I want to have my official macbook charger for on the go but have a non-usb charging setup at home too. So I got this as it’s just as a good as the official one.
Bought this for a new macbook and when the macbook did work (for all of 24hours! no fault of the cable) it charge pretty quicky, i think by checking system info managed to pull 97.9 Watts from a 100 Watts power supply. have now given to a friend who uses it without fault and pulls almost full speed 140 Watts from the original macbook charger for a macbook 16″. pretty strong cable too.
