside. This is water resistant but not water proof.
It quite light weight and easy to carry with you. It can be folded and store when not in use.
This hiking backpack is lightweight and of excellent quality. The 40L capacity is perfect for day trips. I found it comfortable during my excursion to the Peak District, and I did not feel too warm on my back. It has many compartments that I can put all needed items like a water bottle, power bank and mini tripod. Most importantly, the zippers also operate smoothly. This backpack is priced at 17.99 which I think is good value considering the size and quality. I would recommend this backpack if you’re looking for a hiking backpack for a day trip.
This is a good backpack for those day hikes for most people. Has side pockets for your water bottles. Plenty of space inside. Due to its reflective green colour it’s great for those winter evenings when using it as a work/school bag.
Should be ok when you get a short burst of rain as it’s water resistant but not waterproof.
I wouldn’t use personally for mountain hikes like Snowdon as you want something built for more comfort, better access to pockets and they designed to sculpture your body better. This backpack only has a chest strap but no belly strap which for long hikes is essential. However this backpack is good value at only 18.48 currently.
Overall, decent size, good price and decent size.
Reviewed based upon the price point for such an item, presently retailing for 17.99 exc. 5% on checkout to be applied. Be aware premium brands will be charging circa 4 times the amount!!!
Considering the price, this is a really nice backpack. It’s not designed for serious hiking or really bad weather but it’s functional for every day use etc. Plus I found it comfortable to wear.
The pack is well made, for me, I really like the design & functionality. The stitching is good, and the fabric is strong versus some others I’ve seen at this price point.
Size is 40L, which is a good practical every day use size. Some day packs are under 30L, which is fine, but that additional 10L does make a difference.
I really can’t fault this bag, great price, good size, nicely designed.
5/5
A good medium sized backpack with ample space in the main compartment.
There is another slimline compartment on the front and in front of that a largish pocket, both of which have a zipper to ensure secure holding of your items.
On the front is a good elastic tightening cord crisscrossed holding system as well two side elastic pull to holders. These two holders are useful, but they are only at the top of the backpack and really require another at the botom of the backpack as what you put in them tend to swing around. That said the compression side straps do help keep the items some what secured.
On the side are also two elastic pockets for a water bottle or two.
The straps are comfortable and padded and have a chest strap to help kepp the backpack secure.
A good backpack for the day trip and just over the airline small bag size.
Review for Besrina 40L Hiking Backpack, Multi-functional Water Resistent Travel Rucksack with Reflective, Large Capacity Daypack for Walking Camping Trekking Running Cycling Outdoor Sports
A well made sturdy backpack with good capacity plenty of storage pockets and compartments. The fabric is durable waterproof and abrasive resistant which for me makes it a good choice as I often have laptops which need good all round protection and from getting wet. Equipped with two padded shoulder straps (with chest strap) and grab handle for ease of carrying. Two net pockets for drink bottles and reflective detailing for low light visibility. The backpack is versatile and practical enough for many different uses such as hiking, travel, office, biking. Overall a practical, tough waterproof versatile and practical well priced backpack which is comfortable.
This Hiking Backpack offers ample storage space and is water-resistant, making it suitable for various outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and cycling. The reflective detailing adds a safety feature for low-light conditions. However, I have noticed that the straps and back padding is less comfortable for extended wear, especially on longer hikes. Additionally, while the backpack is spacious, the organization of compartments could be improved for better accessibility. Overall, it’s a decent option for shorter outdoor adventures but may not be ideal for heavy-duty or long-distance trekking.

I was drawn to this by the excellent colour! However, there is much more to like than just the colour!
You can pack in an awful lot of stuff in this neat pack and the straps are comfortable for all day use. The padded back also helps! Used in a theme park in the rain, the contents stayed dry. There are multiple pockets and elastics but these all make sense. The zips are smooth and secure.
I foresee this getting much use!
ALTHOUGH I RECEIVED THIS PRODUCT FOR FREE VIA THE AMAZON “VINE” PROGRAMME, I VALUE MY INTEGRITY SO ALWAYS GIVE HONEST, UNBIASED OPINIONS.
FOR ME:
A 4* PRODUCT IS GOOD – It does everything it says it should.
A 5* PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT — It does everything it should and MORE or PARTICULARLY WELL or is EXCELLENT VALUE
LOWER STAR RATINGS ARE GIVEN WHERE THERE IS A FLAW, A DESCRIPTION IS MISLEADING or THERE IS ANOTHER ISSUE WHICH WILL BE CLEARLY STATED.
Currently 17.99, less a 5% voucher, its dirt cheap and could have the quality to match – except that it doesn’t. Instead it is pretty good. A nice stroll in the countryside for a couple of hours? This is ideal.
An all-day rain-swept hike through the hills? No, get something much more technical.
This pack has a few features that are oftern missing at this price level:
– padded straps
– chest strap
– vented back
What is lacks, that more expensive packs have:
– firmer structure on the back
– better waterproofing
– a waist strap (sometimes)
I have a couple of technical packs for planned walks, but this pack is ideal for living in the boot of my car for spontaneous walks and unplanned grocery purchases.
Recommended, assuming you are clear on how you will use it.
Bag feels a bit thin in places, but I guess this keeps it lightweight. It’s definitely water resistant, and has done a good job so far of keeping parcels dry when it’s chucking it down with rain.
The inside compartment is one large pocket, with a slip for a laptop. But there are a few smaller zips and pockets on the outside.
The straps are full adjustable and make for a secure fit. There’s padding on the straps, but not so much on the shoulders, so heavy loads can get uncomfortable.
Only downside for me is that the bag was a bit dirty on the inside base when I first opened this, maybe mould? Anyway, a quick rinse in the washing machine got rid of it.
This is a good backpack. There’s soft back padding and, with the padded shoulder straps, it’s comfortable to wear. The main compartment is very roomy and there are a couple of smaller zipped compartments, along with bottle holders either side. The nylon material is water resistant and relatively sturdy and there are the straps and loops that you expect with a backpack. The stitching that holds the whole thing together is not the best – it just doesn’t seem as tight or as seamless as it is on a couple of other backpacks in the same price bracket that I own. I think it will last in the long run and given the price, I don’t think it’s a deal breaker.
This is a decent ruck sack for those not venturing too far or for use around town with you laptop and lunch.
There are plenty of different sized pockets for stowing your various bits and pieces and side mesh pockets with loop straps for water bottles or collapsed walking poles etc.
There is an elasticated mesh cord across the back that allows you to stow additional kit such as a light rain mac and the whole this is water resistant.
There is also has an orange rescue / mountain whistle built into the chest buckle as most similar rucksacks would have now a days.
I’ve dropped a star as I would have preferred to have seen a waist strap with this to help stabilise it on longer walks – also for longer walks on hotter days you may want a system that lifts the backpack away from your back to allow ventilation – but for the price at time of writing of 17.99 this represents excellent value for money for those looking for a medium sized backpack for shorter less arduous hikes / walks.
